24 Chapter 21 Trip prep

Well with my future being going to space in the next couple days with them preparing to pick me up I had to pack away a few days' worth of food to take with me as I am sure they certainly won't have any for me up there.

"Jake, why are you making a dozen sandwiches?" A2 more complained than asked as she was still salty about me wanting to fight but I was already making plans on fighting several androids at once to prove I was capable of defending myself.

Either way, that is a plan for after I get back from the YoRHa station.

"I am pre-making some food for when I go to the station that way, I don't have to pack a bunch of ingredients and waste space," I explained making an A2 nod, but I could see something was eating at her, so I asked what was wrong.

"A2 what's on your mind?" I questioned.

She sighed and shook her head with a helpless expression. "I certainly won't be welcome nor allowed onto the station with my current status."

"Do you want me to bring you with, or would you prefer to stay here? I mean you don't have anything to worry about should you be with me at all times should we go there." I asked A2 and she simply shook her head in denial.

"No, I will stay here and watch the bunker with the twins as they also won't be leaving as they are also not really welcome." She explained.

I finished making my food and otherwise packing some stuff for me to be comfortable in the space station for a few days.

"Well let's go watch a good movie to go relax." I then pushed the clearly bemused A2 back to the couch and went to put in the movie that describes men to a T.

The twins came in the bunker from outside hearing me put on a movie as they liked to be outside rather than the dark bunker which I didn't begrudge them even if I couldn't stand being outside all day in that depressing constantly dim sunlight.

"So, what movie are you putting on Jake?"

I decided to play a kinda funny joke and play I Robot and boy was that a mistake as on more than one question I was questioned if I was feeling sympathy towards Machine Lifeforms even though they actually did like Sonny and seeing the AI who made the robots go crazy made me wonder something. "Hey, where are the machine's lifeforms central servers?"

A2 shrugged. "I am not sure but there has been word about aberrations in the machines in the area and that's why I have traveled here."

Fair point and more than likely I wouldn't be surprised if they were underwater or impossibly deep underground so it's not like I will be able to storm a fortified castle and just destroy the machine hive mind or whatever.
