After not being able to find the Originals, Stefan left it his loyal vampires who Al Capone helped him build and the Ghosts of the other side to track Klaus down.

But Stefan didn't give up, he always use his Blood Link ability whenever he can but it always leads to a dead end so he decided to focus on the new quest and maybe he could get something that might help him but after seeing requirements to complete the quest, he sighed as he knew he was not going to complete the quest anytime soon.

When Stefan saw all of these requirements, he sighed and just and decided to go out and experience the world he missed for the last five years.

"Look who is finally out of his self imposed cell" said Katherine the moment Stefan came out.

"I can't just live my life in that room, can I?" said Stefan as he got a drink for himself "which is why I will be travelling the world and in the process find the originals especially Klaus and get my child while giving him an eternity of Misery"

Stefan smiled as he said that, he has already mapped out he was going to do to Klaus.

First he is going to help him become a full fledged Hybrid and make sure Elena comes out alive and that as a Vampire so that he can never have his hybrid army.

Second, he is going make sure he and Hayley meets and have their one night stand and make sure she gets pregnant for him and when that baby his born and Klaus holds in his arms and smiles, he is going to swoop in and take that child away from him, even if it means going against the entire Mikaelsons, he doesn't care because by then, he would have completed one of that Progenitor's Quest granting him an extra boast.

"Looking at your smile, I beginning to pity Klaus, but I have something to ask of you" Katherine dropped her glass of wine and leaned over to Stefan "whenever you are planning to put Klaus done, let me deal the finishing blow"

After she said that, she kissed Stefan to which he reciprocate by kissing her back.

"Go get a rood you two" said Gloria who walked past them just now.

Stefan just nodded but he had Mo intention of killing Klaus until he breaks his sire line because if Klaus dies, Damon will die so does Katherine, same goes for Lily who must be trapped in the prison world currently, she is someone who he also wants to punish a little for abandoning her sons for a psycho.

Speaking of that Psycho, he should go get his body, the Phoenix stone and wait for the right moment where he can exact his revenge for killing his first unborn child when he was still human even if he wasn't particularly him back then.

"I will do just that, but right, I will have to go, I will be leaving Chicago for a while and you are not going to come with me because you are going to spend the next 100 years of your life here where you can never be seen by anyone who knows the famous Katherine Pierce" said Stefan as he snapped her neck before she could even protest.

He took her body back to the room and placed her on the bed.

After a while Gloria came in "so what should I do with her?" Asked Gloria.

"Seal the room, make sure she starves and dessicate. You will get a call from me to wake her up when the time is ready, but until then, she should remain this way" said Stefan.

If he wants to exact his Revenge on Klaus, he is going to need everything to go according to the plot but not everything per say, he just doesn't want Damon to see Katherine yet, she is one of the reason he went back to Mystic Falls in the first place and he does not want to ruin that by him seeing Katherine by chance.

The reason why he wants Damon in Mystic Falls is because he is not going to go to Mystic Falls to fawn over miss Elena, the one who makes everything about herself, he can just do everyone a favour and allow Damon and her fall heads over each other quicker.

"So when will you be coming back?" asked Gloria.

Stefan looked at her and felt bad for her but she was just a means to an end from the very beginning but he is not going to tell he was never going to come back, even if he did come back, it is not going to for her, "after everything is over, I promise" Stefan lied and immediately walked out of the door, never looking back.
