Nightmares

"Argh!"

The short scream of a woman sounded out in a dark room. A light off to the side of a bed was hastily turned on as Chloe appeared in her nightgown.

She was clutching her chest with a pained expression and was gasping for breath. Her panicked emotions could easily be seen from her erratic eyes.

*Ha Ha*

She breathed in and out for a while as she continued to clutch onto her chest for the next few minutes. But slowly her breathing calmed down and she loosened her grip.

"Again?"

Her small voice could be heard as she finally calmed herself down and looked at the door, its thick wooden doors stopping any noise from reaching outside. She continued to stare at it for a short while before she released a sigh of relief.

Reaching over to the side she turned off the light plunging the room into darkness again. But after a few minutes the light was turned back on.

"Can't get to sleep now."

Her begrudging voice sounded out as she flipped her bedding off and got out of bed. Moving over to her desk she powered her computer up and started to surf the web. Checking all her social media accounts she had a quick look if anyone was online.

But too her dismay no one was on. Looking at the time she smacked her head. It was 3:30 in the morning, on December 28th. Maybe if it was new years there would still be some people up, but not today.

She just shook her head and continued to surf. While looking around there was one news article that caught her attention.

(AGAE gamer breaks his contract and goes missing.)

Her attention was immediately drawn to the article and she read it silently to herself.

"Gamer speaks to news publisher….. User name 'liontrappedincave'… goes missing just before interview….news publisher going bankrupt….."

Chloe's expression turned grim as she read the article, the information that was presented was concerning. The complete disappearance of a person who was said to break their contract? Thinking of her own contract and its strict rules a small sweat broke out on her head.

But after a while she shook her head and laughed it off.

"I mean what type of user name is 'liontrappedincave'?"

She laughed for a bit longer and pushed the thought to the back of her head. Her contract rules were strict but breaking them wouldn't hurt her too much. The monetary loss and restriction on playing their game were 2 of the big things.

She had nothing to worry about. When her own trailer came out in a few weeks she would be able to talk more about her experience without breaking the contract.

She smiled to herself at the thought and clicked on a bookmark. The page instantly redirected to the official website of AGAE. It hadn't updated since the last 'Solomon' trailer but she would still check it every day.

She started as she looked at the front page, there was new information. She was surprised as many thought that the new trailer and information would come out during New Year, but instead it came out now. This was unexpected.

She quickly got the trailer up in a different tab and looked at the class information. She was more interested in that then the new trailer.

Opening the class section, 2 new pictures appeared.

The first was a picture of an old man wearing a robe. The cowl covering his head was just obscuring what his face looked like. He had a grown out white beard and was the stereotypical image one would associate with a magician.

What was special about the picture, were the glowing lines that surrounded and appeared on the man. Even though his face couldn't be seen the eyes were glowing. Under the cowl 2 blinding lights of blue shone out like globes of power.

The robes he was wearing were filled with lines that glowed faintly connecting itself to his staff. It was a normal staff with a glowing gem on the end. The gem was lit up blue, exactly like the man's eyes and that glowing blue ran down the staff.

The lines connected with the robe making the picture fit perfectly.

(Mage)

(Description

The Mage is a master of mana. The impossible is neither out of reach nor uncontrollable for those who wish to master the arcane. Learners of the secrets of impossibility, those who are drawn to the arcane know the most effective way to use their spirit.)

Under the picture of the mage a lush forest was in view. A single person stood in the forest their back turned. They had leather armour on and a cowl that covered their head. Their sleeves were cut short which showed of the braces they were wearing.

Slung over their back was a bow. The intricate designs caved into it showed off the attention and care that was put into making the weapon. Next to the bow was a quiver full of arrows. Looking at the armour that perfectly clung to the person's body, it could just be made out that the person was female.

They wore sturdy boots and short pants as they crouched on a branch looking at something. What they were looking at couldn't be seen. At a first glance it was hard to see, but there was also something else in the picture.

A small animal was perched next to the archer. It was a bird of some type and it too was looking in the same direction. If one looked hard enough they would be able to notice the metal claws that the bird wore.

(Archer)

(Description

The Archer is a master of distance. For those of prowess, skill and sight; your weapon no matter what age, would be one of distance. Masters of the ranged weapon, nothing can hide from their aim. Master hunters their mastery of animals is only eclipsed by druids)

"It's still not there."

Chloe's voice rang out after looking at the screen. She let loose a short sigh and closed the tab. It was time to watch the new trailer.

Hey guys here's the first chapter back! Another chapter tomorrow!

Yes a little shorter than usual, but if i also put in the trailer it would be too long.

Yes the next few chapters will be set in this world, and not with Liam. Will get back to him in 5 chapters.

Please comment on any mistakes or suggestions.

Thanks for reading :)
