Chapter 139: Ye Han vs Ares

The adventurers who rush first could defend themselves from the normal soldiers as some of them got magic items while some have stronger strength and agility than their enemies. Ye Han rushes to the front line as a soldier charges at him with a long spear at his hand, he easily dodges it as he grabs the spear in the middle and breaks it in half making the soldier holding it pushes back. Ye Han grabs the nearest two soldier's heads and bumps them with each other.

The adventurers beside Ye Han supported him as he slaps the soldiers coming at Ye Han's back with his giant club. Ye Han smiled and pats the adventurer's soldier as he continues on charging forward. The soldiers in the front line couldn't stop the charging Ye Han as he dodges all their attacks and grabs their weapon or head and throw them away to their allies like a rag doll. They were at mercy's door as Ye Han only beat them brutally and didn't kill them as he could some of them were good people. Ye Han shouted

"Adventurers! Fire The Spells!"

"WATER PUMP!"

"FREEZE RAY!"

"EXPLOSION!"

Countless of elemental spells were release as the soldiers who saw the spells coming to their direction started to run back, Ares who was on the outer back line of the army shouted

"DON'T RETREAT! FIGHT BACK!"

Soldiers fell down as they slide to the ground, the water flooded the ground as it turned into ice after the freeze ray was cast. Ye Han who was running started to Ice skate as he started to do skating moves, he raises his foot and became like a Beyblade that spins in a minimum speed. The soldiers who were hit by Ye Han's feet flew to their allies as they fainted from the damages that they acquired, Gareth stabs the ground with his grand ax as the ground started to break apart. a couple of dozen soldiers fell through the 5-meter hole while some manage to retreat safely.

The battle continues as Ye Han easily slip pass the enemy line while beating up a couple of soldiers, Ares who notice Ye Han charging at him. He laughs as he took the sword out of his sheath and shouted

"MORTAL DARE CHALLENGE A GOD?! I ADMIRE YOUR COURAGE, BUT STRENGTH IS THE ONE WHO DECIDES THE WAR!"

"Tsk, Idiot..."

Ye Han muttered which was not heard by Ares who made an attacking stance. Ye Han took a sword from one of the generals he passes by. He could see that Ares even without the use of arcanum was still a master of weapons and war, Ares initiated his attack as he disappeared from the sights of the spectators. While Ye Han can see him like he was slow as a snail, he started to walk slowly as deflects the incoming feign attack of Ares. Ares who didn't know that Ye Han already knows his strategy still continues to do he feigns attack.

Ares acted like he was slashing down which was aim at the middle part of Ye Han, but in the midway of his attack. He changes trajectory and turned the slashing into a piercing movement, Ye Han who already notice this had just raised his sword and breaks Ares's sword in half. Even though Ares's equipment was very high quality that was made by grandmaster blacksmith, it is still useless when it's up against the word Ultimate Speed. The generals and soldiers behind Ye Han didn't dare to move as the match of Ares and Ye Han seem to be a gentleman's duel.

Even the adventurers in the front line, as well as the soldier, stops fighting as they could hear strong impacts from Ye Han and Ares's clash. Ares threw away his broken sword and grab two swords from the nearest general beside him while Ye Han took another sword from the soldier beside him. Ares had his crazy grin as this is what he really wants. A battle of the strongest, Ares unequip his red metal armor as he needed more speed to counter the attack the broke his sword.

A battle maniac who was comparable to Viking people, Ares's speed was faster than before as when he made a sword slash, an air slash charges at Ye Han who confidently counter Ares's air slash with his own. The spectators took a few steps backward as the wind was strong, Ye Han raises his dual sword as Ares appeared in front of him, he crosses his sword which blocks off the two swords that was currently aiming for his head.

Ares was very surprised that a mortal could battle against the god of war, he smiled maniacally as he continued his wild attack. Each attack that he made, increases the strength of the next attack. Ye Han could see the profound technique of Ares the god of war, he respectfully receives the attacks with just being in a defensive stance and blocking them off. This made Ye Han do the matrix dodge as he moves his back downward and fastly does a backstroke with his hand, Ares who thought that he won.
