85 Chapter 83 - Girl Talk Pt. 1

***** Bonus Chapter ***** A/N: Sorry this is late today, but I'm super hungover LOL. Please excuse the grammar errors, but this is unedited.

Also, just for the record since I didn't explain this properly yesterday, not saying I'm not gonna put Lemons in the future LOL, just that I need more practice before they go in my story here... I'm not really happy with the quality tbh. I was considering putting my 'trial works' as part of a separate story or in discord or something, for all the 'sex scenes' that are implied for now, while im practicing. But ya, we'll see, i guess LOL. Anyways.... Hope you all Enjoy *****

Luna awoke early the following morning, with a giant smile on her face, feeling happier than she had felt in the years since her mother passed away.

Not only was she finally wasn't getting bullied at Hogwarts, with all of her things having been returned, she had even begun to make some actual friends!

Not that Luna hadn't tried to make friends upon originally arriving to Hogwarts in her first year; it was just that a majority of her year, not to mention house, had found her numerous odd actions and remarks quite weird, especially when she was speaking about nonsensical things.

As a result, she was initially avoided and shunned, eventually escalating and even leading to outright bullying, by many different students, with a majority of it being done by her own house.

Even more surprising was the fact that in many of the students heads, they felt justified in their actions.

With her classified as 'weird' by the general consensus, especially in a world of magic, where levitating things was considered normal, Luna unfortunately was an easy target, being quite quirky in her actions, not to mention, friendless.

But all of that was no fault of Luna's own.

You see, Mrs. Lovegood had tragically passed away during a magical researching accident, when Luna had been still a young witch.

And being semi-raised by her eccentric father, who was quite busy running 'The Quibbler', not to mention also losing her mother, during such a formative time in her childhood, unfortunately resulted in Luna adapting her current 'dreamy/spacy' personality, with her often times viewing and talking about made-up things.

Naturally, the many adults who saw this 'act', and knew of Luna's tragic backstory, would assume that this act is simply a developed defense/coping mechanism, due to losing her mother at such a young age. And they would be somewhat right.

But unfortunately, their assumption was not COMPLETELY right.

Although she did miss her mom, Luna in fact, actually did see things, that were invisible to the naked eye.

Similar to Khan, and his ancient magic vision, which allowed him to view not just the colors of magic, but also the nature of it, Luna also possessed a special kind of magic vision, which allowed her to view many of the 'made-up' things that she often spoke about at length.

Moon Frogs, Blibbering Humdingers, Crumple-horned Snorkacks, Heliopaths, Nargles, Wrackspurts, and even Dabberblimps; all of them were actually real magical creatures!

It just turns out, they were only viewable to those with 'chaos magic' vision, like Luna!

Unfortunately her unique magic was so rare, that nobody believed her and her claims (except of course, for her eccentric father, who wasn't taken very seriously on a professional level) instead choosing to classify her as 'weird' and 'strange', with many of her peers even going so far as to bully her.

It wasn't until she met her savior, Jordan Khan, that she finally met someone who not only didn't bully her about her behavior and random claims, but also actually defended her against such bullying behavior, going so far as to confront the entire Ravenclaw house in her defense!

Luna blushed, thinking of her savior, and how handsome he looked, making such a rousing speech in protection of her.

She was so lucky to meet him.

In fact, it seemed that meeting Jordan seemed to kick off a wave good luck for the little strange blonde girl, as afterwards, Luna would later go on to meet her teacher and master, who coincidentally was friends with her Savior!

Finding Luna wandering the Forbidden Forest in search of one her many elusive mysterious magical creatures, her teacher had apparently searched her out due to her gift in divination, wanting to mentor her, as the Grand Diviner of the European and African Continents.

Many people wished to learn from Natsai, especially with her sole protégé being Dumbledore himself, thus her teacher had been confident that Luna would accept, especially as a member of the Ravenclaw house.

But when Luna reacted with her 'dreamy/spacy' personality, insisting on searching for her numerous 'made-up' creatures instead, Luna was surprised that Natty had reacted completely different than anyone else (other than Jordan of course).

Instead of bullying her, or dismissing her claims as make-believe, she instead got more excited, and upgraded her request, going from simply wanting to mentor her in Divination, to not even asking and outright claiming Luna as her second official protégé, behind only Dumbledore!

It turns out, that her teacher actually recognized her unique magical claims, having read about 'Curmple-horned Snorkacks' of all things, in an old African manuscript she had found, when researching 'unique magical abilities'.

Natty had been researching at the time, wanting to learn more about Jordan and his ancient magical abilities to see if she could save him, but instead ended up learning about something called 'chaos magic', with an old tribesman from hundreds of years ago, documenting his experience with the unique type of magic.

And with Natty recognizing Luna's unique claims, her teacher had then insisted on taking her as a disciple, wanting to learn more about this new form of magic for herself, while simultaneously helping Luna research and master her abilities!

Luna giggled to herself, as she thought about the fact that in the span of a matter of weeks, she had gone from a girl bullied by even her own house, and been upgraded to someone that had a unique kind of magic, not to mention the same master as the 'most powerful' wizard in the world!

To think, this was all basically due to her coincidentally meeting her savior in the forbidden forest that one night, all those weeks ago.

This led her to start thinking about the prophecy she had given him, as well as what was discussed with her teacher, and Khan's other girls, last night.

And as she thought back to the details discussed, she began to grow more determined. Meeting Khan had completely changed her life since her came into her life; Luna would do her best to ensure that she returned the favor, especially with what he was bound to face with such a prophecy.

***** Where last Chapter left Off *****

"It's about his prophecy." Natty spoke out seriously, to the three listening girls.

Fleur and Luna immediately got serious, both of them recognizing what Natsai was speaking about, with Luna giving the actual prophecy to Khan, and Fleur hearing the full prophecy straight from Natty herself.

Hermione on the other hand...

"What is this about a prophecy?" She questioned with a suspicious look on her face.

Although she had heard of Natsai's many prestigious titles and accolades, Hermione was still uncertain about Divination as a magical skill, even with one of Natty's titles literally being Grand Diviner of the European and African Continents.

To hear about a 'prophecy' involving her 'older brother', especially after her rather disastrous introduction to Divination at the hands of Trelawney the previous year before, needless to say, Hermione was more than a little skeptical of the wooly subject.

"Do I sense a hint of condescension in your tone, young lady?" Natsai responded, with an eyebrow raised, before complaining aloud. "What is it with British magicals and Divination?"

"I- I'm sorry for my tone Ms Onai..." Hermione embarrassingly replied. "I had a rather unpleasant experience while studying divination last year with Prof. Trelawney, which jaded my views on the subject."

Hermione, also being a very logical person, did not understand Divination at her core. To her, there was always a right, and wrong answer. To try to learn divination, where there could be multiple correct interpretations or answers, she could not help but think of it as a wooly subject.

"Well I do hope that I can change your mind, Ms... ('Granger' Hermione responded)". Natty responded, taking on her Headmistress persona. "After all, Divination is a very mysterious vein of magic, and I have found it is often misunderstood in terms of not only its power, but also its versatility, especially in Europe!"

"Contrary to popular belief here, Divination can be used for more than just passing on a simple prophecy." She continued explaining. "From divining a hidden target's location, to more actively using divination in battle as a form of precognition allowing you to react to your enemy faster, it is a very useful piece of magic, and should not be looked down upon by anyone!"

It always amazed her that Divination was never taken more seriously as a magical subject in Britain, or Europe in General.

"I had no idea Divination could be so versatile!" Hermione commented, listening to Natsai. "I wish I was gifted in it...."

Hermione hadn't told anyone yet, but upon hearing of Natsai's numerous accolades and accomplishments that night at the beginning of the Yule Ball when Natty had been introduced by Lee, she had begun idolizing her.

A strong world famous witch, who was not only Dumbledore's mentor, but was also the ex-Chief Witch for the Wizengamot, as well as the previous Headmistress for a Magical School said to be on par with Hogwarts itself!

And just now, watching her cast that powerful time manipulating spell, as well as listening to her explain the nuances regarding Divination, needless to say, Hermione had found her own hero to look to; She was everything that Hermione strived for!

To learn about the versatility behind even her most detested subject, in Divination, had Hermione pulling a complete 180, going so far as to wish she had some talent to learn it.

"What are you talking about, young lady? What 'gifted in it'? Divination is just like any other subject!" Natsai snapped, unhappy with Hermione's current attitude. "Like anything else, you have to work hard at it, to actually receive results! Natural talent can only take you so far in Divination. It is only through hard work, practice, and practical experience, that one is truly able to master something."

"Metamorphs for example, are naturally able to change any part of their body, with but a thought. This makes them naturally gifted not only in transfiguration, but also makes it easier for them to undergo the 'animagus' ritual, their natural abilities removing many of the time-consuming steps required."

"But this doesn't mean that ONLY metamorphs are able to become Animagus. Simply that it is easier for them, as they are more 'talented' in that subject than the average person."

"Divination is the same way! There are those, like yourself and Jordan, who are seemingly very logical, making it more difficult for you to comprehend such a subjective skill like Divination. And there are those, like little Luna over here, who is more gifted in the subject, due to her strong connection with fate magic."

"In fact, I was even able to teach Jordan a few divination skills, and he probably was the most logical man I ever knew!"

Natty remembered in the past, finally being able to teach Khan how to use Divination as battle precognition, to utilize when he was out on his many adventures.

"Although Jordan was not nearly as skilled as some people are, with some rumored abilities to even see into the future with their opponents actions, he was still good enough to at least get a sense of when a spell or attack was going to impact him!"

"In fact, Jordan had even been able to eventually improve his skill, his battle precognition improving to the point where he could sense which attacks were blockable with protego, and which needed to be dodged!"

"So make no mistake Ms. Granger, everyone can learn divination, at least partially! It simply depends on how hard you work at it!"

Natsai smiled encouragingly at Hermione, who was looking very happy at her idol's acknowledgement, and newly motivated.

"Now, on to the heart of the matter, and why I gathered us all together in the first place... My student over here was able to pick up on a prophecy that has been attached to Jordan and his upcoming fate." Natty started off proudly bragging about Luna and her divination skills. "And since anything involving him always seems to escalate into overblown situations, Jordan will undoubtedly need help and partners that he can rely on."

"In the past, he had many friends, such as Poppy or myself, who would accompany him on adventures. Working together as partners, we all helped and supported each other, allowing us to collectively do great things, some of which included taking down a group of poachers as well as the Ashwinder gang, only as fifth years!"

Luna watched as her teacher got lost in her memories of old for a few seconds, pausing her story for a few moments, as she fondly remembered her old adventures, before continuing.

"Unfortunately, I am not as young as I used to be, and will not be able to support him and adventure alongside him, the way I used to all those years ago." Natty continued.

"So, with the three of you as his closest companions currently, I have instead gathered you all here because..... I have decided to entrust that job to you!"

"And the first way we can help, is by deciphering as best we can, the first and most obvious set of clues left by this prophecy!"
