CHAPTER 29: SADNESS NEWS

Zane came home exhausted. I was going down the stairs when I saw him in the living room. I walked towards him.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked as soon as I was in front of him.

He gave me a weak smile as we sat on the couch. "My father died today." He whispered.

"Oh my gosh! I am sorry." I hugged him tight and he hugged me back. This is the sadness news I ever heard today. Losing someone who dearly most in your life is something I cannot imagine. I may hate my parents but I still love them most in my entire life.

We were stayed a little moment. I know he needs time to process everything what happen. I, myself have to be patient towards his feeling right now. It was not really simple because I know how much he loves and idolize his father.

"Did you eat anything today?" I asked after letting go of my hugs.

"I got no time to eat when I was in the hospital." He replies.

"Okay, come on. Maria cooked something delicious for us." I said as I grabbed his hand. "You need to have something inside your stomach or else you will collapse anytime." I saw him nodded.

We were quiet while we were in the table. I put some dishes to his plates and I was delightful that he ate everything. I keep on secretly glancing at him. I know his problem is not that easy right now. But I will make sure he will eat and rest. I do not want him to be down with the things surrounding him.

We finished our dinner and he went to his room. He said he will take a shower and will be waiting for me in his room. I left in the dining table to help Maria.

"Did he tell you about his father?" Maria asked. I nodded.

"Yeah! But not the details because I do not remember that his father has a disease or something. It was so sudden." I replied.

"Well, his father was health-conscious person and it was really sudden to us." She said and walked closer to me. "I know you are like family to him and to us but I will share a little to you." She whispered.

"What?" I asked with curiosity. I know I am not a gossip person but I was just being curious. Zane is a very special person to me now and always be.

"That he was poison. That's the reason he died, poisoned slowly." Maria told me that made my mouth opened wide.

"What!" She nodded. "What kind of human being did that to him?" I asked.

"We do not know yet and he is investigating the situation in the mansion." She said as she patted my shoulder. "Just be there for him all the time, okay? He needs you now more than ever."

Maria left me to do the dishes. I left her to go up for Zane. I will act as if I did not know. I will wait for him to tell me all about the situation in his father's death.

I went inside his room and he is now laying in his bed. The lights were in a dim and I walked towards him, to join him in bed. He glanced at me and signaling to come closer. I smiled at him and hopped in.

We were cuddling each other with words. As usual I did not talk, we just listening to each other's hearts and breathes.

"Dad was poisoned as he was diagnosed today. I am not sad because I already knew it will happen soon but I was not expected it will be this soon." He said as he strolled my hair. "But I want you to know everything so that you will not be misguided with the rumors to come, okay." I nodded.

He paused and continued, "I may not be able to stay more often in my mansion but there is one thing that I will assure you." I looked at him in the eyes. I do not know what that means. "You are the second woman I am comfortable with and this situation with had is important to me. You are that important and special to me. We keep on looking each other's eyes. "The more we spend time together the more I know what you really are to me." He smiled and peeked a kiss on my lips.

"Falling in love with is the best thing happen in my life after I neglected love for a long time. Until I found the woman, I want to share the love in this world." He declared and my tears were started to flow down. "I love you, Tayla." He then whispered something into my ears.

My tears were now falling. "Yes! And I love you too. I am always here for you no matter what." I declared my love for him too. "I will always trust and believe in you."

He kissed me passionately with full of love as I did the same to him. I know I am in love with him too. Regardless, we just met not too long ago. We have this spark going on with each other that we cannot deny it. We have a lot common and understanding that only us could feel that. He treated me like a fragile one.

I never feel that to someone who treated me like precious and delicate, only Zane does. I am always thankful every day that I run away from home because it not I would not meet Zane. We crossed our paths because it was written in the stars. That was it!

We ended the night with full of lust, love and desire. We make each other's love full of passions too because for the coming days it will going to change everything. I already agreed to him no matter what happen. I will trust and believe him with his plan.
