The wet, enliven street of the city rested in thrill as the well-nigh starless dark sky wept over it.

I looked out of the car window, my eyes sweeping through the night street as a smile appeared on my face. This was the first time in months that I was going outside, even though it was night time, still better than being locked inside of a mansion like a prisoner.
