6 A king's Job

The senior fortune teller along with her junior went from the king's quarter to the guest house that they'll stay for sometime .

At the quarter , the junior fortune teller asked her mentor " Is there a way to change the fate ?". Senior fortune teller answered her " There's no way of changing the fate of death actually but there is a way of changing the person who is going to die "

A junior didn't really get what her senior meant , " what do you mean by that " she asked her with curiousity

" I mean if only their fates match " senior explained in a way which still seems complicated . As there were nothing more left to talk , senior took a nap leaving her junior with a lot of questions but later she also sleep, a deep sleep which made her sleepover as the senior woke up early and wake her up .

" Let's go back to the temple !" Those were junior's first words after she woke up . " What makes you say that !?" Her senior asked her. " Actually I don't feel safe here and none the less I had a dream ... Probably a bad dream " she said it to her mentor when she tremble in fear .

" Mmh , that's probably a dream my dear , just a dream " a senior said when she smiled vividly to her . That's really unlike of her , the priest her self never a ignore a dream which probably came from a seer like her junior . A junior fortune teller shocked as her mentor didn't ask her about what she dreamed and ignored it . " That's unlike of you , you always ask me about what I see in my dreams but today what's wrong ?!" She asked her mentor

" There's a thing you didn't understand about dreams , my dear . A dream is like your soul , apettite and heart ,the things you felt before you sleep are the ones you gonna dream . If you were afraid then you will dream the nightmares , if you were happy at noon then you'll end your happiness at night when you are a sleep . And you were really afraid yesterday when we were with king probably i knew it you will dream a nightmare "

" Weren't you afraid yesterday ? Why didn't you dream " a junior asked her mentor

"I was , I really was but I didn't fear my fear .... I mean I didn't fear the king who is my fear , and about dreams they're just dreams as the humans say isn't it ! " . The priest said as she isn't a human at all.

At the quarter's yard of the king dingiswayo , the king himself was sitting on his praised chair outside of his quarter when his twelve concubines surround him , felt the breeze from the trees which surround the mtetwa villages. He was thinking about something then he called one of his attendants and he sent him to senior fortune teller's quarter and sent for her . A senior with her junior got themselves prepared and went to king's quarter .

The senior along with her junior approached the king's quarter yard while escorted by the king's guards , they arrived and bowed down to the soil infront of the king as a greeting

" Greetings from these lowly servants , king !"

King dingiswayo just ignored their greetings and asked on a drink from one of his servants . Probably the king just wanted to insult them and shows who is above and have power such an "arrogant king". After a while , the king was silent until the senior fortune teller ask him ,

" How can you celebrate while your son is in the battlefield " what was senior speak of exactly ?! A son of the king , it's probably Shaka himself .

A lion of natal " SHAKA " wasn't home probably he went to a boarder in the north , he was at the battlefield , fighting with Ngwane tribe under their leader sobhuza the son of a strong tribe named "black wolves" which neither loose nor surrender the fight before around the territories of Natal

As the king himself doesn't care whatever they're , scary ,cruel , unbeatable , probably he sent his son to win that war no matter what he believes he will bring a victor home .

" A celebration means victory , I trust my son , probably he can't loose from that bastard sobhuza who killed my great general " the king said

" He can't loose not because you trust him but because it isn't still a time for him to loose but one day he'll loose " senior said , all that time a junior was witnessing a war words between her senior and the king without uttering any word.

King dingiswayo replied a senior fortune teller " I didn't call you here to talk about my son , I call you here to see the vision of Ndwande tribe under zwide "

" For that King , I can't "

The senior refused to see the vision of Ndwande tribe but she suggested her junior fortune teller to fulfill the king's wish .

" I can't see the vision of ndwande because I didn't bestowed to foresee their visions since I've not any authority over ndwande tribe but here is my pupil , she's also my assistant , she's from ndwande . I've been raising her since she was a young of six months and I taught her to the vision of future , let her do your work "

" So you can't do it because you're not allowed or you are just refusing to because you think you're not my running dog!? " . King asked unexpected question out of anger

The King wasn't that angry to a senior only she refused but he was more angry to hear a junior fortune teller is a ndwande , he shouted to a senior , why did she brought an enemy in their land but for the benefits of mtetwa tribe , he calmed down and he allowed junior fortune teller to see the vision of Ndwande tribe .

The junior fortune teller asked for preparations of the prayer and offerings the cereals and the heads of sheeps . A junior was a best disciple at the temple as she was given a title of being a " junior" even she was so young but because of her talent for seeing the vision of future despite all the compliments she had given the prayer started fefr noon to night , king dingiswayo waited for so long and lost hopes even it wasn't his character .

But when the night arrived , the rain started and middle the prayer , the junior fortune teller body was showered with the rain water and she was trembling in cold when she said

" Ooh no the heaven is abandoning king dingiswayo , he is not allowed to know the the vision of Ndwande tribe , there's nothing he can do now , he is late " probably this girl doesn't afraid of a king or what , the words abandoning and he is late they're are not suitable at the first place and what will happen to her after saying those words to the king

The king was furious but he had nothing to do , he was shouting in anger to those he claims they are nothing but useless witches who came all the way to show him a drama . He didn't kill them and awaits for the right time actually he won't let this slide . King dingiswayo is not a madking but he doesn't tolerate the stupid things happen in front of his eyes , he is cruel but oriental and he punished people only for reasons , he is a good king to his entire tribe as he won't let a ridiculous acts ruin his people's future and a good father to his beloved son as he will make sure he protect him and his future.

All the villagers of mtetwa tribe got the reports about what happened at the king's quarter but unfortunately the reports travelled all the way towards Ngwane tribe , their leader Zwide heard those informations that there were a fortune teller who was asked by the king dingiswayo to see the vision of his tribe

He said and laugh " Ha ha ha that punk dingiswayo believes in magic power of his ancestors that will help him from being killed by my own hands "

He continued. "soon he'll be eliminated by the soldiers of Ndwande "

King Zwide is a man of no joke and doesn't have Time to loose , a man full of tricks and arms and he never ask himself twice when he wants to do something , he's a oppresser , greedy , cruel and a womanizer . Apparently from being all evil , he is just a looser to king dingiswayo , he never win to him he was always failed to take him down as the king dingiswayo had suppress his troops twice what he remains with is grudge and revenge to him as he probably gave order to his soldiers to be prepared to attack mtetwa and eliminate the whole tribe without leaving any traces of people alive
