10 Chapter 10: Gretchen Vs Seraphina.

**Knock knock**

Then she stood back in wait for a reply....nothing came. She knocked softly again and waited but still nothing, she turned around to leave but then the door opened and she was now face to face with her new assigned student.

The both of them stood looking at each other, an aloof and indifferent air about them..*//Yup, strong//* Gretchen thought mentally as she could already feel it, for someone as sensitive as her it was extremely easy to do so.

"Are you my assigned trainer" She asked calmly, already expecting this situation for a while now.

"Yes" Gretchen replied in a monotone voice then turned around to leave.."if you still have something to do then have at it, I'll be right outside" she said then left

Sera closed the door and came out a minute later after setting the last bit of the room right, she was aware sometime ago there was a fight and tremors shook the whole place and disturbed her peaceful game time.

She had been too lazy to fix it before but got the strength minutes ago and began setting things right, Sera stood outside the door contemplating what to do about the key to the room. She knew no one to hand it too, nor could she keep it here as she really wasn't in the mood to break someone if something of hers gets touched by people who do not know their boundaries.

She kept the keys in the pockets of her pants and turned around leaving the place, she would have to get her roommate to make a decision on how the keys should be handled when she returns, a spare would be great for this situation.

"Oh that's the new one right" asked a girl walking down the hallway with her friend who nod her head, she shrugged and carried on with her conversation as Sera walked by them.

But it seems the little bitch was a bit mischievous as she set her foot out a bit wanting Sera to either step on it or trip over it, a smirk formed on her lips but then everything in the hallway suddenly froze and Sera walked a little bit to the side and avoided the weak trap, releasing the flow of time after she was a good distance away from them.

The girl and her companion were a bit in shock as stuff someone who was right in front of them was no longer present, they quickly turned their gazes to the back and saw the silhouette of Sera descending down the stairs and out of their sights

"Did..did..when did she.." she sweat dropped nervously, her friend gulped too as it seems the girl wasn't such an easy prey as they had thought even though she looked way younger than they were.

"Let's not try with her again, she's clearly dangerous if even we couldn't see her move" her friend said to her and she agreed, then they both went on their way.

The moment Sera stepped outside she saw Gretchen waiting some distance away so she walked up to her..."come, I've already found a good enough place for us to begin" Gretchen began walking and Sera followed close by.

The two walked in silence until they reached their destination, it was a huge metal cube standing in the center of an empty building for some reason, Gretchen placed her hand on the cube then suddenly a part of the cube began regressing as a portal like entrance was revealed.

Gretchen looked to Sera to follow her and she did, as soon as she stepped into the entrance the whole scenery changed, Sera looked around and then up ahead at the small cabin in the middle of the place.

Although not the same green plains she walked into that day it still beared enough similarities to it, she eyed the comfy couch sitting out here in the open and the table right next to it holding a cold glass of juice.

She looked to the side but Gretchen was already gone from her sight's, it did surprise her a little but she was already expecting someone extraordinary to be her teacher.

Gretchen walked out of the cabin with a tab in her right arm and a black cloth underneath it, then came over to Sera "Firstly let's introduce ourselves, call me Gretchen"

"Seraphina" she too introduced.

Gretchen looked down at her tab and began searching something "can you list everything you're able to do with your time manipulation" she asked while still searching for something.

"I can freeze time in a particular area, it depends on how large the area is I want frozen so there's no true limit to it"

Gretchen nod her head slightly and Sear continued "and I have the ability to reverse time too, but as of now I can only reverse up to five minutes backwards on any physical object I touch".

She raised a brow, that was indeed quite a handicap if she would need physical touch to reverse time on something "have you awakened a passive" she asked, looking up from her tab and down at Sera who shook her head a little.

"....I see" well passives are indeed a rare thing and can't be expected so casually, but for some like her she was already expecting she had it.

Gretchen put her tab to the side and left it but it didn't fall, instead a strange scene occurred in Sera's eyes as the tab was carried by some invisible force over the table and dropping it.

"As time types the greatest path we take is the reactionary and speed path, it's the most important asset to any time type ability user".

"Alright so firstly I'll divide your training into compartments, the first will be the combat and reaction test, then next is the blindfold test. Heightened senses are the true most valuable assets of a time type ability user as is physical speed too, and then others you get to do for yourself as that's easy enough, I'll only help with your senses and combat ability" she said.

Sera nod her head as this was good enough for her, her being helped with everything isn't her style but this one was acceptable enough.

Gretchen took of her wrist watches and hand them over to the invisible force again before packing her hair in a comfortable position so it doesn't disturb her flow "Before we begin know one thing, I'm not going easy on you one bit and you Will break something" her tone went down and Sera could almost feel a shiver go up her spine with the little leak of her aura.

She was definitely strong, definitely may be on the same level as her mother which was truly a terrifying thing indeed, suddenly about 200 meters away from them a huge encirclement of Gatling guns rose up meter's into the sky and pointed down at them, then hundreds of meters away from it a huge metal wall arose also and encircled them.

Sera looked on with a raised eyebrow.

"I forgot to add another thing, multitasking. These guns have been specially made and enhanced by ability users so they move at speeds that could be dangerous to you if not properly on guard, you'll be avoiding all my sneak attacks on you while making sure not to get hit with any of these bullets, time stop is not allowed and you're not allowed to leave the encirclement nor destroy the machines" she declared.

Sera looked up at Gretchen, she was really starting off with hell mode and not even a little mercy was being shown.

Gretchen suddenly vanished and Sera was hit by some invisible force which surprised her but she had no time to get her thoughts in order as all guns unloaded fire from all sides leading to a blazing hell rain of special bullets.

To Sera everything suddenly slowed for a moment as her eyes wondered all round looking for whatever hit her, it seems although these bullets were indeed special and enhanced with Aura abilities it wasn't a real threat to her.

A thin aura layer covered her body and she moved, she felt a slight tingle at the back of her mind but having no idea what it was.

Sera weaved through all the rain of bullets and actually pushing them away to the side as her senses were still waiting for whatever hit her to attack again, but she didn't see it happen again as she was kicked hard into the ground with enough force to cause a Shockwave and a massive crater in the earth which was extremely dangerous but Sera was already gone a micro second after she made contact with the ground. Appearing some distance away and moving all around through her immense pain to catch and direct all the bullets away from her body and Vanished from the spot again to avoid being caught.

The rain of bullets suddenly stopped as the Gatling died down and returned to the ground while Seraphina already finished deflecting the last hails of bullets coming directly at her and left the other ones as they weren't a threat, she dropped down to a knee and held her gut in pain while panting heavily. She was so incredibly weak and in pain right now that it felt she could pass out from it, she's may not be invulnerable but her body's so incredibly resistant that it may as well be invulnerability.

But no time type ability user likes behaving like a tank even if incredibly resistant, speed, reaction, flexibility and brutality, that's the nature of a time type.

All around her were bullets and multiple holes in the ground, "Hmm" expressed a Gretchen whom had appeared right next to Sera startling her by this.

She looked down at her student with a casual look "it seems I was wrong a bit, the hail of enhanced bullets clearly weren't a threat enough to push you as you had your eyes out for my phantom throughout, which is understandable I guess. But I love the maneuver you pulled after being slammed into the ground" the walls around the place went down.

"Get up" she was direct and cold.

Sera complied and pushed herself to get up, her forehead was full of sweat and a slight pained expression was on her face but she was hiding most of it well. This made Gretchen smirk internally as her student truly wasn't just physically but mentally strong also, but she wanted to push some more as this wasn't enough as she had a goal.

Gretchen created a small distance between them and her gaze suddenly became a little colder.."Fight me".

Sera was a bit shocked and bit her lips as she fought the urge to say something that could make her situation more damning, so she closed her eyes and balled her fists as she steadied herself then threw a Puch towards Gretchen's gut.

<<Boooom>>

Her punch was casually stopped by Gretchen's palm, her cold gaze turned even colder.."let me alliterate myself, fight me with everything you've got. Run absolutely wild and don't try holding back because I promise you.... you'll regret it" her eyes glowed up for a moment and Sera's pupils contracted as she almost for a moment there it felt like she was with death itself.

She jumped back unconsciously and held her gut again while gasping for air while looking straight at Gretchen whose face was so serene and apathetic it was scary "soon enough you'll learn absolute control of your emotions" said Gretchen as she took a step forward and Vanished.

Sera's head nearly instantly turned to the side to see what she called her literal death if that kick connects with her, in that moment her blue eyes glowed.

**CRACK!!**

It didn't even have to connect with anything, just the force of the attack uprooted and flattened anything in front of her in a 500,000 Kilometer range and a deep cut out trench was formed in the earth. Gretchen slowly put her leg down on the ground gently, there was a reason she chose this place, the outside just won't be surviving anything she wanted to do.

The force behind her casual and extremely restricted attacks were too dangerous this was the same reason why god-levels were restricted from using high level force against anyone and were advised to end anything quick without causing too much damage to the earth because no one wants to be spending that much money fixing entire countries and landscapes by hiring ability users to do so.

There's also the fact of the death toll it would cause, so most god-tiers are under watch daily. It's not like god-tiers are forced to accept this because that was impossible in the first place, it's just an agreement reached between parties.

Gretchen turned around to see Seraphina hunched a little over and still breathing heavily while gritting her teeth "Nice of you to have dodged that, you would have died if you hadn't. But why do still hold back I ask you, if the pain you're feeling restricts you from putting much power into your attacks then you have a new goal to overcome it".

She stepped forward again which made Sera's senses go on high alert"ball a real fist at me and give me a real punch". But then unexpectedly Gretchen didn't move, in fact she just stood there which confused Sera for a moment before she realized something and wizened her eyes then suddenly Vanished from her spot as the ground suddenly burst open forming a massive crater.

But Sera wasn't out of the danger zone yet as the moment she stopped her movement something grabbed onto her face, she exclaimed internally and then threw a punch at whatever it was but she couldn't hit anything.

Then she was suddenly flung away at such a speed that if time was still allowed to flow it would be breaking the sound barrier right now. She had become a human missile, but Sera in the situation had forcibly turned her body in the air, going against the natural force and velocity of her being tossed at such speeds and then planting her feet deep into the ground.

She was dragged along still for a while before finally coming to a stop and then nearly collapsing onto the floor as her entire body was red and steam rose up from her.

"You have nice instinct to have done what you did, but look at you now. Even a cripple would be able to kill you in this state of yours" Gretchen's voice coldly said from behind Sera who wasn't even surprised this time.

Gretchen looked at Sera with an apathetic gaze "I wonder why you still don't use your ability, is it because it probably wouldn't work on me anyways or do you just want to suffer"

Even if it wouldn't work there's still the extra insane boost in your power that overly dwarfs your current state, your just coating yourself in a thin line of aura to negate most of the frictional force behind your movements and nothing else".

She walked a little forward and stood before Sera "it's a little disappointing you can't sense my Phantom, I thought as you were a special monster genius and a time type too there's a strong possibility you would be able to. But then again it's not exactly useful just sensing it as there's nothing you can physically do anyways" She shrugged a little at the end.

Sera's eyes widened mentally as she finally understood what the light ringing tingle at the back of her head was, her eyes glowed alerting Gretchen who smirked internally at this.

Sera's gaze went to the side and she could finally see it, another Gretchen who was standing meters away from her.

Gretchen noticed Sera's gaze and traced her line of sight then looked back at Sera again, Visible shock present on her face but also a hidden delight.

Sera's aura suddenly flared up and Gretchen moved back some meters away, her gaze became a little focused when she saw four Phantom mechanical time wheels appear behind Sera.

It wasn't something visible in the outside world just like her phantom, she could read this all too well. The wheels disappeared and Sera stood up, her whole body flaring in a purplish white aura

"So it seems you can indeed sense it after all, your connection with time is indeed special" Gretchen praised as her new student just kept making her happy time and time again.

Sera looked up at Gretchen then towards the phantom besides her, sense? She could see everything about it.

"That's the end of this session now, I've confirmed what I wanted. If we continue you may possibly die" Gretchen said, she raised her hand up

"No"

She stopped and looked down at Sera "hm?"

"Let's continue, I'll be fine" she said, Gretchen saw the firm look in those eyes of hers and shook her head "well this isn't your choice but m--

Before she could finish her sentence she felt a huge burst of Sera's aura wash over her, Sera released all of it this time and Gretchen couldn't help but look into Sera's eyes in frozen shock.

The land was uprooting itself into tiny fragments all around and everything in a five Mile radius was affected by this pulse, Sera's hair floated up as the glow of her eyes became deeper "I want us to continue" she stated again.

Gretchen looked on calmly without a change in expression, this wasn't the feel of a mid-tier but that of a true god-tier. She smirked "Alright then, if you can push me to use anything other my current state....perhaps I'll change my mind about it after all"

Sera raised a mental brow, change her mind about what? But this wasn't important to her right now, all of time suddenly froze in this space and it remained just the two of them moving. Of course Sera wasn't expecting her to be affected by the time freeze as she knew her limits all too well, Sera hunched down with her hands flailing forward and then Vanished from her spot appearing right above Gretchen who's eyes tracked her movement but never bothered to make a move.

She punched down at Gretchen but the Phantom had moved and caught her hand, she scrunched her brows and twisted herself in the air but she found that her hand been let go so she spun and did a kick towards her neck but the Phantom had blocked again.

She locked eyes with it and found that she couldn't physically move it at all with her force, she dropped down to the ground and jumped back again to create some more distance. There was a reason why she had frozen time itself, the destruction that would have been caused by just her movements alone right now can't even be described by the word devastation.

Gretchen judged the power she just felt through her phantom right now and couldn't help but shiver internally in excitement, that power was dangerously close to a weak level 7. Not even even she could achieve this same potency when she was a level 4, the closest her power was ever judged to reach was a weak level 6.5 at her absolute best.

"Why aren't you fighting me directly" she asked.

Gretchen smiled "I don't need to, my phantom possesses equal power to me so that's your opponent" she replied.

Sera frowned a little at this "Your Phantom is clearly weird, the way it blocks is unethical and with no balance to it's being. So it very clearly does that because it can't be moved by physical force anyways no matter how uncomfortable it's position is, it's like trying to move something frozen in time... an impossibility" she already deduced this from her clash with it.

Gretchen's smirk froze, the girl did actually figure it....wait. She blinked multiple times and looked straight at Sera "You can actually see it and not just sense it!?" Her voice got a little bit excited as she had thought it impossible for her to do so, the only other being capable of seeing her Phantom's was Dawn himself and she could understand why he could see it but how can Sera see them.

"Mhm" she nod her head

"I see"....She turned silent as multiple thoughts ran in her head and then she looked at Sera again "I'll face you directly this time" her tone was almost like one you use in speaking to an enemy, Sera dutifully put her guard up as the real challenge was about to begin, she wasn't hoping to win but just push her enough.

Gretchen Vanished and Sera ducked her head to the side as her hand passed through, but her hand was already coming from the other side to grab hold of her arm and it successfully caught it in it's tracks while also her other hand to put a stop to Gretchen's incoming knee to her gut.

Sera didn't waste time and used this moment of small surprise to push her knee to the side and leave her arm as she punch straight into her gut but Gretchen who had begun falling back a little caught her arm with her right arm and then swept at her feet.

**Trip**

*//Huh?//* Sera suddenly found herself tripped over and sideways in the air which displaced all her power and surprising her completely until a kick was suddenly few centimeters away from her face snapping her back to reality as she punched downwards at Gretchen's feet.

<Bam>

Sera still got sent flying like a rocket but she steadied herself pushed her feet onto a tree the moment of impact and using her own same generated force to launch herself high into the air like a bullet and flipping over to get on land again while being being dragged backwards and trying to steady herself.

Her left arm was trembling violently but this was the best outcome she got out of it, her own power canceled most of the incoming force from Gretchen's kick leaving her take something that's manageable enough for her body to handle.

Although still feeling the immense pain in her gut from the first time this was far better compared to that, she closed her eyes and went face down.

"Congratulations, you managed to save yourself from dying"

<<Whoosh>>

Sera moved towards the side to avoid a lunar kick coming down at her head, she missed and landed in a half split but Sera had already crouched down on the ground and spun around to do a Brazilian jiu-jitsu style kick towards Gretchen's head but she ducked down immediately.

Sera wasn't done with her movement and using her hand to pivot herself she brought her second leg down on Gretchen's ducked head, but Gretchen had turned her feet and pushed herself into Sera's centre to avoid the dangerous part of the attack.

Her body slammed against Sera's and Sera's kick had basically lost all threat as she was pushed off her balance but both rolled on the ground and came back to a good position, Sera was breathing heavily but Gretchen was still looking as fresh as ever.

They both Vanished and went on the attack again, Sera by a hairs breath had carefully dodged a couple of Punches and kicks then retaliated with a couple of hers aimed strategically.

She raised her hand to tightly catch the punch coming right at her, then within that same time frame of impact pulled the fist forward and turned a little to the side as she stepped her foot down to catch Gretchen's feet in a stomp but she already saw through her ruse and kicked her feet forward like a whip towards Sera's calf.

But Gretchen's eyes widened when she suddenly felt herself being pulled forward again and straight into Sera's centre who had displaced her leg a little forward prompting a miss, then Sera pulled Gretchen's hand down forcefully bringing displacing her balance and went in for a full speed uppercut against her right that very moment....But nothing, she felt her fist hit nothing and she wasn't even holding her hand anymore.

Sera looked at the Phantom right in front of her and jumped back but it didn't move, she looked around to find Gretchen and found her standing meters away. Her eye's glowing as she walked towards Sera with a slight smile on her face "you truly have some terrifying instincts and it's my fault I underestimated you, congratulations...you won" she announced.

Sera blinked and looked down at her hands, in that moment where she had run a simulation in her head to catch Gretchen's fist she was already expecting the damage that would come with it. Her let arm was broken and swollen badly, she groaned and placed her other hand atop hr broken arm and reversed time on herself.

In seconds her arm was back to normal, her blazing aura died down and her eyes were back to their normal blue. Time had resumed it's flow once more and Sera's vision had begun turning blurry as she had been holding and pushing it too long.

In moments everything blacked out and she fell forward, but Gretchen had appeared with her arm shielding her body preventing her fall. She looked down at the Unconscious Sera and smiled as she raised her hand towards the empty space and visible cracks began forming before her until the cracks turned into a doorway.

Her Phantom placed Sera atop her shoulders and walked outside the space which closed back seconds later after their exit, her student had been truly exceptional today and even giving her some genuine surprises like being able to actually see her Phantoms and not just sense them.

*//She may truly be the right one for it after all, but I'll need more time. When she truly steps into the god-level then... I may pass it onto her...if she agrees to it//* she sighed mentally and looked at Sera.

She possesses a greater flexibility than her in combat as there's just some particular styles that don't match her so she tends to be a little restricted, and her instinct is clearly terrifying indeed.

It's a normal thing when geniuses are born with an inborn instinct and ability for combat at a certain level but Sera's was the highest she's ever seen yet, there's a particular focus she has that makes her a dangerous opponent to fight and her control over movements is much more refined than that of Gretchen's.

It seems she had been hanging around Sterling too long and clearly was taking on a bit of his fighting style during their sparring sessions, she pushed all thoughts away for now and left for the main healing center as Sera was in real need of a fixing....

[In an empty Hallway]

Two figures stood opposite each other with their eyes glowing, but one figure was stuck in the air with an invisible field around him while gagging for air as the opposite figure put more pressure around his captives throat with his ability.

"You nearly did it today Adam, were you satisfied I ask you" asked a very angry Vincent, although very rarely would one see Vincent mad. On those rare occasions where he would be, no one needed to be told to stay far away from him, but in his angry voice was one of pain.

Vincent released his ability and let Adam fall free to the ground, he immediately and instinctively clutched at his throat wheezing and coughing uncontrollably.

He looked up at Vincent's glowing deep eyes, he could feel the amount of willpower he was using in suppressing his aura and just crushing him right on the spot.

Adam instinctively looked down and balled his fists which were slightly trembling along with his fast beating heart.

"Where's that pride of yours Adam, you were going to kill me weren't you, why aren't you rebelling now. Come on, do it" Vincent taunted and widened his arms in open invitation for Adam to try anything he wanted.

Vincent's tone got a little lower and incredibly more colder as he spoke "or has the feeling of being completely toyed with with and nearly crushed calmed that fire of yours" he asked Adam and smirked

"You've never been toyed with before haven't you, even I never tried that with you. But today you met someone who overwhelmingly surpasses you in EVERY single category and you felt small didn't you huh, and the worst part is how much younger than you he is".

He squatted down and grabbed Adam's head forcefully making him look him in the eyes "I'm sure you heard everything he was going to do to your family if they dared come after him for killing you right" he smiled brightly "you see what you almost did to yourself right Adam, your poor family was going extinct right after their darling boy had been killed. All because of some fucking foolish pride and that anger of yours that you can't manage" he slammed Adam's head into the wall behind him causing a deep crack.

Adam still kept quiet and opted to look anywhere but Vincent's eyes.

"You have no idea how lucky you are he didn't truly break you first, you leaving that fight unscathed is probably one of the biggest miracles of all time" he stood up and straightened his clothes properly "if you truly continue on this path of yours Adam...you may not even have the chance to regret and fix things later on. You're no king as you are now, just some hot headed thug and a disgrace to yourself" Vincent took one last look at Adam and turned around to leave.

Adam was now left alone in the hallway, while Vincent was on his way to the hospital again. Silver was still admitted in there and he wanted to go see his friend now and get some good vibes onto himself, he had forgotten to do this before but now he's remembered again.

On the way there many thoughts ran through his head, he wondered if what he did was a bit too much. Was being harsh and cold the right way to do it this time when it comes to Adam, he just didn't want him to end up creating a situation such as the one with Arlo again.

It just mad him mad and sad the route Adam is going, he cared for him. Truly did care for him as he felt like a little brother to him, when he first met him he just was so innocent and childishly cocky but playful. He already saw himself as King and it just made him smile seeing such a small kid be that confident in himself, and he had the potential to back up his goals too.

Till this day he still can't find it, the reason why Adam would change so much in such little time. Was it the hard bloody battles? The constant threat all round or did he actually force him to grow too fast in this environment, but he remembered Adam still never losing that light of his even in the midst of all this.

He just saw him get more and more mature as he understood everything a King is and that you need to maintain absolute power plus a particular charm to remain at the top, but he still knew how to have fun in all that too.

Vincent groaned mentally and ran a hand through his head, he definitely truly had good intentions for Adam all round and it would pain him greatly if he truly was somehow the cause of Adam's total change in character.

But Vincent himself remembered how suddenly he was the most distant person in the world for some reason and could barely remember anything that happened within that time frame, it's not like he wasn't always a little more distant than others. It was something that came with being the most powerful and also being king atop that, there's always a little coldness you feel at the back of your skull. And you know from now on up it's just a continuous ascension in power, he already was aware of the truth a while ago but he'd already learnt to accept it.

It was also the reason why both be and Rozaria had so much respect between themselves as they were nearly one and the same, ironically Rozaria had a literal ice ability which made Vincent just chuckle unconsciously and then sigh. Her presence as the only student within the school who could rival him was indeed a comfort in a way, it's lonely at the top.... that saying hasn't been proven wrong yet.

*//But...well I guess I'm no longer at the top now am i//* he remembered that Arlo and the other girl Seraphina too now existed in the school and smiled as he finally had reached the Hospital but was met with a surprise.

Someone unexpected was here too, that woman Gretchen and surprisingly some other girl was with her too, she was being carried by some invisible thing and heading into the hospital also. Gretchen had already laid eyes on him sometime ago but had no motivation to do anything other than that so she just walked in together with her Phantom and Sera.

Vincent was still a bit surprised, when did someone like her arrive here and that girl laying unconscious on that invisible thing....was that Seraphina?.

He blinked and stepped into the hospital too, although surprised for sure when she arrived it wasn't something to beat himself over anyways.

Whatever she had come to do wasn't something he was interested in getting himself involved in, after asking around for Silver's ward Vincent went on his way to greet him...

[Meanwhile with Dawn].

He had taken off his tie and sat down on the couch while slowly sipping the wine in his hands and checking up on the news around the world as he had been out of touch with the outside for a while so this was all he felt like doing now.

Although still having some things left to do he would be doing them in due time, on the news channels there was some small crimes committed amongst ability users here and there but nothing warranting attention. Dawn continued his search until he came across something captivate enough and sat up a bit in his chair:

---[News Television]---

-Host1(female): "As has been announced a day ago, it seems the seven most powerful god families in the world are having a serious get together with the world leaders"

-Host2(Male): "We've received nothing past that unfortunately, but the slight tension between the seven different families has indeed been growing more and more according to our reports"

-Host1(female): "And the possibility exists that this meeting it might be for the purpose of restoring peace and calm between the families".

-Host2(Male): "Although we still can't be sure until our sources come back with more concrete information on the current situation at hand".

Host1(Male): "Have the families possibility found something we might not--

The Male suddenly cut himself off in the middle of his sentence and then changed the subject completely, his co-host also understanding the situation and following along.

They began talking about some train and something subway related but Dawn had turned of the TV and scrunched his brows as he stayed silent in thought for quite a while but then relaxed back onto the couch and sipped his wine. "No, I shouldn't make any moves at all now. But still surprising they would make such a move and I wouldn't be aware of it, have I really been that disconnected from it all" Dawn sighed as he gently shook the wine in his hands and sipped then put the empty glass down.

"I'm sure Hera's aware of this and may probably may have bothered not to tell as it isn't anything threatening, but still....".

Dawn couldn't handle it anymore and heaved a breath as he set his tie back in place and then got up, it still just couldn't sit right with him. He heard a knock on the door and gave his permission, Hera walked in to see Dawn preparing himself for something and asked "is something the matter Sir".

Dawn turned to look at her "are you aware of those guys making a move and not alerting me to it" he asked.

Hera nigh instantly understood what he was referring to and answered directly "yes sir, I was".

Dawn nod his head "as expected, anyways I'll be leaving for a bit" he announced.

Hera slightly widened her eyes in surprise "but sir, it's not something--"

"I know" Dawn smiled, I just don't feel like I could sit down comfortably while this happens even if it's not something dire enough for my attention".

Hera internally fought the urge not to say anything else and just did a slight bow after a hard won battle "If it would make you comfortable Sir then I have nothing else to say" she complied to his decision.

Dawn smiled weakly "I always trouble you Hera don't i, even when I know you mean the best for me" he said.

Hera looked up and shook her head "No sir, i completely understand why you're doing this. For I do not possess the confidence I would have been able to restrain myself if I be in your shoes right now" she said calmly.

Dawn didn't know what words to use as words couldn't describe just how thankful he is for having Hera in his life, and she was also the literal reason why he was alive till this day. He heaved a breath and just nod "I'll be back soon enough" he said.

Then his eyes glowed and Dawn suddenly burst out into multiple small blue light crystal particles which swirled around and then went up through the building and kept travelling until it phased through the Dome then it began on it's way through the skies...

[At the Meeting conference between those who control the world]

10 beings sat around a huge round table, 7 of those beings present each had someone standing behind them. But three of the beings present at this time each had normal black hair compared to the current seven who had different hair colors each.

The three sat in a row of each other and the one in the middle had the most commanding presence about him.

This was the current world leader and also the most powerful cripple in the world, but he was someone the family heads respected in all Ernest.

To achieve such a position as a cripple and earn the respect of beings who had the power to end his life with just a breath and also take over his role anytime they wanted then no one will be in the wrong if he were to be called the most or one of the most exceptional beings on the planet itself.

He moved his gaze around taking note of each and every being present in this room right now, and when he was done his shoulders visibly relaxed as he began.."We're all here now, so shall we begin on our way to get rid of this mess" his voice reverberated with absolute authority.
