Chapter six

Alma arrived in Chicago and found a place to settle. The next day she went to school. She had come here to study medicine and become a doctor.

Alma made a friend on her first day whose name was Alberta. Alberta came from Mexico.

Days soon became weeks,weeks became months and months became years and soon Alma graduated from school as a doctor.

Alma decided to return home to meet her parents since it's been five years since she saw them.

"Boss you have a visitor"

"Who is it" he asked in a rude voice

"He says his name is Kyle "

"What does he want"

"I don't know boss"

"Didn't I tell you that was your job as a secretary" he asks in an angry voice

"I'm sorry boss I'll go ask him"

After a few minutes.

"Boss he says he wants a job "

"What job"

"A job as your assistant"

"Tell him I don't need one"

"Boss we have a patient here"

"Tell the nurses to check on the patient and alert the other doctors"

"Yes Boss I'm taking my leave now"

She leaves the office but says to herself

"Don't worry Max,you'll soon be mine"

....

"We will be landing soon,tighten your seat belts"

The passengers tighten their belts and the plane lands soon, but a lady accidentally fell of the plane through the window and was hurt severely.

"Call the ambulance someone fell off the plane"

An ambulance arrives and takes the patient to the nearest hospital.

"Boss a patient..."

"Didn't I tell you to call the other doctors"

"It's another problem"

"Be fast"

"A lady from Chicago fell off the plane as it landed her name is Al.."

She didn't finish when Maxwell rushed out of his office"

"Where is she"

After seeing her some kind of joy finds it way into his heart.

The patient had turned her face to the wall but it seemed sensed someone's presence and turned.

They both stared at each other before Max uttered"Alma"

"Max!"

"Been a long time"

"Yes"

"So you found a reason to come back"

"Yes"

"May I know"

"No"

"okay excuse me the nurses will take care of you"
