The right decision?

Waking up to the schools famous tacos was the best thing after exhausting all his strength and Carol made him more then everybody else he got four while everyone else got two," I feel a little special." He thought with a smile.

After eating his food he decided to wash up the best he could which meant he got naked in the back of the cafeteria luckily Carol was done cooking so she was with everyone else. so he washed his clothes in the sink ringing out all the blood he could when done he noticed his close were stained red. He didn't mind it, he thought it might make him more intimidating.

Walking out from the back of the cafeteria with cloths on red as blood and a little damp everyone looked his way, he didn't mind at all because he needed their attention because it was time for his speech.

"Welcome survivors I am you're savior, you all are safe now, the school is going to take some cleaning. I've killed 393 zombies and I don't know how manny zombies are left but this place could be a fortress it's up to you to claim it however."

"I'm going on my way and I'm taking a little crew with me I'm not taking more then 9 people and 2 have a guaranteed spot if they want it so maybe just 7 so the people who don't have anyone lift and are willing to follow my lead and be ready to kill."

"I'll let you think about it I have a couple of things to pack you only have 15 minutes and I'm leaving with or without you." He stated while walking back to the back of the cafeteria to pack food in Carol's mini van. surprisingly the school had a couple canned food decided that would be the best thing to pack.

The group had no idea what Jackson was doing in the back but some people had their own opinion and started voicing them. The female teacher with the gun decided to speak up, "that guy is right this place is a fortress and he cleared most of the place out this place can be a sanctuary with a little work. I'm staying If he killed 393 of them how manny can be left right?"

Most of the people, mainly students and the two teachers that were with her from the start were already on her side. But a lot of people had family's to go home to so some just left without saying a word.

Fred was sitting alone waiting for Jackson to come back when Lori approached him.

"I'm guessing your going with him? I don't blame you that guy is more reliable than a loaded gun." She muttered with a sigh rubbing her hands together.

"Of course I'm going to be wherever Jackson is, I have nothing In this word besides a bed at a orphanage so I think following him will be the most fun. Are you not coming?" He asked nonchalantly.

Lori was not ready to hear Fred's past, she didn't know Fred even though they were in the same class she never talked to him.

She seen the way he treated people he pushed them away before they got to close. "I don't know honestly, strength in numbers right? but that guy he killed so manny by himself so I don't know if that's true anymore. I would like to go but I don't want to be a liability." She explained timely.

"Well it's hard to have courage especially when death looks you in the face, but know this in every single one of the zombie movies I've watched the weak die, the strong get stronger and hesitation gets you killed, just remember that if you don't come with." He said in a hard tone that he didn't know he used.

Lori was stunned at his comment she didn't expect something like that from the weak Fred but she didn't have time to reply Jackson came back in the room announcing that he was leaving. 4 people besides Fred walked up to Jackson.

"I need you to introduce yourself and tell me if you have any skills that might come in handy. Then we'll head out." He stated as they all stood there waiting for the first to introduce themselves.

First to walk up was a 5ft tall girl with red hair and a b cup chest "my name is jasmine,my dad taught me how to shoot a handgun before he died" she answered awkwardly.

The next person was a 5.11 boy with black and a slim frame named Jake "Im good with Technology but besides that not much" He mumbled just loud enough for Jackson to here.

Next up was another boy 6ft tall with Orange hair and a bulky body named mark "I'm the captain of the wrestling team so I'm good in a fight but besides that nothing at all" he answered while chuckling and scathing the back of his head. This made Jackson nod in approval.

Lastly was another female 5.9 with blonde hair and a busty chest it was nun other then Jessica moonlight, "sorry to say I'm not good at much that will be of help now, but I want to survive and I know you can teach me Jackson." She stated confidently.

"Of course I can teach all of you but it's not if I can teach it's if you can learn. Now following me we have places to be before the sun goes down." He ordered walking away not giving anyone another look.

The group followed Jackson out to the van to see Carol already waiting. Jackson introduced his new crew to Carol then they slowly rolled up to the front of the gate to stop Carol asked, "so any place in mind?"

Jackson spoke up, "I think we should go to the Home Depot around the block it will be hard to get by without stable weapons." The group agreed and Carol pressed a button on a remote making the gate open.

Jackson quickly grabbed the remote and tossed it out the window Carol didn't mind he probably wanted the group at the school to have it she thought.

She was right, right after two of the people from the school ran one grabbing the remote while the other ran to the passenger side window it was Lori, Jackson rolled down the window.

"Is it to late to join you guys?" She asked with a worried expression.

"Of course not, hop in already." He answered with a smile he had a feeling she would come around.

Lori sat next to Fred with a big smile he was in the front row. In the back was Jackson sitting alone looking out the window in the second to last row was mark laying down trying to take a nap. While jasmine and Jessica were looking out the window sitting behind Fred.

The ride was anything but calm the sidewalk had crashed cars with the dead still suck inside. Driving down the road wasn't difficult but the site was, it was nothing but bodies on the side of the road with crashed cars in burning building.

Everyone stopped looking out the windows But Jackson was prepared to see this, he always loved zombie moves he probably seen more then Fred in that regard, so he kind of expected the roads to be blocked as well but fortunately the roads were clear enough to drive through.

After driving on the main roads for 5 minutes there was a car blocking the road but to there luck they could move the car and keep going.

Jackson opened the door of the car without saying a word walking up the the car putting it in gear and tied driving it for him to realize the car gas was stolen.

With a sigh he got out the car and began pushing the car out the way by himself it only took a few pushes to move the car out the way. Walking back to the van getting in for them to move out as quickly as possible.

Everyone in the vehicle was speechless he got out the car like it was nothing not even looking around even moving the car by himself.

Mark was the one to speak, "hay you know I could of helped if you asked". Jackson replied with, "you guys are not ready yet, I have faith I'm my martial arts training without a weapon I wouldn't want anyone to get hurt. I thought it was best to go by myself but next till I'll ask I just figured no one wanted to get out without protection that's all."

This made everyone in the group realize he didn't get out for himself but to make sure they were all safe, they respected that.

Mark decided to speak up once again, "I'm sure we all appreciate your kindness but I don't need your protection, I came with you because I know you of all people can carry there weight and then some. I just wanted to let you know I plan on carrying own so if you need me to do something ask."

This made Jackson smile "this guy get's it." He answered back in a deeper voice then he meant to, "that's good that's exactly what I like to here I'll make sure to make my actions more vocal next time."

His voice was as cold as ice making the group shiver and everyone silent listening to the radios emergency broadcast.

"Attention everyone stay in doors and barricade any entrance or exits, do not leave your home this is a state emergency the infection is spreading through bites and scratches do not get infected there is NO cure I repeat NO cure."

Jackson's crew was losing morale while driving the lifeless roads hearing gun shots and explosions on the other side of the city so Jackson spoke up to sooth there fears.

"Some of you might start feeling discouraged when looking at the new word. But unfortunately this is how it is so get a good look because it will probably never go back to what it use to be. It could be worse, How you ask because those gun shots and explosions are attracting all the dead in the city imagine being in those idiots. Because of those idiots we have a break from the dead." Jackson announced like they needed to here it

Everybody in the car listening to every word Jackson had to say even though they didn't want to here it. They needed to here it some of them cried softly while remember the good times in there life. The last part rose there spirits a little they haven't seen a zombie since they left the school and now they know why.

Carol started crying a little bit not enough to hear but there was tears running down here face Jackson seen this, "do you want to pull over for a minute?" He asked her in a soft gentle tone.

"I'm fine thank you I'm just trying to think of where my daughter is right now, she moved far away from me, she hates me and I doubt she would even want to see me at the end of the word." She replayed back still with tears running down her face.

Pulling up in front of Home Depot to see car crashed right in the side of it with 27 of the undead walking around. Jackson already had a plan in mind he's been to the store multiple times for his dojo master so he knew where the best weapons were.

"Alright people this is where show me what you got the plan is simple but dangerous, we break open the window on the far left side of the building. right on the other side of that window is the hand tools section we're there's axis, pickaxes, all sorts of weapons to pick from the plan is to get the weapons and clear out the dead. If you have a better plan let's hear it." He asked knowing no one did.

The group didn't like the plan especially Carol so she spoke up in a shaky voice, "do you mean me to? I already told you I can't fight those things." Jackson replayed with a chuckle slowly becoming laughter then he finally replayed.

"No I didn't mean you Carol you can stay here. but know I'm not going to protect you forever I can't be everywhere at once so if you want to live you WILL have to get over your gore problem because that's a you problem not my problem."

Carol wasn't ready for his mean comment but she knew he was right looking at the roads here and hearing the gun shots and explosions in the distance made everything all to real.

Jasmine was the next to speak up, "I'm not good at killing and I know I have to but I have a plan if your willing to listen" she asked while looking at the floor.

"I'm not going to force no one to kill anything against their will that's why I said I'll teach you if your willing to learn. As for that plan I would love to here it jasmine" Jackson replied with a smile.

She wasn't ready for Jackson to listen or actually be nice to her so she spoke with confidence. "The plan I have is I distract the zombies by yelling at them and leading them away while you guys go through the front door without making a sound."

"I know this plan sounds risky but I'm a track and field star so I have the stamina to stay at a distance and when you guys are done you can just drive over and pick me up." She explained with a bright smile

"That is a pretty good plan so if your willing to put yourself on the spot like that by all means. but a word of advice no matter how fast you are if they grab you they are not letting go." He suggested in a almost demanding tone.

Jasmine was taken aback for a second no one really listen to her words but Jackson did so took his advice to heart. Jasmine not waiting for anyone's permission she got out he van and started calling the zombies mean names getting their attention easily.

With 27 zombies following jasmine into the parking lot away from the van and store Jackson's and the two other boys moved inside the Home Depot.

Going through the front door to here a bell go off almost making Jackson and his crew jump out there skin. Jackson murdered, "shit I forgot about that." Quickly propping the door open with a chair and running to the hand tool section to see everything they could possibly need.

Looking through the vast options Jackson found the perfect weapons, he grabbed five 3/8 12in flat head screwdrivers two for himself and one each for the lady's.

Fred following Jacksons lead also grabbed the same screwdrivers. Mark found his weapons of choice having two short axes. Jake was having a rough time trying to find the best weapon but he decided on a short pickaxe.

Jackson told the rest to head back to the van and get jasmine while he went to find some very useful tools and accessories. the first was 8 of the 30 liter tactical military backpack one for everyone.

Next was bolt cutters for obvious reasons, lastly was sharping stones he grabbed as manny as he could (8) before he heard Carol pull up to the front of the store.

Rushing out to the van with both hands filled with backpacks and one on his back. the back door of the van opened up so Jackson threw all the bags in the back and kept his on his back and got into the passenger seat.

"that was a fun Is everyone alright." He asked while looking at everyone.

Everyone nodded back. Carol was slowly driving around the parking lot to stay way from the zombies while they figured out a plan.

"I honestly don't know what would be the best place to go next, I don't know where a gun store or gun range is or I would of already suggest we go there anyone know where one is?" Jackson asked looking around.

The group was quite for a bit then jasmine decided to speak up, "I know where some guns are but he might still be alive so maybe not." This made Jackson raise a eyebrow, "do tell jasmine I'm really curious now" Jasmine stumbled on her words a little, "m..my u..uncle owns a lot of guns and he's x military but he and my dad never got along well so I don't know if he will be happy to see me." She answer with her head down looking at the floor.

"That doesn't matter anymore if anyone of my family was still alive. I would forgive them if they walked up to me asking for help we just have to hope he's a good guy, worst case scenario we leave and find a different place so where's this uncle of yours live?" Jackson asked not looking back at jasmine.

"He actually lives right around the corner 10 minutes up the road." She stated casually.

So they were off to jasmine's uncles house.
