27 Chapter 27: Another encounter

The ghost monster screamed a squeak and swung its claw towards Seiya.
If it was previous Seiya then he would have been scared like a cat but he now had high wisdom, intelligence, and luck coupled with mental resistance so it didn't take him long to duck the attack and roll to a distance.
The claw was so strong that it cut the mirror into pieces.
'The heck! Are ghosts in this world that strong? And isn't that the ghost monster from FGO?' Seiya gritted his teeth and analyzed the demonic ghost coming after him.
Considering it was an anime mashup world, he decided to ignore the useless thought if he would face other similar monsters as he now had a monster to face.
He knew that he was in a tough situation as even his appraisal ability isn't working on the ghost.

The ghost screamed again that halted Seiya's moments for a second.
'What the hell is happening?!' Seiya thought since he couldn't just move his body. He barely moved before because of his luck and mental resistance but now it seemed like that screaming was affecting him with some kind of debuff.
Fear.
That must be the case as it causes defense down.
"No time to relax." Seiya thought and then pulled a long knife from his Inventory.
Seiya was going to fight the ghost. He won't be a coward anymore. A chance of running away is high but there is no way he is going to take a chance if that freaking ghost chases him all the way to his home.
As for the ghost, he noticed that from its moments, the ghost was slow but sometimes it increases its speed if he creates too much distance. So he made sure to maintain the distance of at least 8 meters.
Now next question was how to face the demonic ghost.
Remember, he was not a fighter. He never ever defended himself in any fight so he didn't know a thing how to fight a person let alone face such a bizarre creature.
However, he was not a pussy that he used to be. He now had cheats and he knew how to use them.
First, he used Exercise to level up Mental Resistance since the ghost's scream was enough to test his skill. Even though it was not severe, it was high enough to level his Mental Resistance from Advance to Expert after running and receiving the Fear debuff for 15 minutes.
"Now it's time to use points," Seiya smirked and opened the skill window.
First, he used 100 system points to level up Mental Resistance from Expert grade to Invincible. Even though it was not a very practical skill, he wanted to confront the ghost without any fear.
Now next he used the subject Mathematics to upgrade it from Expert to Invincible. Why Mathematics? Because now he could accurately calculate this creature's movements very clearly.
These two skills were enough for him to face this creature.
"Now, time to face this scary Casper," Seiya smirked and took a stance.

The ghost screamed but he remained unfazed. Now, these cheap tricks can't do shit to him.
He then switched his Mystic Eyes. Just as he did so, he could see a faint orb in the center of the ghost's rib cage.
And so, without waiting for another second, Seiya charged straight with the knife in his hand.

The ghost also screamed and flew towards Seiya and as they got closer, the ghost swung its claws but Seiya dodged and thrust the knife into that specific glowing orb.
"…"
Silence prevailed until the ghost disappeared into particles. Everything that happened just took mere 3 seconds for Seiya to finish the job.
Seiya smiled and then deactivated his mystic eye. It was his first fight, with supernatural on that, but he emerged victoriously.
"Tch. I can't believe that I was scared to fight these monsters." Seiya smirked and shook his head. Now in addition to being handsome and intelligent, he was now very strong too. Speaking of Intelligence, his INT also soared with 25 points. He was surely a cheat.
Although the system doesn't provide any stat point, it does have a skill level system where his stats increase automatically with his skills.
Buts cost is high. 200 system points went away just to defeat a ghost.
"Hmm, what's that?" He noticed something that the ghost had dropped. It was marble with a faint white glow.
He scratched his head and used [Appraisal] but nothing showed up. For now, he decided to store it in his inventory and thought about the next course of action.
He knew that game was not over as he still could feel that sense of dread in the air.
Sure enough, as he made his way to the corridor, he immediately hit behind a wall as he spotted 4 more ghosts roaming there.
He was not scared but cautious as they were several in numbers. However, he could only rely on himself.
He has to give credit to mental resistance since he was now calculating the next move calmly instead of being scared.

A ghost screamed as it sensed a human and also alerted other ghosts.
'Shit! But now it's the time to face them!'
Seiya smirked with confidence and leaped towards them and activated his Mystic Eyes.
Swing
This time, he swung the knife as a thrust to target directly at the center of its life force.
Seiya didn't wait to see if the ghost disappeared as he ran with his full might while also thrusting his knife at the center of those life orbs. Never once did he miss his footing or hand moment to give ghost monsters any chance to evade.
And hence within a few seconds, all the ghosts disappeared leaving the same white marbles.
He then proceeds to collect all of them and then store them afterward. He didn't know how to use those marbles for now but maybe in the future?

Suddenly he started feeling an immense sense of dread again and acting on instincts, he took a defensive stance. Just as he do so, someone or something jammed at him and shot him out of the corridor to the main ground outside.
"Aaargh!!" Seiya groaned with pain as the force was something that could have killed him if not for his timely defense.
Thanks to that, he was not injured but the hit impacted his muscles.
While groaning and trying to figure out the situation, his eyes fell on the thing responsible for that hit.
Again what he saw baffled the shit out of him.
It was an almost 8 feet tall monster covered from its head to feet with a black covering reminiscent of a cloak and had a white mask with an elongated nose.
Seiya immediately found this category of monster when he saw a big hole in the monster's abdomen.
It was a hollow, the monster from anime called Bleach.
'Fuck, now what? A character from the same show would show up and save me?' Seiya jokingly thought as escaping from this kind of monster was very narrow.
And just as he said so, a gust of wind engulfed both Seiya and the hollow followed by a loud bang.
Seiya couldn't see clearly what happened but he saw that hollow was nailed to the ground while a person was standing on it.
From the dust in the ground, he couldn't see the face or appearance of the person but he was able to detect that it must be a girl. And she was either wearing something very tight or she was buck naked.
And Seiya who came from another world somehow managed to identify this person. She was…
