33 Chapter 33: Celebration; Summons

Continuing our walk around town, I smiled when I heard Kurenai's stomach grumble. Looking at her, she blushed lightly.
"I guess we have to get something to eat, hmm?"
Chuckling, Anko wrapped her arms around both of us.
"I think a little celebration is in order, yeah? After all, we just got married~"
A gentle smile spread on my face, and I raised my left hand, looking at the ring. Turning to look at Anko, I kissed her cheek, nodding.
"I guess we can afford one day of celebration..."
Chuckling, Anko led us through Konoha, before bringing us to the familiar Yakiniku Q. Looking at each other, Kurenai and I both gave wry smiles.
Seeing that, Anko tilted her head, before shrugging. Walking in, we quickly got led to a private room.
Since it was still relatively early, few people were here.
"So, what are you in the mood for? Beef, Pork, Chicken?"
Pursing my lips, I said "Beef, personally."
Kurenai nodded, and when the server came back, Anko said "Two beef platters, please. Oh, and a flight of Sake too."
Turning back towards us, Anko smiled. "I don't know about you two, but after trying on all those clothes, I'm beat. So, after we eat and drink, how about returning home and finishing the day off with a 'bang'?"
Giving Anko a dry look, I sighed, before a wide grin spread on my face. "Yeah, let's do that~"
Anko stared at me, her eyes filled with desire, before looking at Kurenai.
"So, I meant to ask, but why were both of you acting weird when we came here?"
Kurenai blushed, looking at the floor. Smirking, Anko moved closer to her, wrapping her arm around her. "Tell me~"
Blushing deeper, Kurenai looked up at me, her eyes pleading for help.
Smirking at her, I stayed quiet, watching as Anko continued to torment her.
When the server returned with a large platter of beef and a small tray of Sake, Kurenai breathed a small sigh of relief when Anko moved away.
Placing a few slices of meat on the grill, I heard Anko pour some sake into some glasses. Unlike last time, I didn't immediately down my glass, instead deciding to wait until I had some food in my system.
Flipping the meat, I felt Anko slide next to me, her arm over my shoulder while her hand grabbed my breast. Raising the hot tongs, I smiled at her, making her move away with a flinch. Pouting, she looked between Kurenai and I.
"Come on~ Tell me what happened here~"
Chuckling, I said "Are you sure?"
Nodding her head furiously, I looked towards Kurenai, who refused to meet my gaze.
"Well, the day before you came back, Kurenai asked me to come here. She booked a room like this, and like now we had food and sake. Except, we drank a little too much, and Kurenai got bold~"
At that, Anko smirked at Kurenai, before leaning towards me, looking intrigued.
"Kurenai here stole a piece of meat from my mouth, before she wanted me to take a taste of her own~"
Her smirk growing, Anko chuckled as she looked at the red Kurenai.
"So the normally gentle and passive Kurenai took the lead with you, hmm? So why is it that whenever we are all together she is so... bland~?"
At that, Kurenai glared at Anko. "I am NOT bland!"
Chuckling again, Anko moved closer, taking a swig of sake before kissing her. Seeing Kurenai swallowing, I shook my head. Pulling away, Anko licked her lips, while Kurenai blushed.
"I think she might change when she has liquor in her system, Anko. Besides, she's nice and gentle in bed, unlike you~"
Like that, we slowly talked and bickered, eating and drinking all that we ordered.
Stumbling through the streets, we laughed at the stupidest things. Since many people were still out and about, they gave us dirty looks, before ignoring us.
Making our way to the Mitarashi Compound, we eventually made our way to the bedroom, where I was promptly stripped and ravished until the next day.

Groaning, I gradually opened my eyes. Feeling my head pounding and my muscles aching, I groaned again, before slowly running medical chakra through my body, moaning when I felt the aches and pains slowly dissipate.
Looking around, I saw Kurenai laying on top of Anko, both passed out. Getting up, I started my new morning routine.
Washing myself off, laying in the bath, helping both Anko and Kurenai calm down, and then dress.
As we prepared to leave the compound again, an ANBU appeared in front of us.
"Lord Hokage has summoned you three to hear the decisions for promotion. He wishes to see you at the Hokage Tower soon."
Saying so, he flickered away. Looking at each other, we all felt slightly giddy, quickly making our way to the Hokage Tower.
Reaching the top, we saw the Hokage finishing some paperwork. Looking around the room, I saw no one else, but knew that a few ANBU were waiting in the shadows.
"Ah, Anko, Kokoro, Kurenai. Good morning. I'll be just a minute..."
Gesturing to the couch, we all sat down, waiting. Moments slowly passed, with Anko fidgeting slightly and Kurenai clenching and unclenching her hands. I was also nervous, grabbing the pendant around my neck, finding reassurance in it.
Sighing, the Hokage placed the paper off to the side, stretching.
"Advice for you all. If, for some reason, you are offered the Hokage position, decline it. In fact, beat whoever is offering you the position. It's just paperwork, paperwork, and more paperwork..."
Sighing, he looked back up at us, smiling gently.
"Well, the main reason I summoned you all here is to tell you..."
Leaning forwards, we looked at the Hokage, waiting to hear his announcement.
"That all three of you have been promoted to Special Jonin."
At that, I collapsed back into the couch, smiling widely. Kurenai covered her mouth, her shoulders shaking slightly. Meanwhile, Anko had jumped up, screaming "YES!"
For a few moments my mind was blank, and when I came to I grabbed Anko and pulled her back down on the couch. Bowing to the Hokage, I still couldn't stifle my grin.
"Thank you so much, Lord Hokage..."
Waving his hands, he said "Really, all three of you deserve it. From what Kakashi told me, you, Kokoro, are quite an exemplary Kunoichi. You are quite skilled in in chakra control, your mastery over your own body is admirable, and your number of completed missions is commendable. Anko, you are quite an efficient assassin, and your knowledge of poisons makes you quite invaluable. In fact, Ibiki Morino has requested that you be placed in the Interrogation department because of it. Kurenai, your Genjutsu is exemplary, and when paired with your quick speed and reflexes, you are quite deadly. On top of that, your record in the Academy influenced your promotion as well; you are a great teacher, and as such, I hope you will lead a Genin squad in the near future."
Turning to look at me, the Hokage asked "What are your plans, Kokoro? Will you join the Academy, or stay on the field?"
"I wish to join the Academy in the upcoming year, Lord Hokage. If I eventually am allowed to lead a Genin squad, I will return to the field; otherwise, I think I will be staying in Konoha."
He nodded, before asking "So, are you doing the typical Shinobi sendoff? One last mission, before 'retiring'?"
I nodded, and he grinned. "Well, I have just the mission for you. When you are done your time off, come meet me early in the morning at the Academy. Shikaku and I have been trying to get a good team together..."
Finishing, he nodded at us, before sighing and grabbing another paper. Grabbing his pipe, he took a hit before blowing the smoke into the air. Sighing again, he started reading the paper.
Taking that as our sign to leave, we bowed to the Hokage before exiting the Tower.
Walking silently through the town, we looked at each other, noticing the spark in each others eyes.
"Haha~ We are now Jonin~"
Saying so, Anko grinned, looking between Kurenai and I.
Smiling, I nodded my head, ecstatic. "Even if it's just Special Jonin... we became something everyone dreams about!"
Laughing, Kurenai nodded her head. "I wonder what Lord Hokage has planned for us?"
I shook my head, before smiling.
"Well, whatever it is, I bet you it will give us incredible memories..."
