Chapter 132: Hotsprings (I)

The next day. Morning.

Schwarzer Mansion, First Floor.

Dawn began to rise over the Eisengard Mountain Range. Sunrise started earlier here due to where Ymir was placed, so some of its residents could already be seen opening up shop for the day. Two large bedrooms could be seen on the first floor with a few beds per guest room. The curtains could still be seen closed in one of the rooms, but sunlight was already starting to peer into it.

My mind seemed to stir quicker than usual to get up today. Before I realized it, I felt two warm hands wrap over my chest, only to feel decent sized very soft mounds press against my back, causing me to blink for a brief moment. I was still under my covers, but at this time, I heard a soft voice escape from a mouth that didn't belong to me.

"Mmm...Is it morning already?", A second voice uttered softly underneath my covers.

That voice was someone I was all too familiar with. Deciding to remove the cover, I saw a pair of half revealing breasts bouncing s bit against my back before I moved my gaze upward. It was a plum haired girl, Emma. Only this time her hair currently wasn't braided so it took me a second to recognize her with her hair all straight.

I could only shake my head a bit seeing Emma in my bed, with an empty bed nearby. She likely wandered to it during my sleep. Still, I reveled in that feeling for a moment. I could see Emma still slowly rubbing her eyes awake, so I did a swift subtle motion of my hand, and moved deeper into the covers. Opening the hem of my pajamas, I saw my little glory, far from a full mast. I could only let another sigh, carrying a hint of defeat this time.

"One of these days...It's definitely going to come in full swing...", I quietly uttered to myself, only to quickly close my pajamas up again.

Yet I heard a giggle reach my ears coming from from another nearby bed. A purple haired girl in a night gown a year or two older than me could be seen in another bed not far away beside the empty bed.

"Hehe. Oh my what is it do my eyes see on this fine morning?", Angelica spoke with a playful grin as she rested her back on a pillow, appearing awake. She could definitely see Emma and I in the same bed. Hearing her say that, my eyes suddenly turned deadpan as I looked at Angelica.

"I bet you did this, didn't you, Angie?", I retorted her.

"Hey don't put this on me. I'm actually quite jealous that a little kitten like Emma wandered over to your side instead of climbing into mine.", Angelica replied jokingly.

"I swear you....", I couldn't help but utter, only to shake my head a bit.

"Think fast.", Angelica said, only to cut me off. I saw her bring out Emma's glasses, and toss em my way.

"What are you two going on about...?", Emma tried to say, only to see two a bit blurry figures. For some reason one of the two seemed closer than ahe last saw.

"Nevermind that. Just take your glasses.", I said, trying to distract Emma.

"Thank you.", Emma responded, and put them on. Her vision was clear again. In the games she did say she didn't need to use them as a sort of mana inhibitor, but part of me still thinks her eyesight isn't all that great either.

The moment she regained her vision, Emma saw her hands wrapped around my chest a bit. It took her a good moment before she realized she was in my bed. The moment she realized it, her cheeks turned a bit red.

"Oh...", Emma tried to say, only to reposition herself further away. "I caused you trouble again, didn't I?, Emma asked. That brought me a smile as I responded to her.

"Not at all. Your presence is always welcome, unlike a certain someone.", I said, raising my voice loud enough for Angelica to hear.

"Hey! I'm here too you know.", Angelica retorted back.

"Teehee.", Emma giggled hearing Angelica retorted.

However, just as we were about to be merry and enjoy the morning, our small conversation was suddenly interrupted by a loud bang of the room's door swinging wide open.

"It's time to up and at em, folks! Mira's burning on the clock as we speak!", An upbeat voice said, rudely interrupted the conversation us three we were just having. Our eyes immediately wandered to a figure arriving in our room.

My eyes was the first to turn wide seeing a scarlet haired guy a couple years older than me walk into the guest room we were staying at.

"L-Lechter!?", I exclaimed as Emma's and Angelica's eyes were wide a bit in surprise.

"Heya, Young Master. Bet you're happy to see me giving you a wake up call.", Lechter said putting both of his hands at his side with a prideful tone.

Seeing him do this, an annoyed look appeared on my forehead. Surprisingly the same annoyed look also appeared on Angelica's forehead.

"Permission to throw a pillow at whoever the hell this guy is?", Angelica asked ne.

"Permission granted.", I immediately answered, which earned a smile from her.

"Hey now. I'm not just some guy--?", Lechter tried to say, only to get interrupted by a leak of purple battle aura Angelica released over her hand that was now holding a pillow. Quickly, she threw the pillow with enough force to hit Lechter, causing him to be flown backward back into the hallway.

Seeing this, going with the flow, Emma did a swift twist of her hand, and released a tiny bit of magic. Before Lechter could do anything, the door to the guest room abruptly shut in his face. He blinked for a moment while he was collapsed onto his butt with a tossed pillow in his hand. He could no longer see us from the outside.

"Sheesh. And here I was just trying to be a nice person to wake up Young Master. He wouldn't be one to miss his reservation for Phoenix Wings.", Lechter said to himself, only to compose himself as he stood back up and padded himself down.

As he did, he heard an aged man's voice reach out yo him with a laugh as a figure approached Lechter from behind.

"Haha, I did warn you it wouldn't be so easy, Mister Arundel. Still, I didn't think you would be acquainted His Excellency Naoto.", Teo's voice said as he slowly approached Lechter.

"Weird, I remember Young Master being a morning person too ", Lechter retorted back.

"I take it you are to make sure his return to Liberl goes smoothly?", Teo asked.

"That's the gist of it. Thank you for extending your reservation to include me as well, Lord Teo.", Lechter responded happily.

"No problem.", Teo responded. Everyone else is already starting to wake up as well to head to Phoenix Wings, so let's give His Excellency a few before the kids go on over.", Teo decided.

"Sounds good to me.", Lechter responded, placing his hands behind his head, and left with Teo. As for us, we were still blinking at Lechter's sudden arrival, but I did have a laugh seeing Angelica knock him down with a pillow.

If that did one thing, that woke us up. It was a surprise to see Lechter here, but he probably got wind of Claire finishing her assignment and likely hightailed it up here to enjoy the hotsprings we were going to do. Or that he looked for a window of opportunity to skip out on his school duties. Perhaps a bit of both.

Either way the three of us got ready for the morning. Angelica also gave me a shout to talk about something after the hotsprings, so that drew my interest.

We regrouped with the others and we all wandered over to Phoenix Wings, the largest building outside of the Schwarzer Mansion in Ymir, the famous hotsprings resort that was known to many.
