Life is difficult enough for a Lirian soldier. It doesn't become any easier if you have to deal with a dark past that looms at every corner. The End of The Eclipse
15 YEARS AGO, YEAR 5 OF THE MARELIRIAN ECLIPSE
"No, it can't be…." Aedea mentions under her breath as the sight before her is burned into her very eyes. Her breathing becomes even heavier, constricted, as if a weight has fallen upon her chest. This sight before her….it's impossible.
It can't be….it can't be true…this can't be real.
Before her is a woman in black robes, crouched over, holding a young girl in her lap. The girl is all covered in blood, and by the looks of it, is no longer breathing. The young girl's eyes are still open, but with no life in them, empty as they stare into the void.
The older woman is howling in grief as she clutches the girl, tears flowing down her cheek like a river.
