30 Testing and Goddess Reappearance

Yukino looked forward as she saw the river flow into the ocean. She was almost at the northeast point of Australia, the temperature should be pretty hot. But because of the small amount of Apollo Authority flowing through her, she doesn't feel a thing.

The point was that she was enjoying this a lot but there is still that gnashing part in her which is telling her that she should be in Japan catching up with all the stuff she missed!

It was not time for the holidays!

Apart from that… She found out that she had no fear of crocodiles at all! It was mind-boggling to learn that!

Her gaze went to the side as she saw Raynor swimming with saltwater crocodiles… Hell, he is using one as a mattress…

"So it appears reptiles in general fall into that category," Liliana said as she was holding a notebook and taking notes. 

While Erica was walking around the forest area to find some venomous snakes. Apparently, with regular search magic, they can find snakes now…easily.

"Yes. We can assume other lizard kinds are the same… Komodo Dragons should be possible as well." Yukino said that with a not-caring shrug.

"...Yes, it should work too. I am slightly shocked that you proposed the most lethal lizard known to Earth." Liliana said with a slightly impressed tone. She wasn't expecting this from her!

From her understanding, Yukino was introduced to the supernatural recently, and all these Godslayer actions are new to her. However, the looks of the girl are getting better. 

"Why not? As you can see Raynor over there is almost cuddling with saltwater crocodiles." Yukino said with a shrug. One could say she continues to adapt to the circumstances.

It helps that she does not feel fear towards wild animals like this. 

'Though one thing I noticed so far is that Raynor is much more interactive with Erica. If something comes up, he goes to her.'

However, the blonde doesn't try to establish any sort of control, this way he is doing whatever he wants to do.

For her plan to work, she needs to be at that kind of level, and only then she might be successful. She noticed that the other two girls were just happy the way they were. 

Though the silver-haired one is still new, they will see how that witch will develop.

After a few more minutes the girl herself decided to take some pictures because the place was picturesque. 

It didn't take long for Raynor to see her doing that so he asked her to take some pictures of him with his crocodile. Since he won't be coming back here anytime soon.

As the sun was setting down Raynor was finally out of the water as he was walking towards the shore he noticed something lying on the sand.

Curiously, he crouched down and picked it up.

"This looks like crocodile teeth." As he picked it up it was as big as his index finger!

"Cool…it looks quite fresh as well." He said that as he inspected it up close.

Seeing that it was looking in quite good shape, the Storm King decided to keep it. This would make an awesome pendant!

After taking it he continued to walk towards the camp. 

Once there he saw Erica with one of the snakes.

"You know, Australian snakes are as dangerous as Indian ones. You could just take this one for yourself." The blonde knight of his showed a very obedient snake.

It was a brown snake, 

'Is this the infamous King Brown snake? a.k.a the mulga snake?:

Raynor thought to himself as he noticed how the snake was looking at him, it was almost like the animal was borderline worshipping him. He just had that feeling.

"Yes well, I want King Cobra because of the fan-like head they have, it just looks so regal in a dangerous kind of way." 

"...I see…well, it was worth trying." The blonde just shrugged and decided to play with the snake for a bit before she released it back into the wild. She doesn't have anything against it but she has no time to keep such a pet.

Her full attention is becoming the best girl possible for her Godslayer.

"Yes, well I got something else. Check this out! A solid-looking crocodile tooth! It would look nice as an ornament." As he said that he showed her what he found.

"Oh… It looks quite fresh. You do know as a Godslayer you need your things to be as solid as possible. You should put some enchantments on it if you want to wear it as a pendant." 

Hearing that he seriously nodded.

'However, learning simple magic is not useful at all, I would need to study that thing for centuries just to make it durable enough. That's according to what I know about the magic system. Gaining authority is another thing. I am not the one who decides what kind of God descends.' 

Thinking about this more he then sighed in resignation.

'If only I had the means to travel to other realities, I could pick up different kinds of art in those places.' He randomly thought about this. He does know that those things should exist. If Heretic Gods are real then their 'God Domains' should be a thing.

If those are a thing then other Earths or realities should be a thing as well.

As Raynor was sleeping he felt that someone had sat down on him. 

Last time he remembered that his girls were not bold enough to do such a thing. After all, because all the time it gets out of hand. This is why they are not that naughty anymore.

This means…who is this naughty one?

As he slowly opened his eyes he saw dark purple eyes looking at him. He could see snake-like pupils gazing at him. 

It was a beauty with silver hair dressed in a white toga. There was a certain superior aura around her. It was different from the one emitted by a Heretic God.

Those have that unhinged feel to them. Like they are ready to unleash chaos. This one was different though. 

"You are awake."

"No."

As he said that he wrapped his hands around her and then pushed her to the side. He ended up wrapping his arms around her. This was just perfect.

"...You are quite bold, No wonder you usurped that specific authority." The Goddess said in a plain voice, though she was surprised at how he reacted. At that moment she thought that she could have the upper hand against him, but she was wrong.

"Say the Goddess who ended up sitting on top of me when I was sleeping." 

"... maybe. So what will the great conqueror do to me? You have me in such a vulnerable position." She asked him with quite a suggestive tone.

Feeling that she is challenging him to do certain things he decided to do some things but not what she had expected.

Instead, Raynor simply started to cuddle with her. Making her confused by his gentle actions.

"Hmm, so nice. You are quite comfortable being hugged. Perhaps you have some sort of hidden authority related to hugs?"

Athena snorted at him before getting comfortable in his hands. 

"You would have known if you had such a thing. Since you did this, I expected to be hugged properly." The beautiful Goddess practically demanded to hug her properly so he did just that it was far too nice not to do it.

"As my beautiful Goddesses wishes, so it shall be." He said that with an amused tone. The Goddess of Wisdom adjusted to her new position. Making her slender legs coil with his. She then proceeds to use his chest as a pillow.

"Good to hear that you appreciate having a Goddess next to you." 

Instead of saying anything he just stroked her naked back. The beauty was still dressed in a Greek toga. Which allowed him to easily feel her up. 

"Yes, very, now let's take another nap." 

Athena simply closed her eyes, there was an amused smile on her lips. She got a general idea of who is her new 'Master' or 'Chief God'.

She has concluded that she can live with this situation. It might be amusing, time will tell.

Around 40 minutes later Erica walked over to wake up Raynor. As they will be landing in India soon.

The Tiger Reserve, the one which was picked with Yukino's help, is quite close to the Himalayas. Only sometime later did realise that she might have made a mistake. 

They are going to land quite close to a mountain sacred to Hinduism. 

She does hope none of the Hindu gods will descend.

'At least Athena still has not materialised this should help us.'

The blonde thought to herself as she opened the doors and stopped in her tracks.

Her eyes bulged out for a bit as she saw Athena snuggling into Raynor, her legs intertwined, looking like lovers…

With how her clothes are, the Godslayer's hand is touching her bum directly. It was quite intimate.

'Oh, crap…'

The blonde is slightly panicked now this is going to be serious. If they have a Goddess and Godslayer around, this could make the even higher chance of a God rebelling from his myth!

"Ray! Wake up! We are going to start to land soon!" 

Erica tried to wake him up as she quickly composed.

First, one to react to her was Goddess Athena who opened her eyes and looked at the blonde.

The blonde had a strong front, but internally she was quite uneasy, Is the Goddess still mad? Only that at this point she is not hostile against them.

"You are part of his court… Hmm…so he is collecting upstart humans as well." 

As Athena started to speak Raynor slowly opened his eyes as well.

"Morning~" He used his free hand to rub his eyes. His other hand was still hugging 

"Yes, I am his knight, we have members for each purpose to help our Lord not be bothered with lesser tasks." The blonde knight explained respectfully to the Goddess who hummed at her.

"I see. It appears you already have everything set up for yourself." The Goddess then moved for a bit. Changing into a sitting position she then had a smile on her lips. Moved in to kiss her Lord on the lips.

She was testing her grounds, wanting to understand how the court operates now.

Unlike what she remembers from the distant past her role is not set in this court. This means she can aim for the top and be the Queen.

Her actions have caught Raynor off-guard. He got used to cuddling but he didn't expect Athena just to kiss him like this.

The kiss was quite intense as the moment she pulled back she licked her lips 

"Hmm… not bad, we can practise this later if this is what you want~" After saying that she turned into blue particles and disappeared.

Raynor understood at that moment that the Goddess doesn't see a reason to stick around 'regular people'. Though he can summon her whatever he wants. 

'Interesting ability…'  The Godslayer thought to himself as he touched his lips. It appears Goddesses are the opposite of regular girls…they are not shy at all.

"Where… did she disappear too?" Erica asked him, She was fighting back her jealousy, unlike the other three girls, she was feeling… Threatened by her.

"Returned to my King's Authority… You can call it Olympus."

At that moment the blonde recalled the existence of the mountain she dreamed of when she first joined the Court.

"It's an actual place?" His knight was quite shocked to hear that! At first, she thought it was something related to power but it was an actual place!?

It appears so. I can say for sure, but I am leaning towards it." As he said that he got up from the bed and started to dress up.

Soon he will see some tigers!
