Chapter 52 Awesome (Rewritten)

The thunder crackled, and divine energy surged around Stephen.

Ares, now solely the God of War, possesses the characteristics and strength to strike Diana, the Godkiller, incapacitating her. This explains his sudden appearance on Paradise Island, his audacious actions, and his knowledge of the god killer.

His purpose here is to kill Diana!

As Diana is a god killer, only she can kill Ares!

"No, I will never let you harm Diana!" Hippolyta shouted, rising to her feet, grabbing a sword from the side, and charging towards Stephen.

Stephen turned his head towards her and then glanced at his finger, moving it lightly.

Divine power instantly struck Hippolyta with thunder, causing her to scream and fall to the ground.

"Mother!" Diana rose with clenched fists, filled with anger. She leaped up and charged towards Stephen once again, letting out a battle cry. Simultaneously, Antiope, who had been previously shot down, picked up a sword and rushed from another direction.

Sizzle, sizzle.

Crackling sounds filled the air, growing more rapid and intense.

[Unlimited stacking, tenfold.]

"Why not take a nap for me!" Stephen yelled, releasing a dazzling light that dimmed the sun. The mighty divine power and thunder reverberated in all directions from his center.

In an instant, Antiope and Diana were both shocked and sent flying.

Boom! Boom!

They crashed to the ground, unconscious.

The powerful waves seemed to travel onward, sweeping away after an immense shockwave. The cliff crumbled instantly, but the impact didn't cease; instead, it surged towards the depths of Paradise Island. Smoke enveloped the sky as collapses and screams echoed from the distant island.

It took a while for the tremors and cries to gradually subside. From a distance, almost one-third of Paradise Island lay in ruins.

"This feels so exhilarating!"

Stephen looked down at his hands shimmering with divine power and lightning. The violent excitement was so overwhelming that he felt an urge to destroy everything. No wonder Hippolyta had hesitated to reveal Diana's true identity. Without firm belief and will, it would be easy to be consumed by this force. The old gods of Olympus are unfathomable and terrifying, performing their actions one by one.

After reveling in his power several times, Stephen's gaze regained clarity, and he surveyed his surroundings in search of further amusement.

As he looked up and around, observing the flattened cliff, the chaotic beach, and the fallen Amazons, Stephen thought about how the Legends of Tomorrow team would regret their return when they witnessed this scene.

The time discrepancy of the Birds of Prey team had yet to be resolved. Now, however, a more significant temporal disturbance had occurred. Nevertheless, the events on Paradise Island should not affect the outside world, except for the future in which Steve Trevor would depart from Paradise Island and, alongside Diana the Wonder Woman, defeat the God of War, Ares.

Stephen found Diana amidst the ruins of the beach, with Antiope and Hippolyta. Antiope had suffered serious injuries, while the mother and daughter had fallen unconscious due to the shock. Undoubtedly, their armor had been shattered by the impact of divine power, and according to Amazonian tradition...

"It truly is Paradise Island. No wonder in the comics, Hercules imprisoned them and turned them into slaves rather than killing them," Stephen muttered. His fingertips suddenly lit up with electric sparks, which transformed into ropes, binding the three of them and dragging them inside Paradise Island.

As Stephen brought the three most crucial individuals from Paradise Island to the Amazonian residence, half of the buildings there had been destroyed by the recent divine impact.

"Who is that?"

"It's the queen."

"And the general and Diana."

The nearby Amazons quickly discovered Stephen alongside their queen, general, and princess. A gasp of astonishment filled the air—some seemed shocked by the turn of events, while others bravely rushed forward to rescue the queen and defeat the enemy.

Stephen's footsteps didn't falter or change direction. As these individuals rushed toward him, several electric currents and supernatural powers surged from his body.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

They fell one by one in Stephen's path. He didn't stop, stepping over their bodies and continuing forward. Stephen noticed a group of guards approaching from a distance.

"Release them!"

A female soldier positioned at the forefront of the guards shouted sharply.

"What is your name?" Stephen paused and inquired.

"Menalippe, deputy general of Paradise Island."

"Go and save your people. If you're fast enough, some of them might survive. Try to stop me, and you'll witness the deaths of your queen, your general, and all your people, including...the residents of Paradise Island." Stephen lightly stomped his foot.

With that stomp, divine power surged into the ground.

From Stephen's position, a crack suddenly appeared and rapidly spread towards them.

A rumble resounded as Menalippe, who had finally regained her balance, furrowed her brow with a conflicted expression and gritted her teeth as Stephen continued walking towards the palace.

"First, tend to those injured people. You should all go and save them."

OMG!!! Did he take/kidnap three girls into the palace? What is he trying to pull out of it?
