1 Chapter 1:

   All around the world, girls are taken for gold diggers; a gold digger is a person who loves to have money or anything that is expensive like cars or big houses, with the easy way. If we look at it from this side, everybody is a gold digger since everyone is after money to live, everyone dreams to have a big house and his own expensive car and maybe very expensive, everyone wants the easy life that money makes but then, why are girls only taken for gold diggers most of the time? Well maybe it's because since the life started, men are the hard workers, they have the responsibility of taking care of the house and if there is a wife and children it's another level of responsibility; as for women, they had the choice either to work or not since their parents or husband take care of them, they just take care of the house and the children but if they get a rich man, they won't even need to do that anymore, they'll live like queens. Nowadays, it's not the case anymore, both men and women are working, there are even women that are hard workers and hate to depend on anyone but there are still people who think that women still want that easy life without work, they just have to hunt the right rich guy, this way they'll have the easy life; there's no way to deny the presence of these persons but making all women the same, this is a mistake that many people does and so did Gerard DIAS.

   Gerard is from a rich family, he grew up with his two friends from the same class, Gwen and Andrew; once he became a man, he started playing on girls, he gave himself this right to teach them a lesson because he thinks that all of them are gold diggers and are after his money, since he is a tall muscular charming man with brown eyes and a charming smile not forgetting his great and elegant look, he gets any girl he wants easily, at least that's what he thought so he asks a woman to go have dinner with him in a very expensive restaurant, they eat and talk and when it's almost time to leave, he apologises from the woman to go use the bathroom but Gerard disappears, that way the woman has to pay the bill either she can or not; Gerard was always getting annoyed by the women's discussions but he didn't stop what he's doing at all. Gerard is 32, he runs his father's company when he's not around and when his father is around he just take care of the architectural part. Andrew is 32 too, he is Gerard's partner, he became so after his father had an accident and became unable to get out of bed; as for Gwen, she is just 2years younger, she works as a model, she shows in magazines, fashion shows, products advertising and all those stuff; Gwen had a crush on Gerard since they were kids but Gerard had no idea about it. When Gerard takes all these women out, Gwen was getting kind of annoyed but not jealous, she knows it's a matter of just few hours and Gerard will get rid of that woman, as for Andrew, he tried making Gerard leave this way but he never convinced him so he quit trying.

   14th April is Gerard's birthday, inthe morning his mother woke him so he takes her out, have a day together and buythings to celebrate her unique son's birthday, Margret loves to take care ofeverything when it's Gerard's birthday despise all the worker at home. Gerardrefused any celebration: "Mom! For god's sake, I'm telling you for the 50thtime I am not celebrating my birthday this year, I have everything anyone coulddesire so I need neither gifts nor a party, just leave me sleep or I promise todisappear every year in my birthday day" he complained to his mother so as ananswer, Margret said: "I definitely can't not celebrate you turning 33, it'snot every day that you turn 33, unless..." and his mother turned silent so Gerard raised his head curious to know the next sentences: "

× Unless what mom?

× Unless you decide to get married, I actually have one woman in mind but every time I bring her up you get angry.

× (Very annoyed) Mom! I am telling you for the 50th time that I don't want to get married and Gwen is just my childhood friend, would you put that in your beautiful mind please?

× This is my condition, if you don't want me to celebrate your birthday, you have to promise me to look for a wife, starting from today.

× Okay! Fine!

× No, no, no, you can't play smart with me, I'll put in charge Andrew and Gwen to make sure you get a girlfriend in 2days, I need to see proofs otherwise I'll make you a big party next week after your father comes home, it's never late for a birthday party, so do you promise or we just have to celebrate?

× (Irritated) Fine mom! You win, I promise."

Margret got out so satisfied and called Andrew and Gwen to come over, as for Gerard, he put his pillow on his face regretting the promise, after that his phone rang: "

× Birthday boy! Still in bed?

× Good morning dad.

× Good morning son, guess what I bought you for your birthday?

× What?

× A private air plan, it's all yours.

× (Not excited) A private air plan? Awesome, thanks.

× (Worried) Are you okay son? Are you sick?

× No not at all, I just have to leave dad, take care."

Gerard got more annoyed, he came down stairs for breakfast and his 2 childhood friends arrived saluting Gerard and his mother, "I can't believe you're already here" commented Gerard, "Well! That's what happens when you refuse a birthday party man" teased Andrew, Gerard kept it inside and murmured to himself: "It's going to be a looooong boring day for sure" so Margret explained the girlfriend stuff to her son's friends and told them she wants pictures as a proof.

   That night, Gerard, Andrew and Gwen went to a bar not exactly to celebrate Gerard's birthday but it's the reason they got a chance to be together that night The 3 were having drinks, talking, remembering the old days and all the things they used to do then Gwen reclaimed with a sad voice: "

× It's been a while now since the last time we met and talked this way Gerard, you're being very busy teaching gold diggers a lesson.

× Who's the next victim bro?" wondered Andrew

× "First of all, they are not victims, they deserve this; second of all, there are a lot of women, look around you, all these are gold diggers, it could be any of them but not for today.

× If I wasn't your best friend, will you think the same thing about me Gerard?" questioned Gwen.

× "Of course, you are a woman after all, aren't you?"

Answered Gerard without thinking, Gwen felt hurt from this answer, she was expecting him to say no and try to convince her the opposite even if it was a lie but at least he'll try to make it up caring about her feelings but that wasn't the case at all; Andrew noticed Gwen feeling hurt so he tried to do something to change the atmosphere: "

× Let's do something, I have an idea.

× Will you honour us with this idea?" Asked Gerard.

× "Since you are saying that all girls are gold diggers and since me and Gwen don't agree with you we are going to pick a woman from here and you will show us if your charm will work on her, if she agrees to go have dinner with you, you win and you ask what you want but if she refuses we win and we ask what we want.

× Do you really think that a woman will refuse me? Seriously?

× What's wrong Gerard? Are you scared to be refused?" Irritated Gwen.

× "Okay fine! Here is a deal, you pick any woman you want, if you are right I will apologies from every woman I played on and left her paying the restaurant bill but if I am right, you will take pictures to me and her having the dinner, show them to my mom and tell her I started seeing someone and you'll keep telling her that I'm in a relationship every time she asks about it. Deal?

× Will you really be in a relationship?" Worried Gwen.

× "Obviously not, you'll just lie about it.

× Will you really apologies to all the women you left on a restaurant table?" Asked Andrew in shock.

× "Yup! The max I can find.

× That sounds amazing, I'm really enjoying this." Said Andrew.

× "Okay then, I'm the one who's going to pick a woman" Interrupted Gwen, she wanted to choose a woman because earlier she saw a wasted man trying to impose his strength on a woman working in that bar and obliging her to leave with him but the woman defended herself and slapped the man before the body guards come to take him out what made her think that she's the best one for this game so she resumed: "You see that woman in red there in that table with that rich fat man? That's not her but it's the one serving her right now, the one with the short hair.

× Are you sure? I mean she is a servant she'll definitely have no problem with that, I give you a chance to change your mind before I start action.

× I'm pretty sure, just go ahead please.

× I'm not doing it tonight, it's already late, I don't want to end up with anyone in bed so I'll start tomorrow.

× But, you have only one day which means you don't get her tomorrow, you lose." Imposed Andrew.
