A Kingdom Begins

After being kicked out of his apartment in New York, he had nothing left until he got a notification that he can explore a new world. With nothing to lose, he accepted his chance. Maybe this one won't be so bad. I always did like strategy games. Maybe I will create a kingdom.

Working on myself. [Month 4 Day 16]

After explaining to Liko the economic system I then went home to work on the village and myself as I feel that I have been falling behind on the training as I am pretty sure by now most of the guards are going to be stronger than me.

It didn't take long to get back home and have a quality sit down. The kind where you just get home from a busy day and you just flop down and sink into your sofa or bed. Letting out a big breath and just deflating.

Getting into my room I flop down onto the bed and allow myself to just deflate and just take a moment to rest whilst I can.

Laying on the bed I can hear lots of tapping and feet hitting the floor. Rowling over and looking towards the door I can see a swarm of fur and paws running towards me being led by Rex and Freya.

It quickly rushes towards me and rises and falls on me like a tidal wave of warm fluffy fur.

Rex and Freya joined me on my bed and all the puppies have joined swarming onto the bed to cuddle with me.

I am then assaulted by licks to the face while the rest of my body is covered in a blanket of fur. Their body heat seeps through them and onto me warming me and giving me a warm welcome home.

Me: "Hello, Hello, have you been good whilst I have been away." I say whilst rubbing and petting Rex and Freya as they giddily snuggle up to me almost trying to morph themselves into me.

Me: "And look at the rest of you, how are you already getting so big."

Picking the puppies up and getting a good look at them I can see that they have all grown a massive amount whilst I have been away. Looking at all their ranks they are all still none rank but they are all getting larger already.

This is the way to live being surrounded by puppies and family.

That was when I decided that I would take the day off and just spend it messing around and I would pick up my work tomorrow. Sounds a bit like procrastination but sometimes you need a bit of a rest. I feel like I have been saying that a lot lately. It's fine I will do the work tomorrow. Sounds like the words to disaster but. Meh.

Getting up early the next day and whilst having breakfast I think of what I want to get done now.

The main thing is levelling up and getting my skills up. I have been lacking as I am certain it has been months since I levelled up which is bad on my part but it's never too late to get back into it and start up again.

In terms of the village, I think that I will just leave it to expand and grow on its own. Of course, keeping an eye on the system using the core but another wise I need to let it just kind of settle in.

Sounds like to me I have a stress-free couple of days. Hell yes.

Right where to level up. The best bet is the dark forest and with plenty of extra time, I can spend much of it in the forest. Sounds good. Might be a sound idea to drop in with the guards and Valret and check in on the guards.

With breaky done, I look for Valret which was easy as I know that they do training early in the morning at the front of the village.

I'm met with a good site of soldiers in teams fighting against one another. I also see archers doing aim practice not far away on simple targets which are just sticks of wood at different heights and are just sticking out the ground.

Me: "VALRET, quick chat."

From one of the fighting groups, I see Valret disengage from the fights and makes his way towards me.

Valret: "Sir."

Me: "Sergeant, how have you been."

Valret: "Things are good."

Me: "How is the training and how is everyone progressing."

Valret: "Fantastic sir. We have followed your previous training and kept with it making sure to get better in teamwork and coordination. We have also been following the training you have told us about to get the free stat points and have managed to get everyone complete on that with everyone having the full 100 free points on each stat that we can excluding WILL. I can also report that all soldiers are in the E rank area some reaching into the D rank area. Everyone has classes and has gotten to rank two in them as well."

Ah, it hurts. I have fallen behind, but what can you expect.

Me: "Good work. The only other thing I want you to incorporate into your training is pushing people to their limits. If someone buckles under the pressure in a fight it could be disastrous to everyone else. I need you to build up everyone's characters and metal. Give them gruelling tasks that make them uncomfortable, exhausted, like a living hell. Because if they can survive hell, they can survive everything. Also, to train WILL ..."

From what I learned from the elves I give a description to Valret about how to train it.

Valret: "I feel that the stat is less important for the others sir."

Me: "I feel like is more personal for what a person wants to become. I imagine that mixing WILL with a good class could be powerful and it's not exactly hard to train so I want you to do it so you can at least get the free points."

Valret: "Leave it to me, sir."

Me: "Good work."

That was the only thing for the village so it's time to catch back up with the guards. Can't be left behind because how can I lead them if I can't even defend myself.

To the dark forest and for some hunting. Hold up what level is Rex and Freya as I know that they have been out hunting whilst I have been working. They often left the house as I assume that whilst I was working, they were bored out of their minds. They also needed to eat.

AHH. Even my children are way stronger than me. They are probably close to evolving as well.

Come on. Just get it done and catch up to them and do what you always have done. Grind the work and keep on doing it until your head explodes. A proper quote that is. Definitely.
