Awakening Within the Jura Tempest Federation
I awoke to the breeze blowing through the window next to my bed. Once again I had woken up after a battle here... I sighed as the laughing and giggling of children passed by my house. The Town was certainly very peaceful, i felt relief that nothing too bad had happened since I'd been out.
As I basked in the sunshine and the breeze I heard the door to the room open, Shuna stepping through with some breakfast. I smiled and sat up, my body aching and growling at me to stop whatever I was doing, which I naturally ignored.
'This is my wife, of course I'm going to sit up!'
With my subconscious and body told my intent I sat up onto my ass and looked at Shuna. The woman quivered a little and placed down the tray, her face going into shock. I was a little flabbergasted at her expression but this was blown away by her next sentence.
"It's been years..." I guppy fished as my brain tried to piece together how long I'd been asleep. I didn't think I had been asleep for years... 'Had I!?' My face became more concerned and ultimately changed into a complicated mix of frustrated, angered and saddened. But, just as i was about to start apologising; me believing every word she said because she had never lied to me before, a chuckle came from her. Her right hand went over her mouth and she grasped the tray once more, struggling to keep her laughter down.
"Silly, of course it hasn't been years... I wouldn't let you sleep that long!" Her words were rather convincing as her face became serious for a second, fading back into her relaxed and joyful expression soon after. I facepalmed and breathed deeply as i suppressed the anxiety and frustration I was just feeling.
"Why, did you have to do that?"
"Why did you verse those people by yourself?"
I grunted and slumped forwards a little, her question too valid to actually expect an answer to my own question. I felt like telling her the reason but when I felt her hand caress my cheek I put it to the side. Quickly, before she could pull her hand back, I put my hand over hers and closed my eyes. She was as warm and calming as ever. Her face went a little red but she just held her hand there, gazing at me kindly. Having a wife... I never thought I'd have a partner in my past life, but now that I had one, it was as if my will to live from when I was a child had returned.
"How long have I been out?"
"Two days... I had to carry you back to your bed."
"Oh... Sorry." She shook her head and placed the food on my lap, sitting down on a chair next to my bed soon after as she took one of my pieces of bacon. Frowning I started to eat, sharing my meal with Shuna who was finding more and more unique ways of taking food, including kissing me whilst a piece of bacon was outside of my mouth. My morning certainly turned unique after that as I shared some rather tasty food with my cute little wife who insisted on making out with me.
Unluckily for her the door to the room opened once more and Rimuru stepped through, his face arching upwards into a smile as he noticed Shuna's lips leaving mine. I squinted in his direction before sighing.

I attempted to stay normal at the fact that I had just rolled double sixes. My luck was usually mediocre or slightly above, in this life, now I was getting this? I started to sweat internally at the possible implications for my future.

"Sore... you?"
He chuckled and stepped up on the other side of the bed. His expression was rather tired, his form slumped a little forwards as if in mock tiredness. He may not have been to sleep for the last day or so.
"So how did it go after I went to sleep?"
He grimaced before recounting what had happened. Apparently after i went to sleep Milim decided to stay with her new 'bestie' and moved over here into the town. Along with her came the foundation of the Jura Tempest Federation. The Orcs, Lizardmen, Goblins and Ogres/Kijin would be the main parties of the alliance/federation and would all fall under the 'rule' of Rimuru. Along with this came a lengthy discussion on the Orc's position, alongside the instalment of a new king with the same name, Geld.
Now, after a day the entire town was swarming with new projects and roads being built. The construction of the aqueduct had begun and the military was also joining in on the construction, in fact they were the main ones doing the large roads. This freed up the work force of the Orcs for public works such as the market place, the forum and a plan that Rimuru had for a Coliseum. He said that he wanted it to be better than the original in ancient Rome. I was surprised but smiled at his antics.
Apparently he had been educating himself on the Roman Empire using The Great Sage to scour his memories. I was happy, my hard work had all turned out and now the Town was on the way to becoming one of the best places in this world. Now all I needed to do was to get Electricity up and running and make my own business in the form of Dishwashers, Dryers, Washing Machines and Weaponry... Oh wait, that's a company from my old life... 'Tehee!'
"I'm glad that everything turned out well." Rimuru smiled before sighing and walking away.
"I'm sorry, i can't stay for long... You will have to run the Town for a while, I'm going with Shizu for a little to meet her students!" He excitedly shouted whilst quickly running away.
'FUCKER!!!'
