CALL OFF ENGAGEMENT.
Olivia subconsciously move away from him and covered her neck. This morning she was in a messy situation and didn't even look at herself properly in the mirror. However, Felix's gaze had been staring at her neck the whole time, she felt a cold aura coming from him causing her to feel a little fear from the bottom of her heart.
Felix had never been intimate with her before apart from a kiss on her cheeks and now she had a hickey on neck. "I... I went to stay at my friend's house." Olivia covered her neck with her hands and gripped it very close, leaving a few handprints on her snow-white neck.
"Which friend?" Felix asked in an aggressive manner, while his face was vivid with anger. Olivia had just returned home from abroad two months ago and had not made any friend. so how could she stay at a friend home for the night when she doesn't even have one?
Felix's stare made her feel uncomfortable. Her face was red and hot, as if she had done something shameful.
Last night, when Olivia went to the restroom, she had actually disappeared, Mr Brown felt cheated, unhappy and angry. Their business collaboration had also failed, making him to lose alot of money. Felix was very angry and didn't know what to say.
Ethan and Elizabeth McQueen, who was standing at the side, both looking unhappy. Elizabeth rushed towards her daughter and pulled on her clothes. She asked with a sharp voice but with a hint of concern "Liv, where did you go last night?"
The wet clothes on her felt terrible on her body, and everything that had happened made it even harder for her to accept. She shook her head and didn't answer her mother's question. with tears in her eyes and a shaky voice, she said, "Felix, let's call off our engagement."
Felix clenched his fists in anger, and had an icy expression on his face. "which man did it? tell me." he roared.
"Don't ask me anymore, I'm no longer a virgin now. leave I don't want to be with you anymore." Olivia hugged herself and went to curled up in the sofa like an helpless child.
"Felix gnashed his teeth in anger and shouted hysterically, "why did you do it?, why did you betray me? why?".
Olivia didn't say a word anymore as she bit her lips and rushed into her room.
The bathtub was filled with a dense fog. Olivia was lying in the bathtub, her tears flowing freely. she was laughing and crying at the same time. she ruthlessly wiped her skin with a sponge, almost pilling her skin off. she felt dirty, she just lost her dignity to a total stranger whose name she didn't know, she didn't know why but she couldn't remember his appearance that much but his eyes were especially deep blue. it reminded her of the ocean.
Furthermore, Felix performance last night in front of Mr Brown didn't seems like that of a lover at all. could it be that Felix had drugged her wine last night? He wanted to sell her off to Mr Brown? she thought. no wonder she felt dizzy after drinking just a glass of wine. she felt scared and betrayed.
Maybe she was overthinking it. she laid powerlessly in the bathtub. she had no evidence that she was actually drugged and thought she was going crazy. Felix wouldn't sell her out, he was her fiance and they had been together for three years.
Olivia mind was filled with guilt and she felt like she had betrayed Felix that was why she wanted to break up with him.
"Liv." Elizabeth knocked on her daughter's door . she stood outside the door with a frown on her face. when she didn't receive any response from her daughter she knocked again.
After a while, Olivia said slowly, "yes, come in."
"Baby, are you hungry?" Elizabeth asked Olivia with a worried expression on her face and brought a tray of food in her hand to the bed side.
Olivia laid on the bed without saying a word. she looked pale and was currently in a trance, completely out of this world. if she went to work she definitely wouldn't be able to perform any operation in this state. She took the glass of milk from the tray her mother had brought with great difficulty and said with a flat smile "I'm not hungry."
"Baby if you want to cry, just cry. tell mum what happened, just don't make me worry, Okay?" Elizabeth touched her daughter hair as she coaxed her gently waiting for her to open up.
Olivia said with a tight reassuring smile on her face "Mum, I'm really fine, I'm just a little stressed. I'll be fine, I just want to be alone for now please."
Elizabeth knew not to probe any further, she knew her daughter was a person who won't talk out her feelings with anyone except she wants to. she closed her eyes and inhale softly. She didn't know what kind of sin her family had committed to make their company on the verge of bankruptcy. Now had daughter had been deflowered by someone and she wouldn't open up. she knew her daughter was in more pain than anyone else right now and decided to give her some space.
Later in the evening, the rain had stopped. Olivia had been curled up in her room all day, feeling suffocated, she decided to go out for a walk.
It was rush hour and the city was buzzing with people. the air smelled fresh from the rain. On the LED screen in the plaza beside the street, there was a huge advertisement on the screen about the latest jewellery.
Susy Ray a world known famous actress, she had a beautiful figure and diamond necklace around her neck, Her appearance was that of the noble and graceful, making her look very beautiful. Many people stopped in their tracks as they took out their phone to take pictures of Susy on the big screen.
Susy was the number one actress at AS International Entertainment industry. She had a pure and sweet appearance, and had recently become very popular.
"Susy is so beautiful." some people in the crowd gasped in admiration.
"Beauty is useless without having a powerful backer. she has Alexander backing her from behind. Her fame is not ordinary." someone from the crowd said with a sour tone.
"No matter how beautiful she is, she still a play thing to the rich and powerful men. she must have a relationship with Alexander as it was always rumour that the two of them often go in and out of the hotels together."
"Every woman wants a man as handsome and powerful as Alexander." someone said again.
Olivia could only smile as she listens to the crowd discussion. Alexander Ambrose was very famous in the united states. He was the President and CEO of AS International, and he was just twenty four years old this year. It was said that he cleaned up AS International as soon as he took office, expelling all the senior figures in the company. within three months, the company stocks had risen by seven percent. His existence was like a god, and many women were admiring him.
However very few people had seen Alexander true face. He rarely makes appearance on the entertainment or business news, and even if he did the photo would immediately be brought down and the reporter who took it would lost his job.
Olivia lowered her head in thought. Just who was the person from last night? Fragrant of memories chaotically flashed through her mind, and when she recalled how she had moaned beneath him, She suddenly blushed.
She didn't know where she was going, but it was as if the air had suddenly become quite. They were five thugs swaggering towards Olivia with daggers in their hands. Sensing the strange atmosphere, Olivia suddenly stopped in her tracks.
"What do you want to do?" Olivia said with shivering voice mixed with fear and her fist subconsciously clenched as her eyes widened.
The thug with a blonde hair smiled charmingly, saying "I heard you lost your virginity last night and someone came and pay us to accompany you to have a good time. you definitely didn't enjoy yourself last night but we make sure of it today."
"How much do you want? I can give it to you. I'll pay double." Olivia begged as she hugged her bag to herself tightly. Her beautiful eyes looked at them warily, but she kept backing off step by step.
"Your family company is on the verge of bankruptcy, so you don't have much money to pay us, be a good girl and take the initiative to come play with us, maybe we'll still have mercy on you later." The blonde hair spoke with a wicked smile and looked at Olivia lustfully. His eyes full with desire.
"In your dreams." Olivia screamed as she started running.
