A Believer
'how the hell do I get followers?' sitting within a classroom, a young with long white hair sat in the back of the classroom, looking at the many other classmates within this room. this young man was Sora, in his past life he died and was reborn into this new world with a system.
but to unlock the system he needed followers to empower the system, he only needed one follower. but this was proving to be harder than expected as the system gave him nothing and he didn't start off with anything to make him god-like.
Closing his eyes, he went through the information he knew about this world. what was the best way to do this? he wanted to use the knowledge he held about this world to make everyone think he was some god, but would that not make him a target?
"Sora," the sensei called out seeing Sora was not paying attention, Sora look up lazily and saw that the whole class had in front of the class, ready for the test for the class to get their headbands. Sora sighing, lazily went up and stood among the other.
'I don't need to show my face... what if I create some god, who is all-knowing and give people knowledge of the future. although doing this might lead to me not knowing what the future holds, I would have to be careful with what I give them so that they don't end up changing the future too much.' He thought while watching the academy students using the transformations Jutsu one after another, passing the test and getting the ninja hand band
soon it was his turn, and he made the hand seal needed and went on to transform into the sensei. after which, he got his headband and went on to step to the side, but someone caught his eye. A blonde hair kid with cat-like whiskers
'yes, he would do. someone as dumb as him would be perfect. he would tell others and others would come once they find out how true my words would be. but I have to pick the right timing... wait, would he not still the scroll of sealing?' Sora thought as he smiled before walking off, the blonde-haired kid was named Naruto. he was the only one who would end up failing the test
later that day, Naruto was sitting on a swing all alone with a downcast look, watching everyone else who had past the test celebrating.
"Naruto," Sora said calmly as he walked up to Naruto, confusing Naruto that someone would want to talk to him. but he quickly guessed he was about to be mocked and bullied like the other times. but seeing it was Sora, he was even more confused. Many bullied him, yet there were a few who were nice to him.
Sora stood in the middle of such a group. he didn't bully him or throw any disgusted looks toward him, but Sora was a lone wolf. he kept to himself and hated pointless talk. Sora and another guy named Sasuke were pretty much the same, the school's pretty emo boys who all eyed. but most of the girls hung around Sasuke as he although get annoyed by it all, it wasn't Sora whose face showed his annoyance, scaring the girls away.
"No need to be downcast... I asked my god who would pass the test and become a ninja, and he said everyone would. including you. but yours would be special, he said it shall happen later at night after you take down someone chunin." Sora said with a smile, confusing Naruto as everything that came out of Sora's mouth sounded like crazy talk.
Sora turned around after getting far and noticed one of the sensei speaking to Naruto to someone, Sora smiled and went on to head home, where he entered an empty home. Sora's parents died 12 years ago when a 9-tail fox attacked the village.
being the village elites ninjas, they had to act quickly, but they were among the many that died that die. currently, Sora only had one family member remaining in this world, but although they were family they were not super close or anything.
Sora went on to head to bed, he was unable to sleep as his mind raced on everything he should do with Naruto to make him believe. He soon fell asleep and the next morning he woke up and took a bath before going on to get something to eat. after which, he headed back to the academy where he stumbled upon Naruto who seemed to have been waiting for him.
"How did you know?" Naruto rushed over causing those who were in his way to quickly move aside as if he had some illness they didn't want to get. Naruto ignored them and arrived before Sora.
everything Sora said yesterday was true, it turned out one of the sensei was trying to steal the scroll of seals, a scroll which held many forbidden jutsu left behind by the second Hokage, but luckily everything turned out well and Naruto defeated him and saved one of the other sensei.
"As I said, my god told me... today we would be put into teams of 3, I asked my god once more and I know your team. you would be with someone you are more than happy with being together and another who would be the complete opposite." Sora said with a slight smile, stunning Naruto who quickly began thinking of who he could be with.
"wait, can your god see further into the future?" Naruto asked to which Sora nodded slightly, making Naruto's eyes brighten but before he could ask the question Sora stopped them.
"I can't tell you something so far ahead if you are not a believer. Have faith in my god and your dreams can become a reality, of course, he would not do it for you, but he would help guide you to that future you wish for. if you have the willpower to reach it, then you can become something bigger than a Hokage, hell you can have the whole world respect you for thousands of years to come." Sora said with a smile, stunning Naruto who was moved slightly.
"There are many dangers and trouble you would face to become Hokage. many troubles you caused with the trouble you go around making. My god has told me all about you and wished for me to help guide you." Sora said shocking Naruto even more.
"You wish to become Hokage right? you lack 3 things to do, strength, brain, and support. allow me to guide you, you suffered enough under this curse fate you have. but my god shall change it all, and help you take control of your fate." Sora asked making Naruto hesitate while looking at Sora's hand.
"You think you can control your fate with your own hands? everything you say, do, or think is already written within the Book of Fate. from birth, everything you did was fated to be done, but now you have a chance to step out of that book of fate and become someone writing his fate. My god shall give you that power, would you accept it?" Sora asked seeing Naurto about to refuse, it wasn't hard to guess Naruto thought,
so when Naruto heard Sora's words, he was shocked once more. He was shocked, how could Sora have guessed what he would have said, but Sora's words seemed to be true? if he wishes to break his fate, but fate allowed him to have such wishes, when he breaks fate did he break it, or was he still within fate's hands?
"How can your god break fate?" Naruto asked softly,
"is it not simple? My god is the God of Gods, be it the god of creations, the god of fate, or even the King of Gods... My god is supreme, but the other gods are jealous of his power, suppressed him, and now not even his name is known to the world. So it's my job to spread his name, bring smiles to those in need" Sora said seriously,
"the other gods are greedy, and allow hatred, wars, death, and so many others to spread all over this world. it was not always like this you know, but once my god was suppressed, chaos spread. wars spread, so many suffering all for the enjoyment of those other gods..." Sora said with a sad look, making Naruto grow slightly angry.
by now, he already believed in some of Sora's words, after all, Sora told him what would happen, and look at it now. who could have guessed that he could become chunin in such a way?
"w-whats this god name?" Naruto asked softly, Sora smiled slightly before speaking the name he thought long and hard about it.
"my god has many names, Zenno, Saiko, Yuiitsu, Yhwach, and so on. but names mean nothing to someone like him. Just have faith, what you ask for shall be given if not, it's simply because it wasn't worthy of you." Sora said with a smile, Naruto nodded slightly before entering class.

{This is the Godly System, a System with the simple goal to turn the host from a mortal to a god. By collecting followers who pray to you, the host can gain faith power. with enough faith power, the host can spin a slot which shall give the host a random reward, or use the faith power to upgrade something the host already has if the host has enough faith power.
Faith power can also be used to increase to upgrade the system and its functions. currently, the system has 5 functions. the first function is a status window that shows the host stats. note that to be considered a believer, one faith needs to be over 65%
the second is the faith-gathering function, which allows the host to gather faith from within 10 meters. note that you would need to upgrade this if the host wishes to increase the range
the third is the slot functions. upgrading this function would increase the chances of the host getting better rewards by a lot, at the cost of more faith power. but for the first draw, the chances of getting something good are high.
the 4th is the upgrade function. this allows the host to upgrade almost anything so long as the host has the amount of faith power needed for the upgrade.} the system said leaving Sora stunned for a moment,
