Just remember, that Rita tends to make shit up, so not everything will be accurate or factual ahaha. Also her article turned out longer than expected but ya, hope you all enjoy. *****

"BLAST FROM THE PAST!

JORDAN KHAN'S MYSTERIOUS HISTORY, AND THE STORY BEHIND HIS DARK POWERS"

Khan eyes grew wide, as he read the attention grabbing headlines.

'Dark powers? Seriously?'

"Geminio!" He cast a doubling charm, copying the paper which everyone was still huddled around, and he quickly followed that up with an 'Accio!' so he could also read alongside Fleur.

Although his casting caused a little commotion amongst the reading students all huddled around Hermione, they all appeared too absorbed by the article, to create that much of a fuss.

Jordan and Fleur quickly started reading the article:

~

The infamous Khan family has seemingly returned to Great Britain, with the appearance of their new head of house, Lord Jordan Khan! But where did they disappear to for so long, and what are their intentions now that they have returned?

"Lucky for all you readers," writes Rita Skeeter, special correspondent. "This reporter has uncovered the truth and history behind the mysterious Khan family, and more importantly it's current sitting head of house."

Bursting onto the magical scene many years ago, as everybody knows, the Khan family was founded by the archmage, Genghis Khan himself, after his conquest of Asia and eastern Europe. Like all great powers however, the great empire would eventually collapse after numerous years, with the main family also facing persecution from Genghis Khan's various enemies made from his numerous conquests.

After fleeing to Great Britain in the 1600s, the Khan family would go on to establish themselves as Europe's largest Spice Trader, allowing the family itself to be quite rich and influential, eventually receiving a title of nobility from the King himself!

You read that right folks! Unlike the Sacred 28, who self-appointed themselves as nobles, simply based on their still 'truly pure-blood' status, the Khan family earned their title of nobility directly from King George II, in 1742 for 'Great Services to the Empire'.

With their rich and powerful worldly connections from their trading empire, combined with their nobility and their elemental family magic, that allowed Genghis Khan himself to conquer most of Asia and Eastern Europe, The Khan family was perhaps the most influential family in Great Britain for a period of time. Their prestige at its peak, was even greater than the Black family! They were on top of the world!

But then, suddenly, the Khan family disappeared in the early 1900s, with the apparent death of the previous head of house, Lord Jochi Khan. So where did it all go so wrong, that they had to disappear, and go underground for over a full century? How did a family that powerful, just disappear? For that, we had to investigate the Current Head of House, Lord Jordan Khan.

~

'Of course, its my fault..... damn tabloids!' Khan thought to himself, reading over the beginning of the long article. 'She's probably looking for a reason to blame me after my heavy-handed actions previously in defense of Fleur.'

He did not regret his actions that day of the 'weighing of the wands', especially considering his ever growing relationship with Fleur. He did however, note to himself that he really needed to control his angry outbursts in the future.

Speaking of Fleur...

Looking over to her, Khan saw that she appeared to be quite satisfied with what she had read so far, regarding Jordan's family history.

In truth, Khan was getting better at reading her, as Fleur was indeed feeling rather satisfied at reading the article. At first anyways.

Although she had heard of the Khan family through the many widespread tales that exist regarding the infamous founder, Genghis Khan, she had no idea Jordan's family was so previously powerful and established in England. She only really knew about Genghis originally, after all....

However, she did not like how the article appeared to insinuate it was her husba- Jordan's fault, with that most recent paragraph.

Perhaps she should have her 'Papa' look into this Skeeter woman...

She continued reading, after making a mental note to message her family later.

~

So who is Lord Jordan Khan? A handsome and powerful young lord, he seemingly appeared out of nowhere, appearing quite kind and well-mannered.

"Oh yes, Lord Khan was quite well-mannered when I first met him!" Says Minister Cornelius Fudge, about Lord Khan. "Very smart chap, with a good head on his shoulders. Him and his business will be a welcome addition to the British Magical Community!"

Appearing quite close to Headmaster Dumbledore, he first appeared in public, at the Quidditch World Cup, stating his intentions to return the Noble Khan name to Great Britain!

The Daily Prophet has discovered however, that this farce of dragging the Khan family name back into prominence, would simply be a mask, with Jordan Khan's greater intentions set on something much more sinister.

He first set about joining Hogwarts at the age of 16. Now.... One might think that this Young Lord would attend as a student. You would, however, be wrong!

Jordan thought himself better than other students, and used his mysterious influence over the headmaster to create and secure a brand new post of Junior Professor, the first ever seen at Hogwarts, and placing him in a unique position of power.

An alarmingly skilled elementalist, like his many-times-great grandfather Genghis, Jordan has been using his newfound authority to terrify the students in his care, teaching both Defense and Charms classes.

While Dumbledore turns a blind eye, Jordan has harassed several students during his various lessons, that many students admit to being quote 'very frightening.'

"He walks around like he owns the entire school." States Roger Davies, a 6th year student. "We all hate Jordan, but with all his angry outbursts, we're too scared to say anything."

"I was attacked by him in one of his classes!" Says Ronald Weasley, a 4th year student. "He just does whatever he wants."

This little bit of power however, was simply not good enough for him. Unsatisfied, with his new found promotion, Jordan Khan proceeded to steal a valuable Triwizard Tournament spot, from other older, more qualified students, no doubt, once again using his mysterious influence over Headmaster Dumbledore.

~

"Stole the tournament spot? Seriously?" Khan grumbled aloud as he read that most recent paragraph. "Dumbledore didn't even pick the champions!"

"What a load of rubbish!" Fleur agreed with Jordan, hugging him tighter around his arm, and looking up, slightly staring into his eyes to give him some comfort. "Like there exist more qualified students over you..."

Fleur was definitely going to have her 'Papa' investigate Skeeter now.

~

Upon just returning to Britain, Jordan Khan had already become a Junior Professor. And now, after stealing a spot, he had become a Hogwarts Triwizard Champion.

At 16 years old, the young Head of House had already begun to succeed at reintroducing the Khan family back to magical society. Quite impressive, especially for his age.

But now, the Daily Prophet has unearthed evidence that Jordan is not - as he has always pretended - a 16 year old young wizarding lord. In fact, he is not even young anymore!

Lord Jordan Khan, we can exclusively reveal, is none other than the son of Lord Jochi Khan, the previous head of house who died mysteriously right before the Khan family disappeared.

Thats right! Jordan Khan is actually over 100 years old!

But then how is it that he is masquerading around as a 16 year old wizard, still attending Hogwarts?

The answer, my friends, is Dark Magic.

The signature magic of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and his death eaters, it appears Jordan Khan was able to maintain his youth, utilizing Dark Magic Rituals, apparently starting his evil deeds, all the way back at the Quidditch World Cup, trouble seemingly following Lord Khan everywhere he goes.

"Several corpses were found after the world cup riot, each of them appearing to have gone through extreme trauma, for the suspected purpose of Dark Magic Rituals." Reports Walden Macnair, a Ministry worker. "Jordan Khan himself, was found fighting with over 4 squads of Ministry Aurors, with 2 squads already completely incapacitated."

"Jordan Khan was questioned, and freed that night due to a lack of evidence against him." States Bartemius Crouch, a Ministry Official. "He is however, a prime suspect in that night's evil affairs."

"It Turns out, that Mr. Crouch may have been right to suspect Jordan with trouble soon following him to Hogwarts."

~

"Why would Mr. Crouch suspect you?" Fleur asked. "This is the same Mr. Crouch that is a judge for the Triwizard Tournament, no?"

"Yes... that's right." Khan did not believe there could be yet another person named Bartemius Crouch, especially with his son, Crouch Jr, recently deceased.

"Then why would he suspect you for the World Cup Riot...."

"I don't think he actually does." Khan responded to Fleur.

However, Khan now knew that it was not Crouch who made that report. Not really.

It was Voldemort! Controlling Crouch through the Imperius curse.

'Bloody wanker is actually actively working against me....'

~

While there exist a few known 'life-extending' methods, many of them, such as Unicorn's blood, or the Philosopher's stone, come with their own negative drawbacks. It is only through the use of dark magic, and the sacrifice of Human life in their rituals, that these drawbacks are no longer present in this form of life extension.

Although we at the Daily Prophet, were not able to find the ritual used, based on evidence found at the scene, it is assumed that the Dark Magic Ritual utilizes some form of 'life-stealing' magic, allowing Jordan to continue stay looking young.

The utilization of magical rituals, especially those that are Dark Magic in nature, is of course, very closely restricted by the Ministry. Jordan Khan however, considers himself to be above such petty regulations, even going on to blatantly begin to cause trouble at Hogwarts, even with his relatively powerful positions.

Cursing out the Triwizard Tournament Judges. Stealing a Dragon.

Jordan even caused trouble for Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived, and brought around You-Know-Who's fall from power, forcibly entering him into the Triwizard Tournament. For what purpose however, this reporter can only speculate.

"I would've preferred to not be a champion." Harry Potter, The Boy-Who-Lived confesses. "I was looking forward to a regular year for once."

In a bizarre twist of fate, Jordan is reported to have developed a close friendship with Harry. Perhaps Harry Potter is unaware of the unpleasant truth about his rather ancient friend - But Albus Dumbledore surely has a duty to perform to ensure that Harry, along with the rest of the student population, is warned of the dangers of associated with Dark Magic users, such as Jordan Khan.
