2 - Life in the academy.
The classes are boring, no surprises here. I just thought that as a person who was not originally a shinobi I would be more interested in knowing more about the world, but the classes are just things I already know like basic math, english, biology and some stuff that don't really matter like all the clans that existed or still exists in Konoha, which i thought it would be cool to learn bust most aren't even shinobi clans, just civillians, and the ones who are shinobi clans I already knew.
The teacher said that starting in the second year, we will start having training and not just classes, I guess they really want the next generation of shinobis to be a bunch of smart asses. Seeing the kids of this class, and knowing the future, I bet they will be disapointed to know that these are all just extras to the story who probably won't even become chunin. Besides me, Itachi and Shisui, the only one who has a chance is one called Saisu Kamano, who is mediocre at best, and even if with all the future events happening he somehow survive as a shinobi, he won't even become a Jonin as not only his talent is horrible, he don't really work hard and is just a little stronger than the others because he keeps fighting other kids as his personality is trash.
Now let's go to the ones that what trully matters, me, Itachi and Shisui, we are the top 3 in that order, is not that I'm a genius like Shikamaru or something, but compared to these kids I'm still smarter and I was always a wise guy. Shisui is stronger than Itachi tho, the only reason Itachi is top 2 and not him is because Itachi is smarter and have to impress his father.
Speaking of talents, I realized that for some reason the ammount of chakra I have is insane for someone with no clan, I problably have the ammount of chakra that Naruto have without the Kurama, with is a lot considering the ammount of shadow clones he did right after learning the skill.
Aparently, every year until the graduation the top 3 will have a contest in the end of the year to decide the strongest, and the winner will receive a prize from the hokage himself, who will witness the fights. I guess this is his way of compensating for not giving his famous speech of the will of fire in the first day like he always do, the kyuubi's tragedy must really have made him busy. Besides, it's a good way to nurture the strenght and motivate this new generation. I admit, the man is smart.
Finally! I can finally do the leaf exercise for more than an hour. Now, I must go to the next fase, walking on a tree gathering my chakra on my feet. This training exercise I can't do in the bathroom tho, should I go to a training ground? I guess now that I'm an academy student I do have a excuse to do it, so let's go.
At the third training ground, he started gathering chakra on his feet and tried to walk on the tree, but it was to much chakra and he got pushed away from the tree, which was not dangerous at all because he had a pretty good control over his body after all the taijutsu training he did. After, he tried again, only to fail. He still kept trying for more 4 minutes, when he finally succeed to stay glued with the tree, but when he tried walking he failed again
I'm probably more talented than Sakura, but her results were much better than mine, I believe it's due to the much superior amount if chakra that I have, which makes it harder for me.
After 10 more minutes, he succeeded. Now, let's walk in the water. I don't want to make my clothes wet, tho. I guess I could go to the thermal fonts if I had the money, but as I do not have it, my only other option is to go to the pond, if I succeed in the first try I won't get wet, right?
SHIT, THAT'S MUCH HARDER! Even if the water looks calm it still moves enough to make me lose control, unlike the tree.
After 30 minutes he achieved it.
Let's go to the academy now for the class, and after class, and after class I can do my taijutsu training routine. It's taking to much time now to really get tired, I should get some seal weights, but I need money and for that I need to graduate, maybe I should focus on ninjutsu for a time until I win the contest on the end of the year and ask the hokage for the weight seal.
Arriving at class, he sitted besides Itachi and Shisui.
Shisui: Hey, bro.
Itachi: Hi, Damian.
Damian: Hello.

Silence between the three took the place, while the other kids were very noisy. The three of them was interested in being friends with eachother, but other than shinobi stuff, they don't have much in common.
For Itachi and Shisui, Damian was really interesting, as he was the stronger of them without a kekkei genkai, or being for a famous clan, he didn't even train like a crazy or obcessed person, he was simply better. Besides, he was cool because of his maturity from his previous life.
As for the reason for Damian's interest in them, well, they're important charactera from Naruto, besides their talent.
