1 Gellert and Albus.

Nurmengard Castle. 8th of June 1985.

A fairly old man is sitting at a table eating a steak dinner. The old man has short grey hair brushed to the side. He also has two mismatched eyes, a distinct icy pale blue in his right eye and a less distinct light blue in his left. Even though his face is whithered and his body frail, there's still this unique charismatic charm to him that makes people want to follow him. His name is Gellert Grindelwald, a man that once sought to rule the whole world.

Grindewald was not alone however, standing opposite him is another old man. The other old man is tall and thin, with long white/silvery hair and an impressive long white/silvery beard. The old man's wearing long white robes with a long blue cloak that fell to the floor, and high-heeled brown boots. His blue eyes were a light baby blue that seemed to sparkle behind his half-moon spectacles and his nose was long and crooked, as if it had been broken before. Like Gridewald the man has a unique charming aura to him that inspires loyalty in his friends and hatred in his enemies. His name is Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, the most powerful wizard alive.

The two stare at each other with various emotions in their eyes. It's been 35 years since they last seen each other. After Dumbledore defeated Grindewald, he was locked up in Nuremberg Castle, a place he used as a base of operations, aswell as a place he used to imprison those who opposed him, the irony is quite hilarious.

"Albus." Gellert greets with a charming smile.

Albus smiles fondly at his old friend and lover. "Gellert." Albus greets.

"It's been too long Albus."

"I suppose." Albus smiles but his eyes betray his true emotions, that of sadness and guilt for the condition of his old friend and for not visiting him for 35 years.

"Thank you for coming old friend." Gellerts voice is filled with sincerity.

"I was surprised by your summons Gellert... and I must say I could not figure out why you would summon me." Dumbledore asks with interest in his voice. Dumbledore couldn't understand why Gellert had contacted him after so many years of silence.

Gellert ponders his answer for a few seconds. "I needed your help with a task that I felt only you could do for me." He answers.

Dumbledore raises his eyebrow at Gellert, his expression curious. "Pray tell... what is this task Gellert?" Dumbledore asks with a small smile on his face.

Gellert smiles knowing that his old friend won't refuse him. "Hmmm... where to begin?" Gellert rests his chin on his hand as he contemplates what to say. "Well I'm sure you didn't know this... but Vinda and I had a child."

Dumbledore's eyes widen in shock but shocks not the only emotion within his eyes, there's also a hint of betrayal and hurt. While Dumbledore understands that their relationship was over a long, long time ago, there was a part of Dumbledore that never stopped loving Gellert. So hearing he had a child with someone else cut him deep. Only for a few seconds however, as his mastery over Occulumency helped him regain his composure.

"Is the child in trouble?" Dumbledore asks casually, managing to hide his true feelings behind his occulumency.

"No, not the child, it's already too late for her. No, I just found out that my great grandson is living in a muggle orphanage." Gellert says with clear disgust in his tone.

While he was remorseful about his actions, the thought of his blood living with muggles made him ill.

Dumbledore shakes his head at his old friends harsh prejudice. After all these years he still hasn't changed. Dumbledore thinks to himself.

"Which Orphanage does he reside in Gellert?" Dumbledore asks with a tired sigh because he decides to indulge his old friend. He also wants to make sure the child does not follow in his grandfather's footsteps.

A gleeful smile spreads across Gellerts lips, pleased with his friends acceptance.

"An orphanage called Prévost in France." Gellert answers.

"Very well Gellert, I'll make sure the boy's well looked after." Dumbledore promises.

"That's all I ask Dumbledore." Gellert smiles. "Make sure to claim the boys vaults now that your his legal guardian. The Rosier Vaults in England and France, and both of mine in Germany and England." Gellert demands.

"Very well Gellert, is that all?" Dumbledore asks.

"Yes, yes Dumbledore please look after him." Gellert asks with a downcast smile. "I won't let what happened to my daughter happen to him." Gellert's voice is full of regret and pain. He blames himself for his daughters death, he never sent anyone to look after her and she died all because of his past actions. Someone found out that she was his daughter and killed her for it. He wants to make sure that the same thing doesn't happen to his grandson. If only he knew about his grandson earlier, he would've sent for Dumbledore earlier.

Dumbledore hearing the pain in his friends voice, smiles pitifully at him.

"I'll be off now Gellert, take care of yourself." Dumbledore greets him. Dumbledore turns around and starts walking towards the door of the dining room.

"Good bye old friend." Gellert greets his departing friend. "His name is Mael Albus Grindewald." Gellert whispers just loud enough for Dumbledore to hear.

Dumbledore stops for a few seconds, a small smile on his face before he continues walking.
