Hillary's POV
I am at the bed and was about to have a rest when my phone beeps and I saw Sky's name on the caller ID.
"Hello?" I greeted him. Yeah, we're fine. After the day Veia confessed her feelings for Sky, it seems like everything came back from what it was before, except sa'min ni Veia, hindi pa rin kami nag-uusap, pero si Sky, we're totally good! No awkwardness at all, no disappointment, as in wala, magkaibigan na ulit kami, all of a sudden.
"HILLARY!" I was damn surprised when he literally shouted. The hell is wrong with him?
"Anong meron?" I asked.
"Hillary, you wouldn't believe this," he sounded so happy, ha, "kami na ni Veia!"
And, my room filled with deafening silence. Then, I smiled after a second, "c-congrats!" I replied.
"Damn, Hillary! I am so happy to death!"
He really is, no doubt. At, masaya rin ako. This is the happiness he really deserves to have. After all those sacrifices, pains, and sadness he felt, finally, he's happy again. But, it's just so ironic, the person who gave him those negative feelings is the same person who's now giving him happiness...but I also find it...cute and astonished.
"Alam na ba 'yan ng parents niyo?" I asked after a minute.
"Hmm, we're gonna tell it to them, ASAP."
"I see. So, baka naman gusto mong manglibre bukas," I pulled a joke.
"Oh, sure! Kahit saan mo pa gusto," kumagat naman. Tsk, tsk!
"Tss, just kidding," I replied. "Anyways, magpakasaya ka na riyan and I'm gonna have my rest na, I feel so exhausted this day," I added. Tss, sino ba kasing hindi, eh halos buong araw akong nasa mall kasama si Boy Pandak, bibili na nga lang ng perfume kailangan pa ng kasama at sobrang tagal pang makahanap! Kung 'di niya lang talaga ako nilibre ng kung anu-ano at nanuod kami ng straight 5 hours na horror movies baka iniwan ko na siya sa mall.
"Alright! See you tomorrow, Hillary!" woah, he's so happy, really!
I put down my phone and went downstairs. Akala niyo matutulog na ako, no? Tss, nawala 'yong antok ko. Sadyang ayaw ko nang makausap si Sky. Tsk! After all, he's done telling me what he wanted to say.
"Hey, Aeiou," Kuya Zeus said as he'd seen me. I just raised my hand. I can't speak, I'm drinking water.
"Why are you drinking alone?" I asked and sat in front of him. Siya lang mag-isa rito sa kusina. Hindi pa yata umuuwi sina Mama at Papa.
"I'm so stressed and tired."
"Ayan, gusto pa mag pulis, mapapagod naman pala sa pagrereview for the upcoming examination."
"Tss. Gusto ko, eh. Tsaka, you'll also feel the same soon."
"I know," I stood up and get a glass, "here, pour me some," I said as I gave him my glass.
"Why?"
"Anong why? Dinadamayan kita sa pagod at pagkakastressed mo."
"Really?"

"Dali na, bigyan mo na ako," and he finally followed me, "ako nga, Kuya, first-year pa lang, first sem, pero napapagod na ako," I uttered.
"You just need to have a motivation, Aeiou," he replied.
"May motivation naman ako, pero minsan nakakawalang gana pa ring pumasok."
"How about finding a boyfriend?"
"Tss! How about finding a girlfriend? Kuya, 23 ka na tapos NGSB pa rin. Hina mo siguro."
"Hindi ah. It's just...I still haven't found her yet."
"Kailan mo pa siya makikita? Kapag sobrang tanda mo na?"
"It depends, Aeiou. There's always a right time for that and I'll just wait for that moment to come. Let's not rush things. Let's enjoy every single day of our lives. Then, you wouldn't expect that right time finally comes."

I stopped drinking and stood up, "matutulog na ako," I said.
"Wait, Aeiou..."
"Hmm?"
"...si Sky? Okay na ba kayo?"
Oo nga pala, ang alam ni Kuya, eh iniiwasan ko pa rin si Sky. Hindi nga niya alam na naging okay na kami, tapos nag-iwasan ulit, tapos ngayon okay na. Minsan na lang kasi kami magpang-abot dito sa bahay. Minsan kasi sobrang pagod na siya at 'di na siya nakakauwi rito. Doon na lang siya sa condo niya nananatili dahil malapit lang sa school kung saan siya nagrereview.
"Yeah, totally fine," I replied. "And, he's presently so happy."
"Bakit?"
"He's finally in a relationship with his best friend."
"Ha? 'Yong girlfriend ng kambal niya?"
"Yeah."
"Woah! Their world evolves at one girl," hindi ko na siya pinakinggan at aalis na sana nang magsalita na naman siya. Lasing na yata 'to, "is that the reason why you're drinking?" he asked, showing me his damn smirk!
With knitted brows, I said, "no."
"Really?"

"Why are you getting mad?"

He suddenly laughed so hard, "Aeiou, just find another man," he said.
"Kuya! What kind of nonsense sh*t are you talking about?"
"I know you're confused. Go ahead and sleep," he said, smiling.
I walked closer to him, then I kissed his cheek, "good night," I uttered.
"Good night, Aeiou, you can get over this."
"Shut up!" then I left him laughing like there's no end. Tss! Lagi niya talaga akong pinagkakatuwaan! Lagi niya pang sinasabi na gusto ko si Sky kahit 'di naman! Damn it!
