CHAPTER SIX:A Fianceè That Doesn't Exist.

The ringing of his phone from his bedside, got him groaning in annoyance at who was disturbing his sleep.

He could remember, he had cancelled all his appointments for the day because he was going out with his Princess.

Which he too,he also needed the sleep that had been deprived of him last night,no,for ages.

All because of Nancy.

Nancy leaving him took a good toll on him,both physically and mentally,he was just at the peak of getting his life fixed which he had pictured both of them in.

People always say that someone's first love was something that was to be treasured for eternity,but that was not the same for Damien Kings.

All he could feel for his first love was nothing but hate,he loathed Nancy and had been too stupid for falling inlove at such a young age.

But he knew that falling in love was something no one has been able to control,it's a natural cause that has no restraints..

Nancy has been his  everything.

She was his first everything.

She made him relaize how stupid,and foolish he was for doing what he did,which was knowing who she was, and falling in love.

Maybe,he should have seen the  signs at first for his mom's refusal about who she was, and what bad influence she was in his life.

How was he going to take care of his child who was abandoned right after birth by her mother?

It's been hard all these years trying to keep up with his business and taking care of his daughter. As stressful as it was,he hadn't once thought of abandoning Daisy.

He could never abandon his blood.

She was the light in his darkness.

Everything he could ever wish for in a child,Daisy had everything,the brains and beauty,she was perfect.

Damien Kings is a proud father.

The second ringing made him know that it  wasn't Alice his secretary, but rather someone else who was capable of tormenting his life until he gave her a listening ear.

Andromeda Kings.

His mom.

Taking the phone,while rubbing his tired eyes that were clearly lacking sleep,he picked up the call and raised his hand up, moving the phone away from his ear.

Which was her yelling.

Seriously,his ears could  have been badly injured if he had put the phone directly to his ear immediately he took the call, but he knew his mom.

It's been a week he heard from her,no,a week  of him avoiding her calls, because just like he had vowed to live a peaceful life with just his princess,daisy.

His mother was not planning on letting him move along with his plans,rather she has as another motive which was aligning with what his daughter wanted.

His mother wants him married,and with all due respect, he's not planning on being such an obedient son this time around.

Not now, because her request was what he wouldn't be able to fulfill,it sounded cringing to his ears that his mother could ask such of him.

"Damien Kings,for the love of God,what exactly are you turning into?"

"Greetings mother,hope you had a good night's rest?"He asked,standing up to walk   into his walk-in closet to look at himself in the mirror.

He held in the sigh which he nearly gave out after he saw his sleep deprived face,Daisy was so going to know that he's stressed up,and he's not happy that she might change her mind about going out with him today and suggest he take a nap.

Which was not happening anytime soon, because he can't back out from his promise, especially when it was coming  from someone he loves.

Daisy doesn't know that her dad hasn't been able to sleep normally, for the past five  years of her mother leaving.

She doesn't know,and always complains about him stressing himself out from work ,when it was something else.

"Yeah i had a good one, with you trying to sent me to my early grave without seeing my daughter in-law"

"Mom seriously,you know you can't joke about death that easily"He reprimanded her,which only made her scoff at his concern,which she doesn't know if they were genuine anymore.

"Then if you don't want me to die,you know the right thing to do son,for crying out loud it's been five years baby, and you are not going any younger"

"Thanks mother,but I'm okay just the way…"He was cut short of his statement,by her calling his name in a really angered tone.

Now,she's annoyed.

"Don't tell me that son,Daisy needs a mother and you know that,what sort of a father are you if you don't do what she asks?"Andromeda complained on behalf of her grandchild.

This seemed to get to him, because there was a long pause before he spoke up,but not in his usual tone any longer.

He's hurt.

But he's stubborn.

Not every girl is that gold digger,and the sooner he gets to know that and opens his heart for once,he will realize that there was more to love than what he and Nancy shared.

But who's she kidding?Damien was being stubborn for some stupid reasons, which was not of any importance at the moment.

"Mother,I know that, but it's not that  easy, getting married to someone who I'm hundred percent sure wouldn't treat Daisy like her own child won't be that easy"He complained, walking into his bathroom.

"There's nothing those bitches want, mother, except my goddamn money mother,what would you have me do when there's not even a sincere person out there?"A little bit of irritation built up in him,at his mother's rantings.

Yeah,he was glad and was thankful for her concern about him, and Daisy but what she was asking was not that easy.

Getting married isn't as easy as getting those sluts to fall for him.

This was a lifetime  commitment,and he doesn't see himself falling into that category of a happily ever after with anyone at the moment.

That is total bullshit!

Forever doesn't last.

"How will you find a sincere someone if you don't open your heart to do that son, I have had enough of this talk with you,I'm getting you a wife Damien and  there's nothing you can do about that"Andromeda said, finality  hosting her tone.

Who would have thought that the drop dead gorgeous, and richest single billionaire in country B was having his  ass, reprimanded by his mother for not getting married?

"No, you can't do that mother,I'm not a kid but a father"

"Then start acting like one,start taking up your responsibilities and think like a father would do  anything for his daughter,and not some boy who's scared to love"

He wanted to shout at his mother for saying the reality to him, he knew that nothing was going to change the fact that this was the truth.

For how long is  he going to lie to Daisy that he's going to get her a mother?

How long is he going to still believe that falling in love was something which he doesn't see himself doing?

Everyone is not Nancy.

You need to wake up Damien.

You are a father,act like one!

Placing the phone back to his ears,as his mother's constant nagging didn't leave his mind.

"Fine,I will get married mother"

"Now,that's my boy talking,any special person in mind,I could help y..?"Andromeda's excited voice was cut but his cold ones,she knew he was just trying to get her to stop pestering him about marriage.

But since he thinks he can fool her into believing,why not play along?

But she's getting him a wife,and that's final.

"No mother,I have one already,I have a Fianceè"He cut her off.

You are such a liar,Damien Kings.

Hope she buys it.

"Seriously?"Andromeda camouflaged the fact that her son was lying to her,but she was too eager to know how this would end."I'm coming back in five days time Damien,I would like to see the fianceè,how does that sound?"

Damien cussed.

He knew that she knew that he was lying,but what she didn't know was  that he was serious this time.

"Fine,you get to see her when you are back"

"I'm so happy for you my boy,Daisy would be so excited,I guess she doesn't know yet who this mysterious lady is?"

Mysterious indeed.

There was no lady.

"It's a surprise mother"He said, touching his temple for the headache he just brought into his life,this was a long journey which he had just started.

Would he be brave to finish this?

"I can't wait to be shocked Damien,don't fail me baby boy,five days it is, take care.Send my regards to Daisy, and of course to my soon to be daughter in-law"She added, smirking to herself at her son's foolishness.

"You take care of yourself too mother,i love you too"With that,he ended the call with a deep breath he released while thinking of what he just did.

Fianceè?

Couldn't he have found something else to keep his mother from disturbing him,rather than telling her about a Fianceè that doesn't exist.

"Daddy!"He heard Daisy's voice downstairs,and he instantly rushed into the bathroom to clean up when he remembered his appointment with her.

His mind still worried about the problem he just generated for himself,he fucked up.

He knew that.
