14 Using My Unique Skills
Standing up from my previous seated position against the wall I continued to look at my status screen. It seemed my dexterity had increased by around 30-40 stat points and i could even feel this change my mind subconsciously accepting that I could now flip through the room easily. Not only that but I was getting the sense that manoeuvrability would no longer be an issue for me unless magic was used. having no clue of where this information was appearing from I decided to ignore the question for now and moved on.
Walking out of my house I quickly made my way towards one of the temporary forge areas, these outdoor forges being used to make the nails, door brackets and other things for the village. Now, you may be wondering, 'How do they get the minerals for the doors!?', well, Rimuru was supplying us with Magicule Metal, the stuff he got from Veldora's cave.
Anyway, stepping into this area I saw Kaijin and some other Dwarves working the forged with the assistance of some of the male Hobgoblins and even a few female Hobgoblins as well. They were all working on different things with many of the projects being small things to allow their assistants time to learn. As i stepped up toward the smiths Kaijin turned in my direction, his forging glasses covering his eyes as he was grinning from ear to ear. He enjoyed smithing quite a lot it seemed.
"Silviana-san, what seems to be the issue?"
His tone was rather baritone but cordial, his facial expressions moulding to ones of questioning.
"Mmm, I wanted to see if I could get a Bow."
"A bow, is it? Hmmm, it is possible to forge it out of magi-steel but it would require significant strength. Can you lift an anvil?"
Before he had time to blink I stepped up to an anvil and lifted it, my hands turning white under the weight. It was easier than I thought it would be, considering that 10 was the base strength for a normal human I currently had around 6.8 Human's worth of strength behind me. Using this as a basis for my stats it could be seen that people in this world could get very powerful, with beasts like Milim being able to destroy entire mountains and cities. Kaijin was impressed mildly impressed by the strength before setting down his tongs.
"I'll make you a flexible Steel Bow, It'll need the aid of the enchanter and some other smiths but it should be done in a two days." Nodding I smiled a little, the entire area freezing for a moment as everyone looked at me.
"Thank you." Feeling like my task was finished here I walked away, leaving most of the men and women in that area a little stunned. I rarely ever smiled and this was probably the cause of their befuddled state. I liked it a little, being able to effect so many people just with a small gesture.
I had many things to test with my abilities and thus i started to test them out. Walking to the edge of the forest I began to toy with my abilities trying my Umbral Assault. I summoned a shadowy bow and arrow, made of pure darkness. The bow was perfect size for me and the arrow was just a spear of energy created from purple. Drawing backwards on the bow string the 'arrow' intensified until it was like a beacon of purple electricity. Pulling back and aiming it I tried to hit a nearby tree. My muscles strained as if there was a physical weight to the activity I was doing, the bow becoming more solid until I loosed the energy arrow. A thunderous crack of lightning instantly struck the tree splitting it in two before piercing through two other trees, their roots and limbs sizzling as a small fire began to start.
My concern was instant as I realised that Dryads looked after the forest and that I had just unintentionally destroyed it. I had expected my attack to maybe stick into the tree, not perforate it and two others. Using Water Manipulation I drenched the trees to stop a forest fire. Standing there I saw the trees, still smoking but fully drenched, they were close to death, the life slowly radiating away into the ground. Sadness filled the pit of my stomach as my Growth Ability allowed me to feel what the spirits of the forest were feeling.
'Shit... I have to fix this!'
Closing my eyes and focussing on my Magicules and specifically my growth ability, I began to will the two separate parts of the first tree i had hit to mend. Seconds later my head was splitting, a migraine emanating from it as the sheer stress of commanding nature to do something for me was monumental. When I cracked open my eyes to watch if I had done what I wanted I found the trees slowly repairing, life springing back into their limbs. Sadness soon was vanquished as a feeling of happiness and surprise filled my heart. It seemed the Dryads and Spirits were surprised with my actions.
'Ughhh... This sucks... Maybe I need more of a connection to deal with nature?' Just as i finished that thought my mind cooled and calmed, a sensation equivalent to having a dip in a cool river washing over my entire body.

'...Why am i getting all of this shit now? Why not when I started?'
There was no response from the rip-off Morgan Freeman and no notification to explain anything, i was basically left with a massive question and no way of discovering the answer to it. Going back to my current situation I soon found the ability to mend plants and trees easy, in fact, I could now somewhat sense the state of the flora around me. It was as if i had just been invited to a long surviving chat room and I was stuck in the backlog of the chat. So much information and no way to forget it...
'Damn, i suppose there is a trade-off for gaining eidetic memory.'
Blinking a little and creating some water to wash my face with I began to calm down, my Magicules half depleted. Lethargy was starting to enter my being at the massive use of magic but I couldn't end my training here, i needed to understand each of my abilities.
Going forward with my tests and training I soon began to imagine some useful spells, my intent being to test Magicule Infinatatum Potentia. It was a mouthful for starters but i remember it stating that: Through Magicule Infinatatum Potentia, I gain the ability to shatter the limitations imposed by traditional magic systems, allowing me to explore new avenues of magical expression and experimentation. It seemed very broken, especially considering that I can basically use magic without a need for a system of magic... No remembering spells and forgetting them like in DND or using sacrifices for magic like the Vampire the Masquerade.
Using my imagination I quickly tried to do a spell that was famous in DND and was fairly useful. A small ball of Fire emerged inside the palm of my hand, it was as small as a 50cent coin in my past life and was just buzzing in my palm. I knew that if I chose a location within 100ft that I would be able to destroy a sizeable chunk of the forest, i didn't want to do that, so i aimed it upwards into the sky and let go.
With the speed of a bullet the little ball of flame whizzed into the sky, the buzzing intensifying as it went along its path. Then, around 130ft up, the small ball expanded into a massive roiling ball of flame that exploded outwards.

"Damn... That's bullshit..."
Looking down at my status sheet I decided to abuse the fuck out of my Magicule Infinatatum Potentia. Rimuru was broken so why can't i be?
