"i am sorry" Jude felt shocked and weird.
"Why?....why are you apologizing?"
"i didn't do anything that day...and all of that happened to you guys. only if i had been a little braver would things have been different......better for you guys"
Alexander had his head lowered while his expression weren't any less of a person feeling extremely guilty.
Kristopher and Jude had a little starving contest as if they were exchanging their thoughts
"It's fine" Jude smiled before looking towards Alexander
"even though we had a rough path we are glad"
Kristopher added
"All of it happened.....for a reason. We might not know the reason yet but we would know soon i know"
"So you don't need to feel sorry"
Kristopher finished speaking their thoughts.
Finally Alexander felt light. The guilt which was weighing him down was finally off of him.
Finishing their meals and after paying all of them were out.
"If you ever need help or me to be a witness. i am just one call away"
Alexander said before he was off to his way
"What do you think?" Kristopher asked while they were inside the car
" i don't.....huhhhh i don't want this to get in the public"
"why? because people would talk shit"
"At this point i don't care about people. i have been walking on thin ice there is no telling when it cracks with what has been going on with my damn fam"
Jude stopped before she revealed something she would regret
Kristopher wasn't stupid and knew she was about to say family.
He took a note that she hates her family before changing the topic
"Then why?"
"Derek's life would be in danger" Kristopher head snapped towards jude who was already looking at him with teary eyes. before her tears fell she turned her head and wiped them
"even if....that doesn't happen....do you think public won't target him? He wouldn't be able to live a normal life when the story of his birth gets out? or how her married mother cheated on her husband who was sick in bed? or how she hid him for years from his real dad too? He would be center of hatred even though its not his fault. His life here would be over. HE IS JUST THREE"
Jude was in tears when the car stopped in a dark alley
Before she could do anything she was in a tight hug and she broke down.
"Shhhh it's fine. i am here and u won't let that happen"
Kristopher was coxing her like a baby but jude liked it
After what seemed like twenty minutes she pulled away and witnessed her red and puffy eyes.
tucking few strands if her hair behind her ear he wiped her tears marks with his thumb
"You weren't the only one responsible. I am as much guilty as you. I basically destroyed life of a happy couple.
I kidnapped and forced myself on a married woman while she was drugged.
i even left her without saying a word the next morning and never even apologize.
i hid the truth from her and made her think she was a cheater.
We both have made very bad mistakes which can't be changed.
Let's just.....try and make not very bad mistakes in future"
Grabbing her hand in his tight and warm embrace he smiled at her
"Together for Derek"
Jude stared at his face. Once again those weird feelings hit her
Why was he making her feel the way she was feeling?
Gripping her hands in his she sniffed before saying
"Together.......for Us......all three of us"
