1 Chapter 1

" So it was just a misunderstanding. I hope such type of misunderstandings are quite reasonable to happen for the people like us. "

Michael, a big business man, with lots of awards and top ranking was sitting in such a miserable condition like someone has just stole something so precious to him which holds the will of living his life.

His secretary and all office workers were trying to give their best because they knew that if they made even a single mistake for now, they not only have to suffer the humiliation provided by Michael but also the orders of being fired.

Michael was one of the fussy boss of the top most company " M&C Corp. ". He not only had a bad a temper but also a habit of judging things so quickly not even giving them a chance to be explained. No difficulty or obstacle ever stopped the way of him to the success but today something really big has happened which made him so miserable to have pity on.

Michael was sitting on his chair in his office when he heard a knock.

" Come in " he said in a irritating voice. He had no intentions of having any meeting today. He didn't even want to meet any of his office member.

" Sir, these are files from Mr. Roger about the collaboration we have been doing. I came here just to take your signs on these files. " The secretary said thinking about his each word he was about to say.

His secretary, John, was actually his childhood friend but knew the temper of Michael as a boss. This job was really precious to him not only because it kept him near his friend but also it helped in his financial status.

" Oh John! Please don't be afraid of me. I need you this moment. Leave the files of Roger on the coffee table and speed up here. " Michael said really in a sweet tone.

John for a moment was taken aback. He wasn't expecting such behavior from him on such a bad mood.

" Oh sure Michael! Is something bad happened? " he asked in a concerning tone.

" Yes John Yes! Have you seen the news today? Some chick has uploaded my pics with her which are photoshopped but no one is believing me. You know how much I hate girls but this news will destroy all my career which I made with such effort. " Michael completed the story in a really angry and disturbed tone.

John eyes widened and his ears couldn't believe the information Michael just delivered. As much he knew about his temper, he also knew about the hate from girls of Michael. It was not a normal hate but a hate with a really bad background story and same background story has again confronted Michael taking his everything away.

" Michael, why don't you find the information about the chick who actually got you in the trouble. Once we find her, maybe through some money we can ask her to take the complaint back. " John suggested.

" What do you think? I have already sent my men to know about this weird chick who did this to me. I will not settle this matter with money. I will destroy her. I will kill her. " Michael said in the rage of anger. The disgust for that girl was clearly visible in his eyes.

" Murder! Are you even listening yourself. The company you started will be lost if you got into a murder case. " John said worriedly.

" You just wait and see John, I will not kill her directly. I will make her life so miserable that she will herself. " Michael said in psychotic tone.

John had no other option but to nod his head. He said no more words and took his leave from his office. Whole day he thought about the commitment Michael did in front of him. The information about the scam got everyone's attention and the reputation and stakes of the company started going down.

The office hours were over and the workers started going back to their homes. John waited for Michael due to bunch of reporters waiting outside for their unanswered questions. John knew how much tensed reporters make Michael.

He gathered the courage, went to Michael's office and went inside his cabin.

" Michael, we need to go home. Let's go." He said really in a slow tone.

" No John no. I can't go. These reporters will take my loge away with their questions. Don't you know what happened at the time of college. I can't let those memories haunt me again. You go. I will stay here. " Michael said. His eyes were puffy due to crying but red as well due to the anger he had in his eyes for that girl.

" No Michael. Being a friend I will not leave you here. Either you are coming with me or I am also staying. " John stated.

Michael knew that John lived with his old mother and John's heading back to home was really important. He was left with no other choice but to leave with John.

As much as he knew about John, he had full faith on him that he will somehow protect him from the reporters outside.

Once Michael stepped out, the reporters confronted him in such a way that he was the culprit and he should be given no right to live.

" Sir, why did you destroy that girl's life?"

" Sir, how can you be this heartless? "

" Sir, Is the news really true? "

" Sir, did you upload the pics of her just to make her life a hell? "

Somehow John dodged the questions and protected Michael from being broken inside but one question came through all the ears which could not be pretended unheard by the Michael.

" Sir, we heard you did the same thing during your college? You were sent to jail then is this the same girl? Are you taking revenge ? "

As Michael heard this question, he stopped in his way to his car, he turned around the answer the question.

The answer was not so satisfactory but during his answer, something happened which was not expected till the end of the day.
