Chapter 2 king's wish

After the ceremony ,

... Two months later ,

From the imaginary conversation , we see the king dingiswayo sitting at his praised chair stared down to baby Shaka , he looked at his delicate shoulders and see the burdens this little child would carry in the future . The child smiled .

The king was recently happy after the baby whose he took him as his son and he named him Shaka comes to his life . He even forgot about his hobbies especially his favorite one "wrestling"

" You're my lucky charm ,

You're my prince

Your smile is my world " the king paused for a while and he continued to say "And to tell you my son , it's not your fault either of your parents to bring you here , you're destined to become the great ruler of our land , a warrior who fight for our people . People will cherish your fruits you planted with your own hands and never look down to your enemies my son , cause they'll rise and take what's yours and what is yours !( asking as he answer himself) , it's this land ( while pointing down his finger to the floor with convincing voice ), when you become the king you must protect your people and embrace their hardships that's the way a true king must be "

The king stood up from his chair with child still in his hands , he raised his left hand and call a maid who was calmly stood outside at the corner of the quarter .

" Yes , my king "

" Take prince to bath and feed him "

" Aye , my king "

After couples of hours , a baby was still in the hands of the king , king dingiswayo can't get enough to play with the child as his concubines start to feel jealous to the baby as he takes king's time just to play with him ,as before they were the ones who played with the king during his rest time .

They peeked at king's quarter and they heard king's laughter all the day , this was disgusting them and start nagging about it .

" I swear to gods , I wish this child grow faster as the king will no longer play with him ", one of the concubines who stood with her arms around her waist said

"Ha ha ha ha , what a ridiculous , to grow !? Who?! , That child ? Mmh never la la la ishhhh not under my foot , I wish he wasn't born "

" Why would you say that , careful ! With your tongue if you don't want your body thrown to the river full of crocodiles "

" I'm not afraid of crocodiles until I make this child suffer , I don't feel good around him you see I feel something is not right when I looked at his face , that child is dangerous to our future i can feel it, don't say you don't "

" Don't be so cruel , that child is innocent for your karma of failing to get pregnant of the king's child , don't hide it dear I can see your ambition of becoming queen . I saw your efforts lately to get king's attention , you always sneak in king's quarter every night ha ha .. ha ha ..ha " the one who seem less disturbed by the baby's presence laughing nonchalantly , she walked away while fly her hands in the air like she sent farewell

" This snake , I hope he won't tell the king what she knows about me "

" Don't worry , we will shut up her mouth forever " as the another one speaking who seemed to be on her side but feared her also , because she's an ace of the king .
