9 Shamelessness is the way.

The two children and four adults reunited, the two family seated themselves in front of each other and just chat while eating the food they had respectively brought to the picnic.

The adults mostly talked between themselves and the same thing was going on with the two toddlers.

At least until the inevitable topic of their own childs came into the adults conversation.

"We were initially not sure about sending Julian to elementary school, but we decided he should go in the end for a more healthy childhood and his social upbringing." Kassidy said while sipping from an non-alcoholic apple cider.

Gorou and Miki frowned a little in confusion, the former asking what was on both of their minds. "Oh, and why would you think that little Julian shouldn't go to elementary school?"

Julian's parents gazes met each other for a moment, before Jacob spoke up. "Well, we weren't even sure if Julian had any need for elementary school at all. After all, Julian already got basic mathemathics down perfectly and even learned how to perfectly read, write, and speak Japanese as well as English."

The Hyoudou couple's mouth opened slightly in disbelief, their gazes a little doubtfull of the information they just received. A two years old child having totally mastered not one but two languages? This was hard to believe for them, even more when it was their neighbor's child they were talking about.

"I'm sorry to doubt your words, but you have to see that it's hard to just believe that Julian have completely learned Japanese through just the words of his own parents. If you don't find it too rude, could I ask some questions to Julian to see if things are indeed as you say?" Gorou asked, not sure if it was just them overly boasting about their son. If they were, then he could totally understand the sentiment because he too would some times exagerate Issei awesomeness to other people.

"Sure, go ahead/do as you please." Both Kassidy and Jacob said at the same time. Not minding the Hyoudou doubts of their words. After all, they too were doubting the world when they had first dicovered Julian monstrous ease for learning things.

"Okay then, little Julian. Could you write me this kanji..."

Julian, having paid attention to the adults conversation since the beginning, and absentmindly chatting with Issei about two years old things. Easily answered Gorou first question.

The latter then proceeded to ask more and more difficult question in both Japanese and English, sometime sneaking math questions as well.

Each questions took less than five seconds for Julian to solve them. Gaining a awed and thoroughly convinced expression from both Gorou and Miki.

"Wow, with this kind of learning ability, nothing would be impossible for him. I'm truly sorry to have doubted your words you two. Speaking of his learning ability, do you have any particular futur plans or idea for Julian?" Gorou asked.Since a few years ago, him and his wife knew the other couple due to them meeting Kassidy and Jacob frequently in the convenience store nearby their home. The Marquis couple broke the ice with them in asking the Hyoudou one question in perfect Japanese about the location of the various shops in Kuoh. Despite the Marquis rather eccentric personalities, they had kick it off since they were good people. Hence why Gorou was on a first name basis with them.

The said Marquis couple, Kassidy Marquis and Jacob Marquis, shrugged Gorou apology off sheepishly, while Kassidy answered. "Don't mind it, and no. We haven't made any plans for Julian because we want him to choose himself. We will just support him in whatever he want to do. We'll just continue to teach him whatever we can teach him because we never know if Julian current genius is due to him having the amplified ability of a toddler, causing him to absorb new things around him like a sponge, including our teachings.

This made the two adults Hyoudou nod in understanding, Miki was the one to state. "That's good, we would have done the same if it was Issei."

With that, the two family carried on their meal. Afterward, they cleaned themselves up, left the park and then walked together to their respective houses.

"We should do something like that again sometimes, what about we do that once a month from now on? What do you two think?" Kassidy asked to her neighbors when they had reached home.

The normal couple in their thirties nodded and agreed. "Yes, it was fun to be in your company, it changes from my serious and tired coworkers. Also Jacob, your dishes were good, you are a great cook." A quick glance from his wife made Gorou rapidly add an afterthought. "Of course, not as good as my wife but still great."

Saying their goodbyes to each others, the Marquis and the Hyoudou finally separated from each other and entered into their home.

As for Julian, he was currently thinking in depth about what he wanted to do in this world. It was good and all to just follow the flow and see where it leads him but first, it wasn't really his style and second, he wanted to feel and live something interesting and new. He couldn't just throw himself in it and hoped not to die, he wasn't part of the plot of the world, so he wasn't protected by the holy plot armor like Issei or any characters related to him was.

He needed a goal that could achieve all of his wants at once, his yearning for genuine relationships, adventure, and challenges.

Thinking for a few seconds inside of his craddle since it was dodo time, Julian got to a cliché and simple answer that could fill every one of his wants.

This answer was to become the strongest. In his road to the top, he would surely meet countless people who would become either his friends or his enemies. He would also certainly get the challenges and the adventure he so wanted. All with this simple yet all-emcompassing goal.

Now was the how he was going to go about it, if he didn't want to be oofed out of existence by some douche he needed someone that could back him up until he could defend himself properly. Fortunately, he had already some idea about it.

Playing or rather practicing with his demonic and holy power, Julian allowed a contented expression to appear on his face.

'School eh? Be a long time since I was in one. Literally a lifetime ago.' It was with this thought and thinking about what this world had to offer him in the future, that Julian fell asleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-Three years later.
Julian was now five years old and had just gone through his first day of school. Needless to say, it was quite the ride with his and Issei's parents having contradictory attitudes in the background. The former just chilling and cheering for him and the latter being a nervous wreck for nothing. Causing Issei to be embarassed each times he was asked if they were his parents.
The school he was going to was the elementary division of Kuoh accademy. There was no sign of any member of the main cast yet besides Irina, as well as some of Sona's future peerage like Momo Hanakai, Reya Kusaka and Tsubasa Yura. Something normal as these girls were normal humans before being reincarnated as devils.
Of course, and something that wasn't shown in the anime, there wasn't only one high school in all of Kuoh. As there were not only one elementary and middle school in it as well. Something that made naming this school as well as a middle and high school after the city itself confusing and dumb.
Julian was currently inspecting himself in his bathroom's mirror as he remarked the change to his appearance compared to his old self.
He had a head of blond hair with the tips ending in a scarlet tone. As for his eyes they were ocean-colored with a pool of bright red blood around his pupil.
He could directly see the theoritical resemblance to his biological parents, the red tip of his hair and his blue eyes coming from Sirzechs, and his blond hair coming from his archangel mother.
He could guess that he would be a stunner when he grew up, something to be expected as he was a supernatural being.
Finishing his comparaison of his new look to his old one, he prepared himself to go to his Karate practice. Since he was what his parents considered an acceptable age. He began to enroll to all the martial arts course he could, dragging Issei into it too. He was not difficult to convince, he just had to say that practicing martial arts made them cool, thus making them cooler in the eyes of girls, and being cooler equaled to getting more boobs when they were grown up and bam. Issei was totally hooked.
A year ago, he was invited by the Hyoudou and Issei himself to go visit his grandfather with them. Something which he readily agreed to. He had wanted to hear the magical story that made Issei into a boobs addict in canon himself. All he had to say after hearing them was that the old man had a way to tell a story as if it was real. Which it maybe was.
It was pretty funny when he had butted head with Juzo about whether breasts or butts were better. Him insisting on the latter, it was a pretty decent fight but Julian had won on the logical side of the debate, but both sides agreed in the end that it was just a matter of personal taste. Issei meanwhile had just stared in awe at them as if he was seeing two sages arguing on the meaning of life. But even after his steel-clad points the little bastard still claimed that boobs were better than asses.
As for Irina's deal, she had appeared in his and Issei's life two years ago during their monthly picnic. In the form of a seemingly young boy with chestnut hair and violet eyes that, after a session of seeing him and Issei playing soccer with the other children of the the park, followed them around for the rest of the picnic duration. His, or rather her parents even introduced themselves to theirs when they saw the interest she had in befriending us.
She was currently studying in the same school as them, and while Julian had to say that it was really not that evident to notice that she was a girl. Issei mocking her for having a girly first name was really hilarious. In the first place, she had never rectified him that she wasn't a boy but a girl. Something she seemed to not care about. As for him, he never rectified Issei because he found it funny.
It was still fun to have her around, she was a shot of cafeine in his rather laid-back personality and Issei rather quiet one.
Anyway, if his estimates are correct. Then she would leave them in two years with to go abroad with her family. Something that made him feel rather complicated but not affected him too much overall since he knew that they would see each other again, even if in a long time.
"Juju! We'll be late for your practice if you don't speed up!" Julian heard his mom call him out.
"Coming, mommy." Yeah, he was calling his mom, mommy. Again, Julian just Didn't give a fuck.
