19 Rom-com Life

And so… new sort of life settled in. Sobu High slowly is returning to normal.

As much as it could with several unique students attending the school.

Many stayed away from him, simply from fear and their natural shyness.

However, others… their natural curiosity won over and they tried to talk.

They wanted to know why his girls call him Lord! Why does he have two girls? Why do they accept to share him!?

All those questions… none of them got answered! 

However… the one who got the most exposure was no other but Yukino Yukinoshita. 

One could say Raynor had that special interest in her.

The girl in question was quite a bit unnerved that the Lord of Sobu as they call him now is interested in her this much.

There is no way in hell she will accept to be part of his Harem! If this is what he is planning!

But, that's on the side for now. As she finally started showing her tsundere tendencies!

It has grated Yukino's nerves how… her Volunteer club has changed!

The day after HE joined her club the whole place got renovated in a single night! The stored tables and chairs disappeared somewhere.

Instead, there is a couch, a drinks fridge, and several cushioned chairs. A large TV and multiple consoles with a shelf full of games…

This was no longer a club but an entertainment room! 

And most importantly she saw him laze around…a lot…

'How can he be this fit when the only thing he does is uses his knight's lap like some sort of pillow!' 

Yukino frowned as she looked at the guy lazing on the couch. She saw him doing this or playing games throughout the whole time he is here in the volunteers club!

While another thing which has the black-haired girl somewhat freaked out is how the other girl was cleaning a sharp-looking incredibly beautiful sword.

This reminded the girl that these people don't truly need to follow any sort of rules or regulations of the government!

However, it's grating her nerves how casual they are!

"Valeron-san! At least finish that essay for Hiratsuka-sensei!" The girl could not hold it anymore as she snapped at the lazing teen.

"I didn't know you care so much about me Yukino-chan!" 

And here it is! Whatever heat she had, it evaporated the moment he said that. Pulling excuses about her caring about him and calling her cutely like this made her blush quite hard.

"N-No! I don't wish members of my Volunteer club to get bad grades!"

Completely forgetting the fact that everything for him is quite optional…  she pushed on the Volunteer Club's reputation suffering if he fails…

"Then it's alright since I already finished it."

Now her eyes widened for a bit.

"You did?"

"Yep." As he said that he got back on his feet. That moment Yukino's weirded out for a second… how he just flipped from lazy to moving athletically… as if he was not lazing around and his body was in a sugar rush…

This was so utterly weird for her… 

'Does his body has a switch of some sort?' 

Honestly… for some time now Yukino started to think a bunch of conspiracy theories about this guy.

From wild ideas that he has superpowers because of how weird he is and how utterly dominant Valeron is in P.E… 

To another more absurd one that he can control weather…this one was quite a wild goose chase but…

This one came to her because of how close his arrival is to the time when the weather became much more… erratic…

To top it all the government doesn't say…anything about the weirdness of the weather phenomenon. It's as if they are blind.

Not that she doesn't appreciate this new development. Most of the day it's sunny sometimes quite warm around break time and it rains in the evenings and at night times. 

And this has happened since he arrived in Japan…

Or… it's something else entirely… and she is just overthinking…

Sure enough, her thoughts have been interrupted as he pulled out his notebook and showed it to her.

"Here it is. You can have a quick look."

"...No… it's fine." 

"Come now. I wanna see your opinion." 

*Sigh*

Since he is so pushy… Yukino decided to check it out and be done with it.

She quickly read through it… and realised that this was quite good… 

Hard to believe this lazy and flippant guy has such an interest in Japan… 

"Well, you will get a good grade. I still can't believe you are this good in Japanese…" The girl was slightly jealous of how easily this guy speaks her native language and a multitude of others like Italian, English, French…

Oh, she knows it. Yukino several times heard how he speaks in those languages with his two girls. 

And they all sound so fluent. 

This kind of thing is sometimes annoying because they can all do that and be lazy about it…

*Knock, Knock*

"Hmm?"

Everyone looked at the door.

"Do…you think we getting our first job at Volunteers Club?" Raynor asked her with an amused smirk. This made her slightly frown.

The amount of amusement he gets from her trying to help people with this club is a little bit annoying. But she started to get over it.

"I do hope so. I wish to see what kind of request they going to ask." Erica said that with a jovial tone. Joining him in his amusement.

If only Yukino could grasp how amusing it is for them…

The doors opened and everyone saw Hiratsuka-sensei who pulled a teen into the room.

"Hello, Volunteer Club! I got another member for you guys!" 

The first one to react was Raynor who knows this guy was a fellow weeb!

"Hikigaya? I thought he was part of the going home club."

Erica snorted upon hearing that. Yukino on the other hand just rolled her eyes, while Ena for a second had a clueless look before returning to doing her homework.

"I still am! Only Hiratsuka-sensei thinks that I need to join this club!" 

"Because you need to. With the outlook, you have on life! I'm here with a request as well. I want you guys to straighten him out!" As their consultant said that she grabbed Hikigaya on his shoulders and pulled him closer.

"Oh… I can do that right now." Erica said that as she is about to crackle knuckles. This request is quite an easy one!

When they saw what kind of straighten-out method the blonde is about to employ made the lazy weeb pale.

'What's with the blondes and their fiery tempers!'  Hikigaya slowly started to get panicked. He saw a lot of similarities between this Italian girl and Miura! 

"That method won't be necessary. This one requires character straightening out."

Hiratsuka-sensei quickly arrived at the weeb help as she doesn't want one of her students to end up with literal broken bones…

"... I see… I can give him a schedule which he can use to train. The best way to grow confidence is growing muscles and of course, personality, like you just asked."

"...That would help. But I doubt Hikigaya could follow it without slacking off in the middle of it." As she said that her fingers for a second dug into his shoulders. Before she looked at Yukino.

"I want him to get straightened out in the old classic way by getting friends and helping the Volunteer club." 

As she said that for a second Raynor looked at his homeroom teacher. Weeb and friends? A weeb will naturally get friends when one speaks with another weeb…

Species of the same type band together after all…

But asking that Yukino? The girl is the opposite of a weeb. She never played any sort of games, or read light novels. 

'Wait…'

That moment Campione recalled what he knows about her and her hobbies and interests. 

One thing he is good at is observations… while Erica is good at gathering intel, Raynor is quite good at observations and deductions.

'There is a way to get her to play some games but for now, we have this issue.'

"Well, I suppose he can but it's Yukino-chan's decision." 

As the Campione said that the teacher smirked at him and spoke in an amused tone.

"Yukino-chan? That's quite affectionate! Are you guys already this close? It's only been a week!"

"NO! We are not!" Yukino instantly said 'no' but her cheeks were red like a tomato. She was not infatuated with him or anything like that. The reason why she is blushing like that is because of how embarrassing this is…

"But we are. I know quite a bit about you Yukino-chan." 

"...You do? What do you know?" Forgetting about the embarrassment for a second she wants to know what he knows about her!

"Well let's start from basics you like cats but appears you don't have one. The second one is your dedication to studying not just for the sake of learning but because you have a drive which means there is a bigger or a personal goal.

Then your tea. This one is quite something else which I only learned because of Ena. Your family is quite traditional. As traditional do love the old style of making tea and you very good at it."

The more he said the more it affected the girl! Yukino can't believe how accurate he is about her! It's like… he is insanely good at picking up the details… or… it's something else entirely.

"And… I do know that you care quite a bit about others… even if it's usually a verbal assault which is accompanied alongside that care." As he finished telling about the girl. The homeroom teacher looked at Raynor for a bit. There was a certain appraised look before she returned to look at Yukino.

"It appears you do know about Yukinoshita. Just remember she had quite a hard time with school because of her looks and good grades."

"Oh, I gathered that much already." He smiled back at her. This wasn't a simple smile. Since he is interested in her the girl will have his protection. For the past week or so he was 'observing' her and finding out as much as possible. He won't be taking just anyone under his care. 

He knows this girl is the top student in this place before Erica arrived. But Erica is a special case as she studies much faster with magic and all that stuff. This one however is pure talent and hard work.

While the student and the teacher were discussing Yukino. The girl in question had her world standing still!

'...I don't remember telling him anything about my hobbies or family! How does he know I have a sibling!? How does he even know I like cats!'

As she thought about this she tried to recall what she knew about him!!!

All their interactions flashed through her mind…

That moment she paled, the only thing she knows is that he likes his video games and gets touchy with his girls! That's all of her knowledge! About him! She knows more about his girls than him!

Yet… this guy had almost a full profile of her hobbies, character, and family situation!

'Maybe… he used his connections? But… a lot of his words were guesses…correct guesses' Yukino frowned hard for a bit before starting to believe… that.

'He just that good?'

If this is true… then what the hell is he!?

"Anyway! Guys! I am leaving Hikigaya in your care! Try fixing up his rotten character!" 

All Hiratsuka-sensei got from the president of the club was a nod. A simple nod as if the girl was listening.

"Don't worry Sensei. Hikigaya will be taken care of."

Raynor reassured the leaving sensei. The moment she was gone the teen looked at the fellow weeb.

"Why don't we get to 'basics' down and start playing Street Fighter?" 

Only now did the fellow weeb see a quite huge TV with hooked consoles there.

"...what kind of club is this!?"

"We are volunteers who help people," Raynor said in a sagely, borderline salesman-like voice.
