The royal vampire concentrated his senses on the region around him and stared at the spectacle with a look of surprise. If one domain was a nightmare filled with withered plants and despicable groans, then the other would be a paradise rife with glowing fauna and lovely singers.

As he slowly approached the inner court of Atlantis, he nodded appreciatively at the stone-made buildings, submerged water lily gardens, and massive auditoriums with seats in the form of pink shells. He had never seen something so pure and stunning before in his life, and he marveled in awe at the underwater construction.
