50 Love is war

[Marin]

Marin was looking through the window of a classroom while doing her best to hide. She was peeking.

And no. She didn't look like a creep.

Her eyes pierced through the glass and landed the purple haired boy who was sitting in the back.

The boy was sitting in his seat and Marin thought that he was very cute when he was siting like that.

Though others might question why she find him cute, after all he was literally just sitting.

To answer that question, he was sitting adorably in his seat with this adorable smile on his face made him just so adorable.

He was just adorable to her okay, an essay with million words would not change her mind so don't ask her why, just shut up he was adorable!!

But the thing which ruined this wonderful sight for her eyes was the girl sitting beside him.

Obviously Marin had no problem with a girl sitting beside the Fujita.

But what she did have a problem with was the two of them staring at each other like they had a hidden connection or something.

They were exotically looking at each other's eyes and they seemed to be in their own little world. Like a couple deep in love.

She had a problem with that but it must only be slight problem right? It's definitely not that serious.

After all, its not like she was head over heels for Fujita. It's not like her heart ache seeing him like that with another girl. Absolutely not, you must be crazy if you think otherwise.

"It's fine Marin. Totally fine." Her lips moved robotically when she told herself that. She was still like a statue and her eyes had lost all colours, devoid of any emotions.

But then, Fujita suddenly let out chuckles before he smiled at the girl. Like actually smiled.

Not like those diplomatic smile he showed to others but the kind of smile he would show only to her.

It was her smile. A smile only she could get out from Fujita.

'Hey, that's mine.'

Or at least she thought it was. But here he was, smiling like that to another girl Marin did not even know.

And she hated the fact that she still find his smile so precious even though it was not for her.

Her face scrunched up and her cheeks began swelling before the biggest pout appeared on her face.

"This is not fine at all, that jerk." she said.

Just when she had finally accepted her feeling and began loving him. He had to do something like this?

It might not bother her this much if the girl Fujita was interacting with was not as beautiful as her but Marin realised that the girl was exceptionally beautiful.

Many girls would have just left, maybe they would be depressed seeing their love talking and being happy with another girl.

They might sulk around and think to themselves, 'Oh he found a better one.'.

But not Marin.

She was always the type of girl to be extremely passionate about what she likes. Now that she had found something she love the most in the world, would she just sit back and be depressed and watch?

Absolutely not!!

Marin would not allow any girl - be it an angel or goddess - to get in between her and Fujita.

Marin slapped herself on her face to hype herself up. She couldn't make up conclusion by herself either.

She would go there.

And find out exactly what was happening.

She took some time to adjust her clothes before barging into the classroom and immediately heading towards him.

"Fujit-" She was about to call him loudly but stopped herself.

..

..

"YUITOOO!!!!~" She shout out his name with an overexaggerated flair. It felt as if her mouth was made to call out his name and his name alone.

It was the most beautiful name in the world. You can't change her mind.

She was announcing her deep relationship and how she truly felt to the whole world and she loved it. She wanted the whole world to know.

Everyone in the classroom looked at her with shocked eyes. The beautiful girl every boy wanted to date. The model who every girl envied, was calling a boy by his first name like this?

Obviously people had many different thoughts on this.

But did she care?

No....

She would never shy away from what she loved. She had shown her liking for anime publicly and she had no problem showing her love towards Yuito.

She wuv him.

She smiled as bright as she can, she was trying to light up the whole classroom with her smile.

He liked her smile, he had told her.

She went infront of his table and and greeted him like the extroverted and vivacious girl that she was.

She didn't forget to smile.

He liked her smile.

Yuito looked at her while raising a questioning brow, he aksed, "Why are you here?"

Marin pasued.

'Why.are.you.here.'

From all the sentence that had left Yuito's mouth, this was her least favourite.

It made her feel out of place. Like she didn't belong there. With him.

Like she shouldn't be there

'I should be with you Yuito.'

"What do you mean?" She asked back. She leaned closer to him and her smile became wider even though she didn't feel like it.

Had she mentioned that Yuito liked her smile?

He shook his head before the questioning look fades away, "Forget what I said, I was just surprised to see you in the first break. You always visit during the second break." he told her.

Oh, was that why he was asking her that? Not because she shouldn't be with you?

Well, she was sorry she only visit you in the second break but she promised you she would come to you any time she can from now on.

"Actually, it's great that you are here." He smiled at her. He looked happy and somewhat excited to have her here.

Yes. It was a smile for her.

She liked his smile.

He liked her smile and she liked his smile.

"I want to introduce you to someone." he said and gestured to the girl sitting beside him.

Oh, she forgot about her.

That was a problem she would have to deal with. When she was around Yuito, he immediately becomes everything. So much so that she forgot other things exist too.

Marin turned towards the girl and saw her perfectly flawless and stoic face. Marin immediately checked her from top to bottom, assessing her threat and power level.

Hmm..

The girl was a God level threat and with power level over 9000!!!

She was so beautiful that even her - as a girl - felt attracted towards her. The girl was definitely not someone Marin should leave alone with Yuito.

"Her name's Shouko Komi. She is my friend." Yuito told her with a proud smile, especially when he said the 'friend' part.

Right.

Marin had often teased Yuito about him having only one friend which was obviously her. Now, he was showing the girl off to her like a child showing off his new toy.

'See? I have it.' his face seemed to say.

And dear God why does she find his expression so cute!!

"I see." She said, trying not to show her dissatisfaction to her position being given away to another girl.

"Hi, I am Marin Kitagawa. Nice to meet you!!" She said while offering her hand.

The girl could be a good person. Marin reckoned she should try to be friendly with her first.

Maybe she wasn't after Yuito.

Komi elegantly took her hand yet she showed no expression. Not even a polite smile. She was just stoic.

That did not felt friendly at all to Marin.

Komi then stood up and looked down on Marin with her nose high. Komi was taller than her.

Then Komi just stares at Marin.

Stare.

Stare.

Stare~.

Marin now finally realised that Komi was truly an enemy. She knew it just from the look Komi had.

'So you really want to take away Yuito from me.' Marin thought to herslef.

She had heard a quote before, 'Love is war'.

And right now she was finally realising the truth behind that quote.

Though Marin would no back down. She would not allow Yuito to be stolen away from her.

Her love was something she was willing to wage a war for.

'If you want Yuito, you would have to take it off my cold fucking corpse.'

Marin smiled but not really. Because this smile hid her true emotion.

'Bring it on!!!' Marin screamed in her mind.

[Komi]

She couldn't greet her back at all!!!

The world froze again and she just stares without being able to say anything.

She hoped Marin didn't hate her because she really wanted to be friends with her.

Marin Kitagawa.

She was someone Komi had always admired and strive to be like. Someone who could fully express herself without caring about others.

So if she had the chance, she would want nothing more than to be friends.

But now that she messed up, she hoped Marin didn't hate her.

'I want to be friends with you.'
