Chapter 9: Regret

Y/N POV

you are left shocked, you're childhood friend was the one who harmed you so much. your first love. after he left you went up to bakugo and he held you close to try and make you feel better the best he could. since he's not the very best person at comfort, as you have learned but he always does his best.

Bakugo POV

damnit, why couldn't i stop him faster. why why why. he shouldn't have kissed her, he shouldn't have gotten that close. at least he's gone but he knows where she is, which she was so scared of. why do i feel like this. i've never been this way with anyone. i hold her as close as i can and comfort her the most i can. but i feel horrible about it, she is such a good person but he does this to her and she is going to feel horrible about it. "teddy bear i promise this isn't your fault, you're okay, and im here. i promise. im not going anywhere, it's not your fault." i feel her tears on my shirt again. i hate when she cries. i look over to all might asking if we can leave and he allows us to. i carry her on my back to her dorm comforting her still.

Y/N POV

you're still on bakugo's back and he takes you into your down. "im going to go outside okay? right at the door, so you can change out of your uniform." "no stay, please, it won't bother me, just don't leave." you look at him with ready eyes and he nods and sits down. you grab one of his hoodies and put it on as you change his phone goes off, he reads it out loud. "yo dude is y/n okay. is she hurt? i heard about shigaraki." "she's fine, im with her now in her dorm, just it'll take time for her to process a lot of stuff that is happening." he responds to kiri. you curl up in his lap and you hear him start to hum a song, and it's a lullaby. you smile and you go up to kiss him. he kisses back, it's sweet and no where near an aggressive kiss but it was still so passionate. you thought of a statement you two have never said to one another. you knew you did but you never found the time to tell him, but now was perfect, "bakugo?" you say pulling away but keeping your foreheads against one another, "yes love?" "i've wanted to say this for so long but i never found the right time, so, i'll say it now," he looks at you slightly confused. "i love you." "i love you too, more than you will ever know."

Bakugo POV

she finally said the words i've been wanting to say. if it weren't for her i don't know if i would still have myself, i almost had lost who i was before i met her, i was so focused on training i didn't have who i was anymore. she's so beautiful. i could spend every moment with her and still want more. "are you hungry?" she nods and i go to stand and i feel her climb back on me, i smile and help her up. we head over to the kitchen and see kiri and sero on the couch. "y/n! are you okay?" they both ask and she just nods into my shoulder. i make us ramen with her still not letting go and i bring it back to her dorm. we sit down and eat with music on in the background.

Y/N POV

bakugo still doesn't know everything about you and tanak-shigaraki. he doesn't know about how you were before you moved to Japan, or your past relationships. with the only one having been the guy who apparently tried to kill you. you finish up your food and bakugo puts the bowls on your desk and you look at the time, 6 pm, you didn't have any assignments or anything else to do so you have a lazy night with him. and stay snuggled up while watching disney movies.

All Might POV

if it weren't for bakugo earlier i don't know what would have happened. she didn't know who shigaraki really was?! this is going to be bad. really bad. i talked to her adoptive parents about everything and they said they had met him, and that they were together but abruptly she ended it and decided she wanted to move to japan. and they obliged as they knew i was her father.

Shigaraki POV

the only reason i wanted to fully gain control over my quirk was so i could hold her again. and i did. but he ruined it. god why is she so dumb, she ends our relationship and moves on to him? a guy like him?! granted she never actually knew my name or who i was outside of being with her, but she changed me so much, and she leaves? to become a hero. why. she would be perfect by my side. bakugo has more control then i do. but he also goes to UA meaning he has more guidance. he was a great fighter when we encountered before but he isn't the only one who has grown.and now that he stole whats mine i will fight even harder
