1 Ch. 1 - A bored God

"Maaaaaaaaaan, I'm bored." Said a man sitting on a golden throne.

This was none other than Shin, God of Reality across the omniverse. Though he wasn't the one sitting at the very top of the food chain, he was quite up there. The only one who toppled him was Yahweh - the God of Origin.

They both were the most powerful entities in everything and the ones who held the most authority. To all below him, Shin's words were law, but the same worked for him because he was not the No. 1. At the top of everything was Yahweh. Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent. He was all and all was him.

When existence wasn't even born yet, Yahweh was there. When everything ends, Yahweh will be there.

Now, Shin was also nothing to scoff at. By being the No. 2 in the omniverse, he naturally held unimaginable power.

By being the God of Reality, Shin could manipulate, mold, and shape reality according to his will. He was the one that decided whether something was fictional or real. He could control the very rules of logic and reason to perform not only impossible but also inconceivable feats. He could, by all means, do anything he wanted.

But, even though he was almost all-powerful, boredom still struck him in the gut. Maybe the very reason why he was bored was because he was almost all-powerful.

Thinking for some time about his next plan of action, Shin got up from his throne.

"Ikla!" He loudly said. His voice echoed throughout the white space he was in.

Moments later, a beautiful woman appeared from the ground kneeling in front of him.

"Yes, Lord Shin," Ikla said with her head down.

"I'll be leaving for some time. If anything happens, you are to contact me immediately by pressing this," he handed her a palm-sized red button, "If that idiot Toulgan comes to my home once more seeking trouble, then press the other side."

"Yes, Lord Shin! I will do my best!" Ikla remained with her head down.

"Good. You may leave," He gestured with his hand.

Nodding her head, Ikla disappeared into the ground as quickly as she appeared.

"Hm..." Shin remained deep in thought for some time. "Yes... that will work."

Effortlessly creating a gigantic mirror in front of him, he began altering his appearance. In actuality, Shin didn't have a fixed form. He was born as a formless white light, with no gender or appearance. But, 99% of his time alive had been spent in a male, human form. He didn't know why, but he felt a strange familiarity and likeness to humans.

Looking at this mirror, Shin began altering his appearance using his powers.

First, he changed his size to be 6'2. Then, so as to not look like a walking stick, he added some slight muscle definition to this new body of his. Nothing too crazy though, because he didn't want to look like a mountain of muscles.

After that, he moved on to his face. He gave the body a pair of bright green eyes that entrapped anyone that gazed upon it. Moving on to the hair, he made it short dark-brown and styled it in a messy but also neat hairstyle. Done with the hair, he quickly altered the eyebrows to be black and somewhat arched, adding a more serious tone to his face. He then added a sharp jawline to his appearance and did the mouth, nose, and chin. (look here for his appearance)

Giving his body a simple buttoned black shirt along with navy-blue suit pants, he admired himself in the mirror for a bit.

"I've outdone myself." He smiled, "But, one thing's still left to be done."

What needed to be done, you ask? Well, Shin will answer you.

"Obviously, this body needs a vertical scar over the left eye."

Doing just that, Shin added a vertical, Kakashi-like scar to his left eye and felt proud of his new creation.

"I look perfect." He praised himself, "Now for the other part of my plan, I need to visit a reality outside of my own." He said to himself.

Shin, instead of teleporting to a random reality, chose to create another one just for this purpose.

Floating in the air, he opened his arms wide as his eyes momentarily shone a white light. He had just created a whole other reality.

But, before he teleported to his new reality, he had somewhere else to go, and someone else to report to.

...

*POP*

Appearing in front of a small Japanese-like home, Shin made sure that his clothes were all nice and clean before knocking on the door in front of him.

*knock* *knock*

After several seconds, a hoarse voice answered. "Who is it?"

"It's Shin, Lord Yahweh." He quickly answered, not wanting to leave the entity behind the door waiting for even a millisecond.

"Enter," Yahweh replied once again.

Sliding the door to the side, Shin entered the house and immediately fell on one knee.

"Lord Yahweh, I am here to request a leave of absence from my reality."

In front of Shin was a small old man with long white hair that reached the floor and a long white beard wearing a black kimono.

Yahweh stroked his beard with his right hand for a moment before answering, "What is the reason for your request, Shin?"

"I was bored, Lord Yahweh." Truthfully replied Shin. Try to lie in front of Yahweh and a bitch slap will come.

Hearing this, Yahweh's expression brightened up and a smile appeared on his face, "Haha... That is to be expected after trillions of years of duty." he said, "Very well. Your request is approved, Shin. You may take as long as you need to return to your reality. I see that you have created a new reality, which I assume is one of the reasons for your request. I will be watching over you."

"Thank you, Lord Yahweh." Shin got up and bowed a little with his hands joined together to express his gratitude.

"It is alright." The small old man shushed him out from his home.

Done with what he needed to do, Shin finally teleported to his new baby reality.

...

*POP*

Appearing in a black space, Shin created a 100.000.000sqkm flat grass field. Naturally, it wasn't entirely plane. Countless trees, lakes, mountains, caves, and all sorts of things existed there. Shin even added some life there, like cows, pigs, horses, unicorns, and dragons.

He added a star near the flat world so that it could have natural light and also added a moon. The days there would be 24 hours long, 14 hours daylight, 10 hours nighttime. How a day and night cycle existed in a flat world? Don't know. It just did.

Landing on the gigantic grass field, Shin picked a good position to build something.

In the middle of a couple of 1.000ft tall trees and near a very large, beautiful lake, Shin began to envision a small, simple store in his mind.

Starting with a beautiful dark hardwood floor, he moved on to the walls. Painting them a light-blue tint, he added some large glass windows in between the walls. He then created dozens of small little pillars to display the items he would be selling. Done with almost everything, he finished by making a pair of dark wooden doors at the store's entrance.

"As expected of me. This is fantastically well-made." He boasted.

Entering the cozy little store, he was immediately hit with fresh air that smelled of nature.

"Good..." He unconsciously said. "Let me begin by creating a few objects then. I also need to create a currency for my store."

Before creating the items, he first went to the store's entrance and created 2 machines to the right and left sides of the doors. These machines were going to be used to convert whatever currency the client had into the store's own currency.

"The currency will be called Rubies." He quickly decided.

The machines had an exchange rate of 1 to 1, meaning that if someone came in with a dollar, they'd be able to convert it into 1 Rubie.

Now actually done with the basics, Shin did the one thing that was needed for the store to be open for business.

Waving his hand once at the store's double doors, he connected these doors to every conceivable reality out there. In each and every single reality, there was now a door somewhere that, when entered, would bring the individual into Shin's store, which he decided to name 'Infinity Store'.

Before any customers entered the store, Shin finally began creating some of the objects, items, and artifacts that this store of his would be selling.

~5 minutes later,~

"Alright! I've created over 10 thousand items, each with individual abilities and powers. This should be enough to last a little while." he said with excitement in his voice.

Even though he had created 10.000 artifacts, only about 100 were on display, the rest were kept in a subspace of his. He made so many because he expected his store to be bustling with customers soon, so when an artifact was sold, another one would automatically take its place, never leaving an empty display.

Just as he said that, the store's doors opened for the first time, signaling the arrival of a customer.

"Huh? Where am I?" Said a man carrying 3 swords on his waist.

Shin didn't say anything and kept observing this weird man.

"Oy, you, can you tell me where I am?" The man saw Shin and asked.

"My store," he casually answered, ignoring the way the man addressed him. He was used to being treated with utmost respect and admiration, but he needed to learn how to be treated as a random guy too now that he was the owner of a store.

"And? Where is your store located?" The moss-headed man inquired.

"My store is where my store is, dumbass." Shin scoffed at him, not treating a customer as he should.

The man moved his right hand towards one of the katanas on his waist and slightly unsheathed one of them with his thumb, "Tell me where I am." he said with a serious expression.

"I already told you. Now, before you come attacking me, you should check out some of the stuff my store is selling. If you attack me now, I'll make it impossible for you to ever return here, and I guarantee that that will be a HUGE loss for you." Shin warned him.

Seeing the confidence in Shin's words, the man chose to keep himself calm and started to wander around the store.

*Space Cutter*

*A sword capable of cutting space itself. It can be used as a means of transportation, since if the wielder cuts space with a destination in mind, the cut in space will become a portal to the destination. This sword is capable of cutting through even the hardest metals made by mortals with ease.*

*100.000.000 Rubies*

The man was instantly sucked in by the sight of a sword and carefully read its description.

"A sword capable of cutting space itself...?" he doubted the authenticity of the words he just read.

"Hey! Can you show me this sword?" He pointed at the sword and turned towards Shin.

"Sure," Shin walked up to the sword and removed it from its display.

Wielding the fully-black katana in his hands with expertise, Shin swung the sword down with the entrance to the store in mind.

*riiiiiiiiiiip*

As the sword moved downwards, a large rip in space followed its trail.

The space where the sword had passed through was literally cut, like an open wound. Through the thin cut could be seen a pair of wooden doors. He then put the sword inside its display again and stuffed both of his hands inside the rip and started to open it, stretching it to the sides, literally tearing Space apart.

"See?" Shin turned to the man, only to see him with his jaw wide open and his eyes jumping out of their sockets.

"WHAT?!" He couldn't help but shout. "H-How much is that sword?"

Before answering, Shin altered reality to make him know about the currency that the man's reality used.

"100.000.000 Belly." He said.

"!" The man instantly felt a chill down his stomach. 'That's a lot!' he thought.

"if you think it's too much, leave. It's well worth the price tag." Shin clarified. He then entered the cut in space that was now big enough to fit him and he appeared outside the store, right in front of the doors. As he did that, the cut in space seemingly healed itself in instants, as if nothing was there a second ago.

Entering the store, he spoke. "See? Well worth the price."

The man stayed silent for a whole minute before speaking again. "How do I return to where I was? I need to talk to my captain."

Shin walked up to him and grabbed the sword from the display once again and handed it to the man. "Swing the sword while thinking of the location you want to go to."

The man grabbed the sword and, as if feeling the power the sword contained, started smiling.

He did as told to and cut the space in front of him.

"Go with the sword. I know you'll buy it. Don't even try to scam me. You know how to return here." Shin motioned for him to go and walked to the counter.

"...Alright." The man entered the cut in space and disappeared.

"Maybe I should make something that will make it easier for people to understand where they are... I'm definitely not going to explain to every time that they've exited their reality." He thought out loud.

...

~In a world filled with pirates and marines,~

"I really returned to the Sunny! I need to have this sword!" The 3-sword carrying man said after appearing in his ship through the cut in space.

"LUFFY! COME HERE!" He shouted.

A few seconds later, a straw-hat-wearing young man came.

"What's up, Zoro?" He asked the man, now identified as Zoro.

Zoro then explained the previous events to Luffy and said that he must buy this sword.

"What? 100.000.000 Belly? That's a lot on a sword..." Luffy said, completely ignoring all the rest that Zoro said about him cutting space with a sword as it was too complicated for him to understand.

"Luffy, watch this," Zoro swung the sword downwards, cutting space, and entered through the cut, disappearing along with the cut.

"Zoro? Where did you go?" Luffy searched for him while scratching his head.

"Behind you, airhead," He said.

Luffy turned and saw Zoro behind him, "How did you do that?"

"It's the sword! I'm telling you, I need to buy this! It'll help us too! Imagine being able to reach an island instantly!" Zoro tried to convince his captain to let him buy the sword. 100 million Belly was no small amount after all.

"Hm... Alright. We'll need to sell some of the treasure from Thriller Bark, though. But, we won't use the sword to go to other islands! The journey to the islands is what makes it fun!" Luffy said.
