Supreme Heavenly Lightning

Li Fen sat down crossed-legged under the giant willow tree. There was a strange calmness in the surrounding area. The morning sun gleamed down and basked the undergrowth with its glory. Only the small shuffling of animals could be heard as they passed through leaves and branches.

Li Fen took a deep breath. Small leaves began to fall around Li Fen.

He stood still, adorned a calm face, and relaxed his body. A small leaf slowly fell in front of him. A deep scent of wood engulfed Li Fen's nose as he began trying to dive deep into his consciousness.

A streak of Heavenly lightning swirled around an old parchment of paper deep within his consciousness. This was the Supreme Heavenly Lightning Cultivation.

Li Fen approached the cultivation technique, his soul reached out for it.

Holding the old piece of paper, the method for the first stage of the cultivation art: the Lightning Condensation Stage was written. Ancient enigmatic symbols swirled around the paper before forming letters of traditional Chinese.

The first step!

Li Fen had practiced this thousand times yet never succeeded. He allowed his consciousness to spread into his surroundings. He began to sense the Qi around him.

Qi slowly began to head towards Li Fen. To first step is compromised of gathering the surrounding Qi towards oneself and aligning the Qi into its respective elements. Each surrounded Li Fen, spiraling around him.

Leaves began to fly around Li Fen, and a current of air was forming around the willow tree that headed towards the Heavens.

Faint Heavenly scriptures began to form around Li Fen, they echoed within Li Fen's consciousness.

Dharmic chants and bright golden lights began to appear around Li Fen as he began reciting the Heavenly Scriptures from the cultivation technique.

Space around Li Fen began to fracture as time passed and hissing as if a pipe had been punctured sounded around Li Fen.

The air began pushing against Li Fen, forcing him onto the ground. Strange symbols were slowly carved into Li Fen's body. Dragons, phoenixes, qilin, and all kinds of mythical creatures were forming on Li Fen's skin. These creatures were all joined by streaks of golden lightning, surrounding Li Fen's entire body.

A dragon encompassing his back, each limb adorned with a phoenix, tiger, and turtle. While on his chest lay qilins and dragons swirling near his dantian.

Li Fen's temperament had completely changed. If one were to look at Li Fen, one might think he was God! An overbearing feeling exuded from Li Fen's body.

The faint crackling sound of lightning could be heard above as the clouds gathered near the Silvermoon village.

As the swirling continued towards its peak, Li Fen abruptly opened his eyes.

Boom!

Golden light irradiated with lightning could be seen flashing from Li Fen's eyes. The surrounding Qi quickly entered Li Fen through his seven orifices. Turbulent Heavenly lightning condensed in the sky above Li Fen.

When suddenly, the lightning rushed down towards Li Fen at an unimaginable speed!

The sky screeched as the lightning approached Li Fen.

Booooom!

A thick lightning bolt submerged Li Fen. "Arghh!" Li Fen grunted as he endured the pain. The intensity increased as the lightning ravaged his Li Fen.

Puehh!

Li Fen spat a mouthful of blood. This was the worst pain he had ever felt in his life, exceeding even that of his transmigration. His body was being tempered by the Heavenly lightning, his spiritual roots gouged out bit by bit and rebuilt with new Heavenly spiritual roots.

His meridians were also eliminated from his body, bearing such extreme pain. Li Fen could barely hold himself together as new special meridians replaced his old ones.

The barrage of lightning continued as the quality of Li Fen's body reached its peak. His muscles, his viscera, his bowels, his blood; every fiber in Li Fen's body had been reborn to an extreme quality that would put even the Dragon King to shame.

Li Fen was now sprawled on the ground. He couldn't move an inch. He felt a sense of rejuvenation fill his being, but the mental damage of such pain wasn't going to go away so fast.

Li Fen was exhausted. It could be said that he had experienced someone cutting him apart into a million pieces and rebuilding him piece by piece, slowly.
