Chapter Two

Arriving to our new home and meeting Lucinda

After the long drive up to our new place in Mythic city. It's a beautiful black house with white frames it gives off this modern but gothic feel in front it has a porch were you can have a lovely chat with others, it's an A frames roof along with the fact it's a two story building its wide with a porch going out on the right where we can have an indoor slash outside time with a gorgeous forest behind it. "Wow this is breathtaking," Pheobe gasp in astonishment she looks back at me before complimenting me, "nice find." I smile and start to gather up the bird bag pack who are squawking in excitement and start to bring them up to the porch with Pheobe following with her dogs, unlocking the door and opening it "whoa," I say amazed upon entering I start the joyful search for the cages that were set up by our parents since they are amazing while carrying the two bird bag pack, "I can't believe Mom and Dad kept this a secret," Pheobe mentions surprised I smile at this before finding a room with a bird sign on it and some engravings spelt Bird Room I open the sliding door to see all the cages all ready for the birds and play gyms for them settled up. The walls are different contrasts to the house they are white and the floor is light brown wood it's also got nice windows with a sliding door leading to another area for the birds where it starts to become an aviary style, after looking at the place I start putting the birds in their respectable cages. Once I've done that I started to search for Pheobe I walk to the lough to find Pheobe rubbing Lilly's belly the lough-room is a gothic red and black style "hey sis what do you want to do today and tomorrow, since it's Saturday?" I ask Curiously, Pheobe looks over and ponders in thought. "We could go check out the area, along with see the University of Mythic," she says in response, I nod in agreement and check to see if my phone is in my pocket along with my keys and wallet, "are we walking or driving?" I ask. "Driving clearly," Pheobe retorts in response with an eye roll after that we walk to the white Sedan and enter it preparing to drive. "So will check out the Universities area than get lunch?" I ask for conformation which earns a "yup," from Phoebe. After driving around we came across the neighborhoods of the University of Mythic and stay on the side of the road looking at this big blue three to four story building with white frames along with sport courses and other rooms hanging out the side. "Wow its impressive, shocking," she says then looks at me and retorts with a smile, "you're going to get lost so many times," she laughs I just shake my head and mutter a string of curse words under my breath which just doesn't help my situation it at all. "Where do you want to eat at?" I mutter loud enough for her to here, she looks at her phone and says "well this place looks interesting," and starts the directions. I follow the directions to a bakery called Wolves style bakery, I raise my eyebrows at the name but park the car non the less looking at the building its half baby blue and pastel pink with open windows 'not gonna lie its beautiful,' exiting the car we enter the building. Upon entering I notice the delicious mouthwatering smell of pastry, I look to the counter and line up at it, the counter like the front has pastel pink and baby blue, difference is its marbled together it has glass showing the pastries which is beautiful. I look up to the menu board and notice something familiar I decide to show Pheobe by point at it. "Chicken Meat Pie, I'm getting that," she stats I smile and agree with by saying "Same here I'm also getting Mocha iced coffee, do you want diet Pepsi or Mocha iced coffee?" She looks to me before saying "mocha iced coffee please." I nod, it's now our turn I approach a lady who looks to be in her late 40s early 50s she has light blonde hair, blue eyes, soft round features petite looking 6'-9" on her badge says Rhea Perez she is wearing a pastel pink shirt and baby blue pants with a white apron from what I can tell. "What would you like sweetie?" She asks softly in a British accent, I couldn't help but be respectful and give her a smile before responding "two Chicken Meat Pies and two Mocha iced coffee, thank you Mrs. Perez," after she put that done I grabbed my card she moved the card scan and I did the card scanning along with the pin she hands me a piece of paper with a number 51 and then points to where we wait, both Pheobe and I approach the spot and wait for a bit, I start to feel eyes looking at me so I look around but don't see anyone looking but there is a what looks to a tall slim short black haired white guy with grey eyes clean shaven looks to be fit his wearing all black clothing with a leather jacket he is looking at a newspaper but I don't think its him looking even though I have an odd feeling about him 'strange, maybe I'm being too cautious or paranoid,' after that our number gets called and we get our food and drinks saying some thank you before going outside to an outdoor table we see a purple table and sit down on the opposite side of each other. After that we start eating our lunch well more like dinner "This tastes similar to the ones we had in Australia," Pheobe saying happily. Not even a minute later till a young tannish 5'-5" orange hair braid in a long plait lady with a heart shape face and forest green eyes she is wearing a short open neckline red drees complementing her hourglass figure and black high heels and asked, "can I sit with you two I've never seen you lot before," in a little bit of an excited voice with an American accent. "Um yea sure why not," I reply unsure. She plops down next to me and says "I'm Lucinda, and you two are?" Both Pheobe and I look at each before she decides to speak up, which is usual, and says "I'm Pheobe Rivers," and then she points her head at me and says, "this is Phoenix Rivers my older sister we have just recently arrived here." Lucinda smiles at this and says "so the rumours of two newcomers are true." Pheobe has this look where it says of course there are already rumours about us, while I'm here thinking, 'what the, how in the world, how just how, why? Fuck not attention,' after calming my mind from a simple fact of a rumour along with the possible unwanted attention. I decided to look at Lucinda and gather her appearance a bit more she looks about my age which would be 19, I notice her eyes is a very beautiful green. The clothing is definitely something I'm not comfortable with wearing but she wears it like a pro. "Do you know of the University of Mythic?" I ask her. "Yes I know of that University I'm going there this year It's quite a good University. Apart from the fact of who owns it," Lucinda mentions. Pheobe pipes up and ask, "who owns it and why?" Lucinda responds with "Principle Isaac Steele is the one who owns the University of Mythic. Many girls flaunt themselves to him since his, well, what many say has Greek gods body but of course he refused them since his married and plus he has three sons who share the Greek god body," she breathes a dreamy like sigh before continuing with, "the only difference is they have a bit of an English accent since they learnt it from their mother who was raised in Great Britain, he has an American accent and he is from Texas's plus one of them has black hair like his mother," I look at her with a raised eyebrows but choose not to voice my opinion and go back to eating my mouthwatering flakey chicken pie that tastes like home thinking, 'I really didn't need to know those one of facts that's not why I'm going there, please no dirty thoughts brain,' After finishing my pie, I look to Pheobe who is already finished and smile in response to my smile she then says with a matter of fact tone, "Phoenix on Sunday we are going to the Avalanche mall I want to meet up with Amanda and Becka, it'll be great for you to finally meet them and plan on from there," then she looks at Lucinda and "you can join us if you want we will be there around 10am," I turn to her with wide eyes realizing she's dead serious. "I'd love to, here's my number," she says as she hands us both a card with her number. "I best be going, I will tell you about the groups tomorrow, there's a lot to know about this City," she says as she stands up I wave a goodbye to her. After finishing everything we drive home and do a nightly routine and FaceTime parents before going to bed my bedroom is a dark blue colour with a grey carpet covering my ground my bed is a single queens bed with the sheets and pillows consisting of red orange and pink, then we have my closest which is sorta walk in its a white colour and next to it is the door to my bathroom and next to the door is my drawers and on top of my draws is a mirror, beside my bed is a desk where I have my devices and laptop for college there. I look past my devices into the forest behind our house to shadow near the edge of the treelines I look closer I can make out a big wolf like a dire wolf with dark blues stare at me a gasp and step away from the window to catch my breath " what the hell?" I look back to notice it's no longer there, "shit am I hallucinating?" After that thought I go downstairs to see Pheobe humming while feeding her dogs. "Need help or should I busy myself with the birds" I ask with a teasing tone she jumps with a Yelp which makes me start laughing, "Bollocks you bitch!" She hissed before pouting I continue to laugh for a second or two, "go check birds give them pellets or something." She grumbled a nod my head I went to the bird room that is through the lounge room as I open the sliding door to the bird area and go to the cabinets and grab the seed and pellets then start doing my usual which is filling 1 pot with seed and a lovie pellet mix while filling the other with ekkie pellet mix along with a small amount and then filling two other pots with water and putting there pots in the respectable cages, then I check on the birds to see them happily munching away before turning off the light and leaving the room. I continue my way around turning off the lounge room light off I hear the doorbell go before then I hear Pheobe open the door as I enter the entrance to see Pheobe with sonics "can you get the drinks, I also got you a milkshake too since you seem to love them," Pheobe mentions before going to dinning room I go out and grab the cup holders and enter back inside and close the door before heading to the kitchen. After dinner we head to our separate bedrooms and do our night routines.
