Jason woke to the gentle sound of buzzing in his ear. Slowly pushing himself to a sitting position, he blinked rapidly, fluttering his eyelids, and yawned as he stretched his arms.

A crowd of expectant farmers awaited him happily, and the group slowly supported their Messiah to his feet. Noticing the various farm creatures clean-shaven and moving unburdened, a small smile formed across the hate reader's face as the notification rang a second time.

Ding! Ding!

The black-haired teenager looked in the corner of his eye and swallowed heavily, his face turning pale.

"Two days remain before Death God Ability #272 is permitted for use," the notification read.

"Remaining time before use: 1 Day, 23 Hours, 58 Minutes, 59 seconds"

He clenched his fist tight and dug his nails deep into his palm as trickles of blood fell to the ground.
