4 4. ogre_1 should not be humanized

Upon hearing the bone chilling scream, Az was able to free himself from Otaz's hands, but ogre_1 was gone. Instead, fine white powder lied on the ground.

"It-It was just following orders," Az stuttered, tears welling up in his eyes, as he looked at the fine powder. The familiar smell of decay filled his nostrils and he tasted the metallic tang of fear on his tongue.

Ogron sighed, and knelt in front of the remains. "Az, I understand your sadness. However, ogre_1 should not be humanized. That thing was a danger to you. It was incapable of understanding the consequences of its action. As your servants, it is our duty to protect you, even if it meant making a difficult decision."

Otaz nodded in agreement, his usual excitement and enthusiasm gone. "It is a hard lesson, but it is important to remember that not all minions are capable of serving. Some are simply too stupid to be trusted with such a role."

Az nodded, still feeling upset but understanding the reasoning behind their action.

Seeing his emotions, Ogron sighed. "Anyway, the ogre wanted to be useful after his death, so here is a present for you."

The fine powder flew towards Az, like a magnet and formed a chest piece, that protected his back, chest and stomach area. It then hardened, fitting tightly and weighing heavily, yet still being flexible.

"Thanks, ogre_1," Az whispered quietly, as he tried moving in that armor piece.

As for the leftovers, Ogron gifted them to Otaz, mending some of the cracks his bones.

A couple of days later, the three of them halted in front of a thick old tree that was around 3 meters in diameter.

Confused, Az whispered, "I'm pretty sure that this is not a grave."

Neither of the two skeletons said anything, and Otaz jumped off his rotten horse and unsheathed a rusting ax. "Lemme prove you wrong master," he chuckled before swinging his ax with such strength that the tree split in half, revealing a skull.

At first glance, it looked like it once belonged to that of a human. But the more Az examined it, the more confused he got, as the shapes for the eye socket were slightly off and the skull was less "wide."

"Strange… this doesn't look like a human skull," Az commented quietly, and Ogron replied, "that's because it's from an elf."

"Elf? Is it an animal like wolves or rats?" Az asked in confusion while also feeling a tinge of embarrassment.

Before Ogron could give a stupid comment, Otaz stated, "Imagine us, with sharp ears, Asian eyes, while also being arrogant, prententious, and tree hugging. They also don't like us, and put a lot of emphasis on racial purity."

"Yeah fuck them. I don't like the person you're describing either," Az admitted, and the two of them chuckled.

"They are crazy in be-" before Ogron could however continue, Otaz cleared his throat loudly, while glaring at the former in disgust.

"Stop looking at me like that. Besides, the kid has seen quite a lot of things already," Ogron sighed and Otaz moved his attention back to Az.

"Anyway, elves are quite strong, so they are still useful," Otaz explained before gracefully offering the skull to Az.

Az gently leaned over his skeleton horse and placed hsi fingers on its forehead before muttering, "Awaken."

The skull immediately began to shake violently and fell out of Otaz's hand before floating back to the tree.

Loud cracking noises came out of the tree as the skeleton slowly assembled in midair, and even though it did not utter a single word, it was clear that it wasn't happy about what was happening.

"I think we angered it," Az whispered quietly, and Ogron jumped out of his horse, holding a rusted iron spear.

"WHO of you insects destroyed my grave!?!?" A feminine voice filled with fury roared, as a beautiful, two meter tall skeleton gracefully landed onto the tree. Her gaze immediately moved to Az, and her tone grew milder, "It was not you child, right? Wait a child summoned me!?"

But what surprised Az the most was, that the skeleton had a blue core in its chest, that glowed brightly.

Otaz immediately positioned himself in front of Az, and pointed at Ogron, saying, "that man was it."

Ogron, in confusion nodded. "Yes I was it. What did I do?"

The elf skeleton glared at Ogron before hissing, "You dared to descrate my grave? Do you know how proud I was about that tree!?"

Ogron remained unperturbed and calmly stated, "Yes and?"

The feminine skeleton immediately began to tremble and out of her mana core, blue mana flowed to her palm forming a bow. "I- I will destroy you, before returning back to-,"

But before she could finish her sentence, Ogron threw his rusting spear with such a force that the skeleton flew like a ragdoll through the forest, before getting nailed against a giant tree.

"I don't think you have any chances of destroying me," Ogron stated, appearing in front of the frightened skeleton that had a spear embedded in her scapula (flat bone on your shoulder behind your ribcase)

But the skeleton only snickered, as she ripped out the spear, only for Ogron to immediately stomp onto her skull before grabbing her by her throat like a mere puppet. "Swear loyalty to that kid," Ogron coldly stated before saying, "otherwise…" in a threatening tone.

"Otherwise what," the latter replied mockingly, only for Ogron to grab her mana core floating behind her rib case.

"Stop!" the latter immediately turned serious before sighing, "I, Simaev, am willing to swear loyalty to a human under one condition…"

"And that is?" Ogron calmly asked, his hand was still holding the latter's mana core tightly.

"That I am allowed to attack you once a day, and if I ever win, your master has to relieve me from my duty," Simaev replied mockingly, only for Ogron to break into laughter before letting go of her spine.

"I'm fine with that," he sighed before turning his back towards her. "Foll-"
