Chapter 44: Nigurendayo

Boruto knelt down, his voice echoing telepathically to Ryushin. "Ryushin, on my signal, we make our escape," he whispered urgently.

Ryushin responded through their telepathic connection, "I understand. Your father's friend certainly has quite the determination."

Just then, Chomei, the Seven-Tails, addressed Boruto. "Hey, Boruto, son of Naruto. Your father is requesting your return home," Chomei called out.

Boruto raised an eyebrow and replied, "Nah, but what brings you here, Chomei-san?" He stood up, facing the majestic creature.

Chomei explained, "My home is nearby. Are you truly not considering going back home?"

Boruto smirked confidently and said to Ryushin, "Of course not. See you later, Chomei-san." With that, he gave the signal, "Now."

Ryushin wasted no time and swiftly flew away at top speed.

Seizing the opportunity, Chomei attempted to capture them using one of its tails. However, Boruto used this distraction to his advantage. He deliberately allowed himself to fall downwards.

"Goodbye, Chomei-san," Boruto called out as his right eye began to spin, activating his teleportation ability. In an instant, he vanished, leaving a trail of smoke behind.

Ryushin smirked, his form dissipating into smoke as well, using his own teleportation technique to escape.

Chomei let out a sigh, realizing he had been outmaneuvered. "Looks like I'm not lucky today," Chomei muttered to himself, disappointment evident in its voice. With a shake of its head, the majestic creature flew back to its home.

The onlookers were left confused, wondering why their supposed savior had suddenly fled.

"Tch, he ran away again," Konohamaru muttered, a hint of exasperation in his voice.

In a secluded spot, Mirai, Shion, and Sara found themselves in a tense conversation.

"Why did you do that?" Shion asked, her voice filled with confusion and hurt. "Are you not satisfied with me being the Miko?"

Sara remained silent, her gaze fixed on the ground. The weight of her actions seemed to burden her.

"Please, tell me," Shion pleaded, her voice filled with genuine concern. "I've been doing my best to help you."

Sara finally spoke, her voice tinged with sorrow. "I'm trying to resurrect my child," she confessed, her words heavy with grief.

Shion was taken aback by the revelation, her eyes widening in surprise. Meanwhile, Mirai, who had been silently observing the exchange, was too fatigued and sore to fully comprehend the situation. She focused on getting as much rest as possible, her body in desperate need of recovery.

"Do you truly believe that Moryo will grant you this wish?" Shion asked, her tone laced with skepticism.

Sara sighed, a mix of determination and resignation in her voice. "I have to try, even if the odds are against me," she replied. "But it's okay, I will turn myself in after this. I understand the consequences of my actions."

The weight of Sara's words hung in the air, the gravity of her decision palpable. The three women found themselves in a difficult situation, each grappling with their own emotions and the choices they had made.

The gate of the Land of Demons' capital city,

As the Raidos witnessed Boruto's sudden disappearance through his teleportation technique, a sense of relief washed over them. One of the guards, filled with gratitude, approached Raido and expressed his thanks.

"Thank you," the guard said, his voice filled with genuine appreciation.

Raido smiled, his eyes reflecting a mix of weariness and contentment. "No worries," he replied, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness. "But please, let your boss know that I have made the decision to retire. It's time for me to bid farewell." With those words, Raido transformed into a cloud of smoke, dissipating into thin air.

Moegi, who had been observing the scene, couldn't help but wonder. "Was that a Shadow Clone?" she asked, her voice filled with curiosity.

Udon, standing beside her, leaned in closer and whispered into Moegi's ear. "Do you know who I think that was?" he asked, his voice barely audible.

Moegi's eyes widened with realization, a mixture of surprise and awe washing over her. She nodded in response to Udon's question.

But for Boruto he just arrived in Capital City of Iron.

"Somehow the seal that I made in the past is still in this room. I should change my disguise and find another place to rent but I think I should live in the snow. The snow is north, I think" Boruto said as he changed his disguise to Kratos and leave the place without anyone notice.

Boruto did put another seal somewhere in the alleyway and he began his journey to the snowy plains of Land of Iron.

Naruto couldn't help but facepalm himself in frustration, a deep sigh escaping his lips. "No wonder we haven't been able to find him," he muttered, his voice laced with a mix of exasperation and concern. "He's been hiding in plain sight, even going as far as forging his own identity."

Chomei, the Nine-Tails, expressed his apologies to Naruto. "I'm sorry, Naruto. I've been unable to bring your son back home," he confessed, his voice filled with remorse.

Naruto shook his head, a bittersweet smile playing on his lips. "It's alright," he reassured Chomei, his voice tinged with a sense of relief. "As long as he's safe and living a good life, that's what matters to me."

Kurama, the other half of Naruto's chakra, chimed in with a hint of admiration. "At least he's alive and well," Kurama remarked, his voice carrying a sense of reassurance.

Chomei's voice held a note of admiration as he spoke about Naruto's son. "Naruto, your son is incredibly strong for his age," he acknowledged, his words filled with awe.

Naruto nodded, pride evident in his voice. "Yeah, he is. I have no doubt that he's been training hard during these past few years," he replied, his voice brimming with confidence and parental pride.

In the aftermath of the intense battle, Konohamaru, Moegi, Udon, and Mirai stood together, bidding farewell to Shion. As they exchanged parting words, Konohamaru couldn't help but share his suspicions with his fellow shinobi.

"Boruto was here," Konohamaru whispered, his voice filled with a mix of concern and determination.

Moegi nodded in agreement, her eyes scanning their surroundings. "We believe so," she replied, her voice barely audible.

Udon, ever the strategist, suggested a plan of action. "Should we conduct a thorough search of the city?" he asked, his voice filled with a sense of urgency.

Konohamaru shook his head, a knowing smile on his face. "No, I know Boruto. He's smart. I'm certain he's already left the country," he stated confidently, his voice tinged with a hint of pride.

Just as the three were engrossed in their discussion, Mirai approached them, curiosity evident in her eyes. "What are you guys talking about?" she inquired, her voice filled with genuine interest.

Moegi quickly came to their rescue, coming up with a plausible explanation. "Oh, we're just trying to decide who should write the mission report," she replied smoothly, saving them from further questioning.

Moegi couldn't contain her excitement any longer and revealed the truth. "By the way, I found Boruto," she admitted, a mischievous grin on her face.

Konohamaru's eyes widened with anticipation. "Then?" he prompted, eager to hear more.

Mirai, unaware of the situation, shared her encounter with Boruto. "I may have unknowingly disrupted his undercover mission, as he came to my rescue. He's incredibly strong for a Genin," she revealed, oblivious to the relief and pride that washed over Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon.

The three of them exchanged smiles, grateful that Mirai remained unaware of the true nature of Boruto's mission. With renewed determination, they vowed to support their young comrade from the shadows, ensuring his safety and success.

As the conversation continued, Moegi approached Mirai with a mischievous smile and gently patted her shoulder. "And we think we have an idea of who should write the report," she said, her voice filled with a playful tone.

Mirai looked at her in surprise. "Me? Why me?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

Moegi couldn't contain her laughter as she revealed the reason behind their decision. "Well, you did unknowingly disturb Boruto's mission," she explained, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Mirai's jaw dropped in disbelief. "Ehh!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with a mix of shock and embarrassment.

The rest of the group couldn't help but chuckle at Mirai's reaction, finding amusement in her unexpected involvement in Boruto's mission. Their laughter filled the air, creating a light-hearted atmosphere amidst the seriousness of their ninja duties.

....

In the vast expanse of the North Land of Iron, where snow-covered mountains stretched as far as the eye could see, Boruto trudged forward with determination, his body battling against the biting cold. The heavy storm raged around him, the wind howling through the narrow mountain pass, threatening to throw him off balance.

"Damn, this place is colder than anything I've ever experienced," Boruto muttered through chattering teeth, his breath forming small clouds in front of him. Despite the freezing temperatures, his body fought against the hypothermia, thanks to his regenerative abilities as a shinobi.

"Thank goodness for this Jutsu," Boruto thought to himself, his voice muffled by the cloak. "But seriously, this place is cold as shit. I should have worn more layers," he grumbled, feeling the icy sting of the wind against his exposed skin.

With each step, Boruto's determination grew stronger. He knew he had to find shelter soon if he wanted to continue his training. His eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for any sign of a cave or shelter that could provide him with some respite from the relentless storm.

"I need to find some kind of cave," Boruto said aloud, his voice barely audible over the howling wind. "Once I find a safe spot, I can start my training and make the most of this harsh environment."

Undeterred by the freezing temperatures and the unforgiving nature of the North Land of Iron, Boruto pushed forward, his resolve unwavering.
