A date that goes wrong. [Rewrited]

Kuoh City was in Japan. It was a prosperous city filled with famous businesses and a prestigious school called Kuoh Academy.

During the day, the city was filled with people visiting the various stores on the streets mixed with those who were going to their workplaces.

In a dark corner of an alley, the wind blew strongly as a trail of dust appeared from nowhere.

The dust gradually accumulated before transforming into a trail of smoke that was the size of an average human.

Barely 5 minutes later, the smoke began to dissipate, as a humanoid figure could easily be spotted inside.

A coughing sound echoed from the trail of smoke that had already half dissipated when a hazel-haired boy about 17 years old came out coughing. He was wearing a wet school uniform as if he had jumped into the water fully clothed.

Finally, his coughing subsided as he leaned on a wall with his hand.

"..."

My hand leaning against the wall kept me from falling while my mind was in disarray, trying to figure out what just happened.

Am I dead? Is this heaven? Countless questions were running through my head.

After a few minutes of calming down, I could finally see where I was.

Between two walls, I could see a dazzling light in the distance. Maybe this was the light that would lead me to heaven?

I laughed at myself. In truth, I was not a believer, and I doubt that God liked me.

When I decided to walk, I could feel the water seeping into my clothes, as well as the sound of the water-filled shoes making a strange soundless noise at every step I do.

Sighing, I decided not to put my hands in my pockets for some reason before walking calmly towards the light.

When I was a few feet away from the light, I could hear the familiar sound of an engine.

Finally, when I stepped out of the light, the only thing I could see was not heaven, angels, or a man in white underwear with a white beard holding a book in his hands looking stern.

"A city?" I muttered as I looked around with a very slight frown.

Why am I in a city? The wind had capsized me from the Yacht, and I clearly should have drowned or washed up on an island.

Suddenly, I was pushed by someone walking quickly with a phone to his ear wearing a black suit.

"Excuse me!"

The man raised his hand to me before continuing on his way as I watched him go with an uneasy feeling in my heart.

The sun was slowly starting to leave the sky of Kuoh City replaced by a late orange color.

I spent my day looking for clues for where am I, and discovered that I was in a city called Kuoh, and most people I asked if they knew something about Kudo Ikusei High School, told me they didn't, but that there was a famous academy that had the same name as the city.

Looking at the sky that was getting darker, I sighed softly.

I had to find a place to sleep, food, and water. Otherwise, it could get complicated. The only problem was the money. I only had a phone and clothes that had dried out during my walk.

I also doubt that they would take points from a school they didn't even know.

Not only that, but I suddenly felt my stomach gurgle along with the dryness in my throat due to a lack of water.

I ran my hand over my belly as an idea came into my head. I might not be able to eat, but I knew where I could drink.

Most of the people I had asked told me about a park on the west side of the city, and without thinking more, I went there.

After a good ten minutes, I had reached the park thanks to people's indications. It was still open to the public.

It was full of greenery and trees with a fountain in the center and benches all around the paths to take breaks.

A good place for dates. I thought to myself as my eyes fell on what I had come for.

In the parks, there was often some sort of green water pumps for those who wanted to quench their thirst, especially for joggers.

I approached the pump and turned the handle above it, which let out the water as I quenched my thirst.

With each sip of water, I felt my previously dry throat become soft again. Even though the water had no taste, at that moment, I could feel that it was the best drink on earth.

After drinking enough, I left the water pump and went to sit on one of the benches near the fountain.

Task 1. Drinking water. Success.

I could finally relax after an exasperating day. From a yacht to the water to end up in an unknown city. Something completely unrealistic that even I couldn't understand.

"I feel like magic exists..." I sighed as I focused on the second goal I had set for myself.

Task 2. Find a place to sleep and eat.

I had already tried to call Horikita and the others, but it instantly replaced me with an audible message that said the caller's number was not assigned.

Two shadows passed me as I looked up at what was a guy and a girl. Both looked to be my age.

I continued to watch them as they stopped in front of the fountain before looking at each other blankly.

The girl was well dressed and even wore a bracelet around her wrist, and the guy looked clean on him too.

The girl had long black hair accompanied by amethyst-colored eyes, and the guy looked plain with messy brown hair and hazel eyes.

As the two looked at each other, I could see the signs of his forehead sweating slightly as well as the wetness under his armpits while the girl wore a... fake smile?

The two moved closer as the girl whispered a few things into his ears that I couldn't hear.

Seeing her do this, I felt that the girl was fake. She reminded me of Koshida, maybe an instinct?

Before I could even prepare myself, black wings suddenly emerged from the girl's back, and her clothes ripped off before being replaced by some latex bikini and spiked shoulder pads.

In an instant, her fake smile disappeared, replaced by a sadistic face filled with mockery and contempt for the boy.

"Ahahaaha! Did you think I would want to date someone as pathetic as you? PFFFTT Ahahaha" I saw the thing with black wings smiling wickedly at the boy as if he was a monkey.

Wings?? Why did wings suddenly come out of her back?

Watching the scene, I couldn't help but rub my eyes as the girl suddenly flew into the air while continuing to speak.

When she finished speaking, a net of light materialized in her hands, and before the guy even understood, I saw him pierced by the light right in the belly.

The guy suddenly spat blood out of his mouth, looking down at his belly, he saw a huge hole that had been created by the light before he looked up at the angel girl with an expression of incomprehension and despair.

I could see him fall to the ground in his blood, though the angel didn't even see me, or maybe she didn't care about me.

Without further ado, I took the opportunity to walk away from the scene with a slight shock in my eyes. I had just arrived in a city by magic, and now a girl with black wings coming out of her back killed people with light...

Turning around, I saw a red circle appear near the guy, and again as if by magic, a girl with long crimson hair came out of the red circle.

"What is that?" I couldn't understand what was going on, but the girl who had come out of the circle was beautiful. I would say even above Horikita.

Seeing her bend over the guy, I could understand that she had no intention of killing him.

Maybe she even wanted to save him?

I could sense that she wasn't an aggressive person at first glance, and seeing her do it, maybe this could be an opportunity.

"Nothing ventured nothing gained." Taking a deep breath, I approached her.
