Edward:"I currently own a shattered spirit altar that I can have sent to you if you are so inclined as to accept my apology"

Me:"I'll accept your apology for your transgression this one time now why are you visiting me you said you wished to discuss a transaction of sorts but you had not explained the nature of aforementioned transaction"

Edward:"I'm here on the behalf of the Barnabas family on a matter concerning Douglas Barnabas it would seem that he has developed a great deal of affection for one of your slaves the one known as Mora and the family would very much like to purchase her from you and have made a very generous offer as show of sincerity" pushing a contract towards me with very generous number written across for one dark elf

Me:"Ed I thought we were past insults yet once again I find that clearly you don't have any respect for me as you just shoved a contract in my face without bothering to ask if I have any intention of selling not to mention you dare to call my servant a slave when clearly she does not wear a slave collar mandatory for all slaves in the empire to distinguish a slave from a person was the apology from before meant for me to lower my guard so you can insult me twice more doe the Barnabas family think so little of me!"

It seemed like Edward was having a panic attack with every new accusation as he was just trying to do his job as he was told to do yet somehow every time he opens his mouth I find another insult by distorting the facts and exaggerating the truth making impossible for anything he says to be anything but an insult and because he lacks authority he has no means to defend himself or deny my claims.

Edward:"I'm sorry to have once again offended you I am only proceeding as instructed by the Barnabas family as I myself find such tactics distasteful but you are right I have insulted you and for my part I would like to compensate you and will send a gift along with the spirit altar I will also inform the Barnabas family about their practices and no longer associate myself with them thank you for your time" I am quite surprised with how he threw them under the bus to save himself and how quickly he distanced himself from them

Me:"Mora please see Edward out"

Mora:"Understood"

Edward follows Mora out of the solarium keeping his mouth shut afraid that I might somehow might be insulted by anything he might say although he still manages one last glance at my hand which had not stopped groping Elizabeth the entire time but only lets out a tired sigh and shakes his head as he continues to the door just as about to really enjoy Elizabeth but Melissa came in with a bored look.

Melissa:"Can you not do that here I actually like this room also General Walker is here to see you please try not to antagonize her as the Verde family values her a great deal"
