3] Uh... Whoops?

(Shin POV, Shin's house)

It's been a few days since my first encounter with a villain and a hero. I have been working diligently to perfect my suit design as well as my power. It's no shadow armor but it should work for a while.

It's basically a black long-sleeved shirt with white stripes coming from the chest, kind of like the way Vasto Lorde Ichigo's markings looked.

I'm also wearing black tights basically, they're stretchy... And I couldn't get any other pants in this design, so it's fine.

Got some black combat boots to match the color scheme, and fitted them with white laces... What, I like the way it looks.

For the final portion of my costume? A cloak with a hood that has a black mesh over it's face part so I can see out, but they can't see in.

Oh, my telekinesis ranked up. I'll just show you.

So, with that, I can finally hover for a few seconds before I slowly start to fall. I'm sure that if I get my mastery up, I can hover for however long I have the stamina to.

Now, I decided that it's time to make a vigilante appearance. There's only one issue, I need to come up with a name.

After contemplating for a couple hours, I finally came up with something that I enjoy. Waiting until it gets dark is boring, so I'll just train until it's time to go.

When it turns night time, I jump from rooftop to rooftop. The police scanner app that I'm listening to also comes with a handy little map that points out dangerous areas where crimes are currently happening.

I make my way over to a store robbery, and observe the situation from the outside. One guy has a gun, the other has a bag and is shoveling jewels inside of it.

Assuming that the bag guy also has a gun, this can be a little dangerous. Wait. I have telekinesis, I'll just use that to steal their guns. I swear, I'm an idiot sometimes.

I yank the gun away from the person waving it around without much care, and I point it at the other guy.

Shin- "Wow, look at what we have here. It's pretty rare to get idiots like you in B5, I guess today is my lucky day." The two flinch as I open the door while saying that. I float the gun over to me while it's still pointing at the guy.

Thug 1- "Who are you? The heroes shouldn't be able to react this quickly, and the ones who can are out of town." I shrug.

Shin- "Me? A hero? No way, not even close." I can see the anger rising on their faces.

Thug 2- "You're just a kid, why should we be scared of-" I interrupt him by shooting him in the shoulder, causing him to drop his jewels. He howls in pain, rolling on the floor

Thug 1 rushes toward me, and I just hold him in place with my telekinesis. He looks kind of goofy running in place.

Thug 1- "What did you do to me!?" I snort.

Shin- "My Flair can manipulate the inertia of an object, and I've chosen you to be my object." He looks at me confused, and I laugh.

"Did you think I would actually tell you? It's obviously Gravity Manipulation." I keep playing with this guys emotions as I secretly steal his and his friend's wallet.

I slowly and with much effort lift thug 1 up, and start spinning him.

"Have you ever wandered what it felt like to fly? Me too! Tell me what it feels like, and please, rate 5 stars." I continually spin him at a faster and faster pace, causing all the blood to rush to his head and feet.

As I spin thug 1, I start dragging thug 2 closer to him. I float thug 2 in front of me like a shield.

Thug 2- "What are you doing with me?" He seems to be panicking, cute.

Shin- "Well, I don't want to get dirty if he pukes so..." Thug 1 starts spinning faster, and what do you know. I abruptly stop him, and he just falls to the ground.

"Did I just freaking kill him?" I stifle in a laugh while thug 2 looks in horror. "Uh... Whoops? Hey, look at the good side. At least he didn't make a mess." Thug 2 looks increasingly disturbed. He turns to me with hatred in his eyes, and fire in his hand.

Thug 2- "You killed him! And you're making jokes?" He launches a fire blast at me which I block with my arms, burning the long sleeved shirt. Feeling the pain, I immediately loose focus on thug 2 and drop him accidentally. Luckily doing this throws him off, so his attack stops as well.

I instantly throw wave after wave of broken glass at thug 2, effectively killing him too.

Shin- "Oops, killed another one too... I'm going to have some trouble sleeping tonight, too bad I am currently too shocked to feel any repercussions." Thug 2 falls to his face with hundred of glass shards in his body.

Thug 2- "I'm... not dead... Yet..." He charges up another fire ball and throws it at me weakly. I pull the glass shards out of his body and effectively use them as a shield against his fire.

Shin- "Oof, you will be now that I yanked all of the things stopping your bleeding out." He spits out unrecognizable curses, and I chuckle a little bit.

Rubbing my singed arms, I start putting all the jewels into the bag and fling them behind the counter... But not before emptying the registers and taking the crooks' facial distortion tech.

I have to pay for my exploits somehow, and $500 a month isn't going to do that. After getting a couple thousand dollars, I head out. Using the cover of night to escape to safety. 

I'm so glad that I destroyed any cameras that could have saw me, and I was pretty lucky that the jeweler left the moment I arrived.

Checking the money under a light source to see if it's being tracked or something, I see police lights off in the distance.

"Freaking took long enough, I wonder how they'll word this on the news." After checking the money's safety, I go back home taking a long winding path.

There is a reason why I'm doing this, because if these guys have this tech... It means that someone was working with them, because only heroes are "supposed" to have this.

Bigger villains, scientists, the black market. All of them have this, it's not too expensive. The only issue is that getting one requires buying them from shady people, because I'm not revealing my identity to any hero association for any reason.

As I make my way home, I am thinking about all the things I can do now. Playing with thug 1 & 2 really increased my mastery.

I bet I could even hover now, and if I push off of something... I can maintain my momentum in the air, essentially allowing me to fly.

Once I discover this, I pseudo-fly to my house.

Sneaking into my house from a dark place, it's almost like I'm breaking into my own house. Once my clothes are changed, I put all my new money into my desk.

"Gosh, today was tiring. It's only 10:00PM... Ugh." I jump into my bed and pass out. Flying around for almost an hour after doing all that crap... I am exhausted.

When I wake up, stretching is a must. While I'm doing that, my mind wonders to what happened yesterday.

"It's weird that I don't feel anything, it's like my guilt was thrown into... the..." I was about to make fun of my powers, but I realize something. What if they actually were?

I contemplate the meaning and reason for my power, before I'm brought out of my thoughts by my alarm.

"Oh, I better get ready for school."

So school happens like usual, although today for Gym we have to do a Flair assessment test.

The start of it consists like this: We touch a rock that glows if we have a Flair, then we touch another rock that forcefully activates the Flair that you're most attuned with.

If nothing happens, then you move onto the physical assessment test to see if anything changed physically.

Then you do some other things, and by the end of it, you have to name the Flairs that you have shown. These names are integrated into your identity, and while you can change them... Most people are too stupid unless they are heroes or villains.

When it's my turn, I reluctantly grab the rock. When I look to it, I notice that the color had changed from a dark blue to that of a dark purple. What? Why did it do that? It's not even glowing, it just looks like a normal rock.

Not knowing what to do, I pocket the rock. Moving on to the forceful activation of my ability, I'm actually hesitant to touch it this time.

When my hand touches the rock, it turns to dust.

"What the heck?" I ask for another rock, and they accept with confusion. The same thing happens to this rock as well, but I notice a small flicker of black lightning this time.

Seeing this makes me ask for another few rocks, and they give me five.

I touch them all, and I only notice the black lightning one more time. Wait, do I have the ability to cancel things? No, that wouldn't explain their dustification.
