"You two can say hello tomorrow but you guys should rest for now," he then looked in Yino's direction. "Monica said that you'll be in charge of him so give him the room next to yours."

"Okay" Yino nodded, though, he didn't really care much.

After getting permission to leave, he took the newcomer and left. The mansion had its light open up to the second floor but the floor beyond that had no light whatsoever. However, the glass wall allows the city lights and the moonshine to peek.

There are many doors lined up in the hallway, and Vincent could guess that they were rooms for the children. "here we are," Yino stopped in front of a door and opened it. "my room is next to yours, so if anything happens, just knock. It's super late so let's talk tomorrow"

Yawn*

Yino couldn't control his eyelids from closing. It was past bedtime and he had a very tiring day "Anyway, I'm off to bed" He waved dismissively and disappeared to his room.

Vincent followed suit, locking his room from the inside. The room was large, not big as the guests' room but it was quite big from a servants' point of view. He reckons that three ordinary people could live here and have no problem staying together.

However, Vincent was too tired to care for something so trivial. It might be incredible for others but it barely considers a luxury in his eyes. If there's ever a reason why he won't be able to sleep at night, then maybe because the bed is too low, or that it's not soft enough for his preference.

Yet contrary to his thoughts, he passed out the moment his back touched the bed. The events drained too much of his energy. It was too much for his body to handle, especially after recovering his memories. It put a lot of strain on his mind.

For the first time in a while, Vincent was able to sleep soundly without worrying about his safety...

A few hours before Vincent was taken by Innocence, young Raphael was facing his own problems in Sangria.

"Thank you so much for helping this slave, my lord " Raphael was on his knees in front of the Lord. After Creon took him away, he was brought into a mansion somewhere in the inner area of the settlement.

From what he could guess, this Lord should be the reason why Creon helped him in the first place. He had no idea why the Lord took interest in him but it wasn't bad, at least from his perspective. That just means he had a bigger thigh to cling onto.

No one would blame him for thinking like that, humans are greedy creatures, and they would do anything to reach a higher level-- even if it means abandoning their pride. Pretty much anyone with a brain would do so as well. "why don't you talk normally? Doesn't it hurt your pride, don't you have dignity?" Raphael was taken aback. He didn't expect that question of all things.

"t-this slave doesn't understand, my Lord" Raphael was confused and had a fearful expression. It wasn't an act though, we'll, it was half an act.

At the very least, he was alarmed. The man was way more dangerous than Creon, and he understand that fact very well. His question was also a factor, it was a test to see how he'll react.

"Is that so? I must be mistaken then" The Lord gave up on the idea and moved on. He already expected that Raphael won't give himself that easily.

"I'm really really sorry. I really don't know. I'm so stupid, please don't punish me" Raphael dropped his head and was about to cry. He didn't want to disappoint the Lord with his stupidity... or how it looked on the outside.

Raphael had been to many similar situations before, it became his second nature.

As a consigliere, it was his job to handle extra affairs on behalf of his sister, the donna of his time. That includes meeting other forces in their home ground. He used to entertain foxes who wants to manipulate him or snakes who wants to swallow him alive. Raphael had met those people more than he wanted to the point where he gets sick of them.

"That's alright, I won't punish you or anything. I'm called Fion by the way, what's your name, do you have one?"

Raphael lifted his head. This was the first time he had the time to properly look at the Lord. Unlike other vampires, his hair was striking white. Not silver like old people, but an enchanting vibrant white.

"Raphael, this human is called Raphael" To be honest, he didn't have a name until now. The vampires didn't give him one and he doesn't have parents so the Vampires just call him, dog, trash, or something along the lines.

Fion nodded in response. "do you know what your name means?" He smiled as he walked near the window. The moon was raised outside, it shone in brilliance like a guiding light to the lost sailor in the sea. "my name Fion, came from the moon-- because of its white glow and purity, just like my hair" He turned around and flashed a smile. "but yours came from an ancient myth. He's one of the Archangels in the Heavenly realm, Raphael"

Raphael just listened. He knew the meaning of his name of course. He asked his mother many times as to why she named him that after all. It just didn't fit him-- especially when he started serving the family as Roxana's consigliere.

However, he didn't expect that his name would have the same meaning in this world. They even knew about angels and considered them as myths. He didn't mention anything about the Bible but the theory still exists.

"that's too much..." Raphael acted surprised. It seems that the gravity of inheriting an angel's name is a big deal. "Angels are sacred and pure, how can a lowly human like me dream to compare?"

Footsteps echoed in the room. He stopped right in front of the child as his smile grew even wider. "Oh? How come a lowly human like you knows something about the Angels? Who are you really?" Raphael felt his body stiffen with his mouth agape.

Oh, he fucked up...
