2 The ruins

This chapter in a way is a presentation about the Underground stuff and how things are going to work here at the Fanfic, so it's not full of content (it obviously has a considerable amount, but not the amount I wanted to add).

In the next chapter I want to put much more content so be patient with me, because this is a story of slow pace and a lot of things will happen yet.

----------------------

Ruins

In a fully crushed field of flowers, a 'new' body falls on the place. Said body belonged to a child of apparent age 6 to 7 years, with almost completely white hair with some black streaks.

The Child was holding a fully sewn and bizarre rabbit with as much strength as possible, as if it were something really important to him.

( A/N: Appearance )

----------------------

Flowey POV

After Chara fell and was taken by Toriel, boredom began to reign in the Ruins again. The spiders were very dull and I could not in any way approach Chara carelessly, otherwise Toriel would probably notice me and attack me again.

I don't think there's much to do, I'll just wait for the right moment so I can visit Chara and start guiding her through the Underground, so we can fulfill our plan.

...

Hm? There shouldn't be any noise in the flower field, right? So far in all of the previous routes none of this has happened, so that's at least weird.

... I think I'd better go check, because I don't want the plan to be spoiled by laziness.

( A/N: I thought this would be the best way to change the point of view, but if you are confused let me know that I will find a new way in the future. )

----------------------

The Field of flowers already kneaded began to move for some instants, and from it came a giant flower if compared to the others, said flower was about 40 to 50 centimeters.

It was looking in shock at the body of the currently unconscious boy, apparently the simple fact that he was there was already abnormal, as if this were something that should not happen.

...

After a few minutes in shock staring at the body, the face of the flower distorted into a bizarre smile and she prepared to attack the boy controlling a vineyard and lifting it close to the face of such.

The moment the boy was about to be attacked, he opened his eyes, seemingly waking. He got up and started looking around until he found the flower.

- 「Who are you?」

The flower instantly retreated upon hearing the Boy speak, his voice for some reason caused chills - if at all possible - in it.

- I'm Flowey, the flower. I'll be your Underground Guide, okay, buddy?

It was difficult to regain the posture to begin acting, but the flower managed to do it in a certain way, although not perfectly.

Thanks to his failure in acting, the Kid was able to see that there was something else there, apparently thanks to his giant cunning.

- 「All right, nice to meet you Flowey, I'm Kumagawa Misogi but you can just call me Kumagawa.」

The Boy said with an innocent smile on his face, making the fear of the flower only increase for currently unknown reasons, there was something in the Boy's voice that terrified the Flower.

- I will begin to explain to you how things work here.

Everything began to blink and suddenly everything went black, leaving only the figures of Flowey and the Kid now known as Kumagawa. They were both completely gray staring at each other.

- You are underground where we monsters live. What is floating in front of you is your soul, there are different types of Souls for each human, yours appearing to be very rare.

Flowey said with a smile on his face staring at Kumagawa, but internally he was shocked. Never in his wildest imagination had he seen an almost totally black Soul with Rose tips.

( A/N: There is a reason behind this that may be explained in this chapter, but it is guaranteed that by the Next chapter you will already have the information of why the Soul of the Protagonist is like this. Soon, This is no exaggeration or plot to make him incredibly strong. )

He knew that a black color meant hate, and apparently this child should have enough hate for his soul to be almost completely black. Not even Chara had her soul black despite all the hate she had.

Just to imagine the amount of hate that the Boy in front of it and seemingly innocent must have...

- 「Mr Flowey?」

Flowey left his thoughts after hearing Kumagawa's voice, so he looked at him. The Boy was staring at him confused as if he were asking 'why did you stop talking?'

- Excuse me, boy. I got lost in my thoughts. Here in the Underground we use the Soul to communicate directly with one another, not just the Body. Monsters provide humans with something called 'Friendliness pellet', each monster has its own form of 'Friendliness pellet', to become friends with them you need to pick up the pellet.

Flowey told Kumagawa, who was apparently understanding everything, which satisfied Flowey.

Unfortunately for the flower, it did not realize that what the Boy was realizing was the truth behind it, which was extremely obvious and simple to perceive.

- Here, I will give you some friendliness pellets, take them.

White petals began to magically appear in the air, causing Kumagawa to widen his eyes a little, after all, it was the first time he saw Magic - disregarding the 'Darkness Devil' - and this magic was coming right at him.

Flowey was staring at Kumagawa with a little sip on his face as its Magic moved toward him, but inwardly it was smiling like a madman. Apparently the Boy did not have a Soul of Determination, so it would be completely over if he were killed, and so he could absorb the Boy's soul to become stronger.

A Soul of Hate should give him a lot of strength, and strength was something he would not let go through anything.

Unfortunately for the flower, this is Kumagawa we're talking about. The same boy with an extremely bizarre and sickening mentality even if he is just a child.

He advanced towards the petals and caught them, causing them to collide with him and a bar appeared in front of him.

HP: 1/20

His Hp had gone instantly to 1 after taking Flowey's petals, apparently demonstrating that the Flower was considerably strong.

Flowey began to laugh wildly and looked at Kumagawa, hoping to see a face of pain, fear or even crying, after all, he was still a child. But the vision in front of him surprised him.

The Boy was smiling in front of him, with a line of blood running down the corner of his mouth, but apparently he showed no sign of pain or being completely injured.

When Flowey was going to use more Magic and kill Kumagawa for good, the boy put his hand on him and pulled him up, tearing him from the ground and making his HP halve.

HP - Flowey: 30/60

Apparently getting it off the ground was a very damaging and this is visible not only by the HP bar but also Flowey's pained face.

- H-hey, kid, I'm sorry I tricked you, okay? We can be friends and I promise I'll never attack you again, okay? And then put me down, please...

Seeing the flower practically begging in his hand as he stared at him somehow made Kumagawa smile even more, which definitely spooked Flowey.

Kumagawa stretched his hands toward Flowey's petals and began to tear them off one by one, ignoring his cries begging him to stop.

HP - Flowey: 22/60

- Arg!! Seriously, it doesn't have to be s-so violent, kid. Can we just forget about all this, h-how about that?

Flowey said trembling, with a small amount of tears coming out of his eyes.

HP - Flowey: 15/60

- I beg you, please stop!

Flowey had gone back to completely assuming his old personality of a somewhat fragile and immature 'child' rather than a sadistic and completely psychotic plant.

HP - Flowey: 7/60

HP - Flowey: 3/60

- Chara...! Mom... Dad...help me..

Flowey's vision was completely blurred, and all he could do at the time was beg for help from the three people closest to him, and the ones he loved the most before becoming a Flower and losing almost all of his feelings.

HP - Flowey: 1/60

- 「Thanks for having fun with me, Flowey.」

Said Kumagawa with a pure smile, and plucked the last petal from Flowey.

HP - Flowey: 0/60

- .. I couldn't.. see Chara for the last... time...

The flower said with an almost nonexistent tone of voice, as tears flowed from his eyes.

The figure of Flowey began to disappear and in less than 5 seconds only dust remained in place.

Contrary to what it should be, the place was covered in Blood, apparently Flowey somehow counted as a real living being with flesh and blood, rather than a plant.

After looking around a little longer, Kumagawa began to move towards the only door he had on the spot, he did so while he was almost completely covered in blood.

With his little humble stuffed rabbit, he entered the doors of the Ruins, leaving behind a huge pool of blood and some bloody footprints.

*Ping*

LV: 1>4

...

...

...

The ruins were comfortable so to speak, it was a quiet and very relaxing place. It had a super quiet breeze and it wasn't really dirty, most cobwebs were made by small, seemingly intelligent spiders.

There were some extremely strange Puzzles along the way but nothing that really irritated or delayed him, so he continued to walk through the ruins in a great mood.

Strangely the blood that covered Kumagawa had dried almost completely, making the only strange thing to be his clothes that were previously almost totally white to be a mixture of red and white.

...

Upon seeing a new door, Kumagawa began to go towards it but suddenly stopped. Why? the world started flashing black and white again, before everything went black.

Apparently he had found someone.

*You found a Froggit.

* Fight / *Watch / *Item / *Pity

Apparently this 'Froggit' was a one meter tall, strange frog, who for some reason couldn't speak perfectly unlike Flowey.

( A/N: When battles occur during Undertale, I will be following a different pattern than normal battles should be, so try to avoid getting confused and pay attention in this first battle so in the future you can better understand how it will work. )

=====

*Observe - >

* Life is hard for this enemy

* HP: 20/20

* AT: 3

* DF: 1

--

* Fight ->

Froggit began to generate 5 flies on which when appearing were at a reasonable speed in the direction of Kumagawa.

The Boy being abnormally stronger than a child should be, managed to deflect all five flies by stepping to the side and then forward with all his force concentrated on his legs.

Without stopping for a single instant, after passing the flies Kumagawa advanced at 'high speed' towards the froggit, coming close to him and punching him with full force on the head, causing his fist to pass through the head of the giant frog and a huge amount of blood to fall to the ground.

- Fro-ggit...

These were the last words of the Frog before he began to disappear and turn to dust.

* Congratulations on killing a Froggit.

* You won 10 EXP and 20 GOLD

* The Battle ends.

=====

When the message appeared and said that he gained something by killing the Froggits, Kumagawa was able to see two windows in front of him. The first was a totally black window with a few words and a few numbers, and apparently that was the most important one.

LV: 4 - 10/20

Apparently he needed 10 more 'EXP' to go to Level 5. He didn't know what the LV would increase, but had in mind to find out in the future, it wasn't possible that 'LV' was just garnish.

The second window was much simpler and had a '20' in it, with only one word.

Gold: 20

Somehow he had 20 Gold, but he didn't know where the Gold was and how to use it, and that was something else he intended to learn.

Unlike most other people, Kumagawa adapted extremely quickly, so fortunately he was acting in a way that virtually guaranteed his survival rather than being totally lost or even scared to battle.

- 「Let's move on! Maybe there's more LV ahead!」

With a childish tone of voice, Kumagawa took on a smile on his face and began to walk forward with the aim of exploring the entire Ruin and, if possible, getting more LV. He didn't know what it was but somehow he felt good(?) getting LV.

Unfortunately for the monsters of the Ruins, they would meet their end and this time it would not be by the hands of the Player's Marionette, but by the strangest boy who ever lived.

End.
