Why didn't Voldemort and other dark wizards learn and develop nuclear magics after WWII and the Cold-War? Why was magic so focused on traditional methods that didn't employ the scientific method? This story will delve into these questions and give you my take on a Potterverse that is, at times, darker and more magical than the one I remember from the books.
