A long, curly blond hair with red eyes woman appears in the village with her companions. Judging by how I cannot view their stats...they are probably players as well.
They got off their horses as the villagers welcome them.
"Kel, go hunt some boar! We are holding a feast for the hero!!"

Though they refused at first, Golden's party still agreed to stay for a while after the village chief's persistence.

I went back with a whole bag of meat and the chefs quickly get into action.
I sigh as I see everyone's enthusiasm. Aren't they overreacting too much?

I look back and spotted Golden talking to me.

Did she figure out that I'm a player? I thought I disabled my option of preventing players to view my stats. Is she that sharp to realise I'm a player when nothing of me says so?!!

"Not really, " I reply. "Just everyone is overreacting."
"I know right!!! Luckily there is one of them who understands!!" Exclaims Golden with a smile.
One of them? So she didn't realise I'm a player?... But I should still keep my guards up.
Hm? She is staring at me in confusion? Oh...she wants a quest from me.
Luckily players can give other players quests as well...if not my cover will be blown.
"Um...you are the hero, right? How should I address you?"
I am trying to mimic those important NPCs. They always ask for the players' names before giving them a quest and the quests are usually very difficult but very rewarding.

I spot a familiar face and realise something...a wonderful opportunity.
I didn't expect the future "God of scam", Fanz, to be at her party as well...this is perfect!! How long has it been since I was this lucky?
Fanz will be known for his sharp instinct and manipulating personality in the future. He will do anything to benefit out of every situation. But, he is also known to be very loyal to his friends and the people he respects. Because of his loyalty, he sacrificed himself to stop another group from going after one of his friends on the 26th stage...truly a bit too early but also not bad to be able to clear more than half of the stages.
Being acquainted with Fanz is not a bad idea.
"Alright, Golden. I have something very important to discuss with you regarding this village. But we will do it tomorrow. For now, just enjoy the meal and have a good rest." I say.
Once I say that I send a quest immediately to them.
The quests panels pop up and even I can see it.
I decided to "reward" them a few golds and a random spare gun I have.
Seeing that the revolver has an Elite rarity, Gorden smiles.
"Alright then."
Well, the feast is only an excuse for my preparation tonight though.
After everyone went to sleep. I sneaked out and went back to the cave again.

I can detect a presence... it's one of them from Golden's party.

When I am in the blind spot of the person, I immediately jump up onto a tree and make it looks like I "disappeared".

I appear behind him and asked, "what are you doing?"

"Ah! Uh...i wanted to see what you are doing?" Says Fanz.

"...Okay fine, you just look suspicious. I don't believe you are an NPC. You are a player right?"
I smirked when he says that. "Correct. Quite sharp, aren't you? What are you going to do about it?"
I sit down on the branches of the tree near Fanz.

"I want to cooperate with you." Says Fanz.
"Oh?"
"J-Just don't kill me! I will tell you everything you need to know!!"

"Why so serious. To be honest, tell me. Why did you join Golden's party?"
"She said that she will split the loot 30% for me...and that I will gain fame if I follow her." Says Fanz.

"Correct. The hero." I say. "You will fail this stage as you won't get much fame so I advise you to quit now and join me."
"...How are you so sure that I will believe your words? What if you are trying to use me like Golden."
"That's for you to decide tomorrow after I am done dealing with them. For now, just help me kill Golden's party. You can keep all the loots."
"...show me your stats. I want to confirm that you won't kill me after I kill them."
I sigh and show him my stats. Luckily I adjust all of my stats to 1k before going out just to be safe.
"You are weak..." Says Fanz.
"That's why I need your help."

Fanz smiles. "Alright, deal."

Fanz will poison their food and they will fall into a deep slumber. That's when we act and I kill them.
Well...of course, I have a plan B and C and D since it's almost guaranteed that this plan won't work.
If even one of their senses are sharp and they smell something wrong with the food, the plan will fail.
