The ugly beast felt on its side when it had received that sucker punch letting out breaths of pain coughing up blood.

Shin smiled as he brought around his new giant metal arms forward that moved along with his.

Truth be told he could've used any other power for a much easier battle when he saw how easy this could be, but he wanted to try out how well he would do in his own.

There was a slight mental strain as he moved these metallic arms with the same movements as himself but he got over it as a slight headache.

The amount if time to make a model of one of the arms took only a measly thirty seconds on the spot as it was a very simple design.

Just.. taking metal from the surrounding environment, forming it into a large skeletal structure, then possess it with your own abilities like a robot.

Pretty easy if he had to say so himself but it would only get better as he got stronger in the future.

Using one of his metal arms he grabbed at a nearby knocked out tooth that was nearly half the size of his body all bloody and fool of drool grossing him out.. even though he still put it into his inventory.

The triple vision as he watched Bartlmu struggle its way up between the view of his quadruped and G.F who had since stopped fitting with the remaining swarm of devils when Alicia had called them off.

They were standing by waiting to strike them if they tried anything as they kept them from entering the gates, but he was fine with that.. he had a chance to turn the tide.

*SCRRROAAAAAR*

Quickly moving his metal arms through the ground, he managed to stop a flying boulder that had been flung directly at him leaving a small dent.

Shin smirked as he saw the demon blow smoke through its teeth with one missing like a cartoon bull that was fuming.

Alicia seemed to chuckle as well at the sight as she watched from above with a clear view.

'Maybe he is the one to save us all..' She thought.

And if he wasn't, she would be doomed either way.

Her body had slowly been transforming by the demonic energy permeating through as it started to affect her mind.

She was the only one of her kind left alive to her knowledge in the world as there could be only one queen at a time.

If she were to fully transition into a mindless demon like her once sane underlings then she would bring harm to herself and others ending their species once and for all if they got the attention of the wrong enemies.

In truth she was also afraid of shin and his companions.. especially that large.. titan that had almost wiped out her entire colony.

But she didn't have any choice left.. shaking her head from these thoughts she continued onserving the battle.

She watched those strange metal arms that grew out of the ground with metallic groans to grab at Bartlmu trying to tear one of its large plant limbs off.

It was unable to resist the attack as it couldn't budge or move as it was held into place.

With anger the demon shot out more long thorny limbs from behind itself to coil around the arms like snakes.

In frustration, shin tried to move his arms but they were stuck in place as they were slowly being crushed from the pressure.

Looking around, he brought more materials from around him to use whatever he could to aid him.

From the walls around them, Alicia saw as strange tall beings made of metal, stone and other objects formed out of the walls and began to run at Bartlmu.

In surprise, the demon saw as multiple smaller beings climbed all over him trying to tear his flesh off.

With a pained scream, it let go of its multiple slithery limbs that were trying to crush shins arms giving shin a chance for an attack.

Reforming his metal arms quickly he launched one of them pull out of the ground into a sharp metal spike aimed right at the beast.

Its large red eye widened when he saw a sharp object fly right at him giving him no time to react.

*SCREEEACCCH*

Blood spilled from its eye socket as the large metal spike had managed to pierce its large vulnerable eye drilling deep into its head.

The large demon shot out its limbs in all directions destroying his nearby creations into dust as it fell onto the ground.

Shin took a breath as he saw the demon writhe in pain like a dying spider as it tried to pull out the large shard only causing it more pain.

Taking his remaining metal hand he willed it into a large axe and moved it towards the demon.

With its remaining eye he whipped his remaining plant limbs to ward it off but was held down by a strong invisible force.

It watched as its pained face reflected on the large blade that moved up into the air before shooting down.

*SLICE*

Shin saw as the large blade flew down kicking up dirt and grime into a smoke screen.

He wasn't sure if it and died because he could still feel movement from his mechanical arm.

Alicia was in the edge of her seat like a person in a theater when it got to an important scene.

The smoke began to clear revealing the outcome.

Shins brows furled as he saw that the demon hadn't been struck down but had actually manage to catch the blade with a large pulsing arm.

In horror, he watched as it began to shed its skin and evolve.

The scene reminded him of himself when he evolved through those painful scenarios into an even stronger form.

"Shit! Get back Alicia!" He yelled as cracks began to form around Bartlmu's body shining bright red energy like it was about to explode.

In the next moment a loud boom sounded through the room pushing shin back as he managed to catch himself in the air.

His metal arm had been instantly destroyed under the shockwave of the blast

Rubbing out the blinding light from his eyes he watched as the remains of Bartlmu began to transform.

Its once large body began to grow even larger into a grotesque form of that of a demon truly from hell.

Pulling out his transformed metal spear from its head, it tossed it towards shin with fierce speeds with him luckily dodging in time into a nearby broken wall.

The newly transformed Bartlmu bore a strong resemblance to the Nemesis from resident evil in its final stage.

Bloody limbs full of muscle connected to the walls around them to support its weight.

Its body was full of shards and strange red energy that zipped around its body powering itself to new levels.

Alicia got out of her seat quickly in fear as she could feel how powerful it had become.

"T-this.. it's not possible!" She shouted as she saw its new form.

*HaAaAaA*

The monstrosity quickly turned its large head full of smiling teeth directly at Alicia when it heard her shout.

Alicia tensed when the large creature looked at her with its creepy smile being the only visible emotion.

With a swift motion the creature began to move its multiple powerful limbs to grab her.

With a shriek, she called all of her remaining Bri underlings to her aid but she was too slow as the large Bartlmu was now right in front of her.

"Shit!" Shin shouted as he began to quickly form multiple metallic limbs that pulsated with a fiery heat like a thousand degree knife.

Dozens of beings made of pure metal rose form the ground like the undead and ran at the demon continuing their barrage of attacks.

They were quickly expelled however with a large swipe from Bartlmu using one of its muscled limbs luckily.. or unlucky gaining its attention away from Alicia.

He prepared his multiple newly formed metallic limbs some resembling arms and other large weapons, all producing incredible heat.

Growling, Bartlmu shot forward all of its grotesque tentacles of muscle and flesh with lightning speeds thanks to that unknown red energy tearing holes into his robotic creations.

As one of them swept to take out a large robotic arm he willed a large sword full of searing heat down into its stretched limb only managing a small cut that barely went to the center of its thick appendage.

Roaring in anger, the demon shot all of its limbs to shin to end him once and for all.

*BZZZZ*

From behind shin the familiar swarm of the little red monsters flew in and smashed the limb away from shin just in time as they sped towards Bartlmu.

In angry, from within its throat a bright red beam of unknown energy struck the forming hoard killing many of the Bri.

Shin saw Alicia had managed to get around Bartlmu and towards him.

"I've managed to distract him.. he won't be held down for long, that energy he has.. it's that of the demon king!" She shouted as her underlings tore into its skin only to be pierced and killed by multiple more limbs.

That title again.. the demon king.

Shin had heard it once before from Azazoth.

A being of incredible power from an unknown plain outside this realm.

It was a monster that sought destruction through the universe with its sight having been set on this planet for the past thousands of years.

He tried to remember more details before asking a question; "Why are you helping me? Didn't you want me to kill this thing by myself."

Alicia stuttered as she tried to grasp for her words.

"I-I the demon king.. it's a powerful being that no one has been able to fully kill, it always reincarnates into a new form.. stronger than the last.. if it has given some of its energy to a being as powerful as Bartlmu, it'll be too strong to face alone."

She explained as she kept looking back at the slaughter of her underlings with the powerful demon.

"I can see you are already powerful to help me as you were about to kill it, but something else interfered and now it's has a power it should possess, you gained my loyalty the moment you swung that large attack!" Alicia said as she flashed a smile.

Quickly opening his interface he indeed saw that he had completed the quest.. he had succeeded.

He saw as Alicia brought her red delicate hand holding a small crown made of a shiny red material with multiple jewels engraved into it that held a power.. an authority.

Seeing what she motioned to, he lowered his head as she placed it on top of him.

"I have my own, but I didn't like wearing it without someone by my side.." She stated.

With a smile shin looked back up to Alicia with the feeling of his new title as a king embedded in him now.

"Then let me truly prove to you how powerful I can be." He said before a rumbling quake shook the area around them.

A legendary roar tore through the air.
